Very much enjoyed my stay at Royal Astoria. We were welcomed by the host as we arrived and we were very much looked after during our stay. Nagendra was also very accommodating and patient as our plans had changed last minute. The listing description is accurate, the hotel + rooms were cosy and very clean. The hotel location is a little difficult to find as it's off the main road, so make sure your driver/taxi knows where they are going. Aside from that I don't have a bad word to say about my stay here.

This flat was very good value, lots of space, big kitchen area and good views from the balcony, i would recommend this space.

Definitely worth it. Perfect location, a few min walk to central Thamel so that the noise there won’t disturb as much. Welcome drinks were offered and the staff delivered our heavy bags to our room. The room was very clean and comfy. Breakfast offered by the restaurant downstairs was by far the best we’ve had in kathmandu with the best price! Everything turned out to be more than expected!

We had a lovely stay The place is located in a prime location and tourist attractions like Thamel are at walking distance. The stay was comfortable and cozy with attractive interiors and a cute terrace from where you can have a hill view. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious and homely as well. The host was especially kind and accommodating at all times, and made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our time there.

I really liked this place and host. Kazi was a great help with anything I needed, including finding things to do and see. It's located in a great part of the city where you'll have everything you need within walking distance. The room itself is very nice and clean. The entrance is a little bit tricky to find as there isn't a clear sign. If you're a light sleeper, you should consider that there can be some noises from the surrounding bars and clubs at night. But for me it was perfect and I have already rebooked to stay there again.

My hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed and very willing to help with orientation to the local area etc. It was a short stay but great for budget travel and very close to everything in Thamel, as well as the buses to Pokhara, Chitwan etc.
