Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

Hayley is the perfect host, accepted my request at short notice, very friendly and responsive. The Annex is very well equip has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable, decorated to a high standard, squeaky clean warm and cosy with lots of space....a real Gem! I highly recommend a stay at Haley's Annex you won't be disappointed, I would deferentially book again! Hayley many thanks!

The house was spotless, very clean and beautiful views. Much bigger than we expected its a lovely home, very clear instructions on how to find it and easy self check in

Lovely , well equipped cottage - suited our family of five.( including 6 year old and toddler) . When we arrived they kindly installed a stair gate. Children adored play area and animals - especially Oscar the dog and the guinea pigs. There is lots of running around space. Enjoyed our trips out to the Churnet Railway and Ilam. An enjoyable five days

Alders cottage is a cosy cottage with beautiful interior and a cosy garden which we enjoyed our dinner and ice lollies on. The view is spectacular and the neighbours are really friendly. Although the description of the property says that it is not suitable for children, we took our four children and they loved it; there aren’t any stair gates and the stairs are creaky (for when you want to sneak out of the bedroom during bedtime), however, there were no concerns for the safety of our children. There is a supermarket a short drive away and a local corner shop a 2 minute walk away. Felicity’s responses have been swift and she is very friendly and accommodating. I’d lost my AirPods in the property and without hesitation, Felicity did what she could to get them back to me, as quick as possible. If you’re looking for a break from the city, or need a calm place before going to Alton Tower, I would very much recommend Alders cottage.

Stayed at Nicola's fabulous home with friends for a long weekend. Nicola doesn't usually rent out her home so you'll see few reviews but it's a high spec and beautiful house with everything we needed. There's a great outdoor space for sitting and dining with a pizza oven, bbq and hot tub. All very peaceful overlooking fields and the pond. Indoors, there's a large open plan kitchen with snug, bar and dining area. The kitchen has a marble worktop so we were asked and did take great care not to have any spillages. Bedrooms were great with 3 double ensuite and one having a separate bathroom next door. Communication was great with some fantastic recommendations for dinner and Sunday lunch (The Cow at Dalbury and Sycamore Inn at Parwich respectively). We did struggle to get taxis for dinner but Uber did cover the village. A lovely rural area with options for some walking direct from the house. A great house with a great host and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks for letting us stay.

Just finished a lovely couple of days stay with our two teen girls and dogs. Well fitted out and very clean cabin with comfy beds and linen. Great space to relax and unwind with fab restaurants and shops within the Marina. Rob is a great host providing loads of info plus additionally going above and beyond when our car had a fault guiding us to a garage locally who fixed the problem the next day! We’ll be back!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again.
