The chapel is a lovely place to stay. Inside, it has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room and a peaceful, warm ambience. We appreciated the fresh bread, butter, milk and other supplies, especially as we arrived quite late. The two outdoor decks were great for admiring the wonderful views. It was nice to meet Peter and Claire - thanks so much for taking the time to show us the other historic buildings on your property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We LOVED our stay in Trevallyn! The view & the light in this place is amazing. It's well set up and very comfortable. Walking distance to the Gorge & downtown! And a great home base to explore the area. We highly recommend this fabulous place.

Amazing stay! Felt right at home and loved every moment we were there! Fantastic restaurants are just 5 min drive away (which was extremely surprising considering I am from Sydney) Beautiful views, extremely peaceful and especially loved the fireplace and the bathtub with spa! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will definitely be back!!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to. The location was amazing, since it was close to both Ben Lomond and Launceston, while still remaining incredibly serene and private. The wifi connection was the strongest I had seen for my entire trip through Tasmania, which was a pleasant relief. My only regret was not spending more time there. If I ever come back to Tasmania, I will make sure to spend at least 4 or 5 nights at the Airbnb, and do day trips out from there. Saw a spectacular display of the Aurora Australis at night as well!

We had the most incredible stay at Esk Treehouse Cabin - Blackstone Heights, and I can’t recommend it enough! This place is a true gem, and the views are absolutely breathtaking—hands down the highlight of our trip. Perched among the trees, the cabin offers sweeping vistas that make you feel like you’re floating above the world. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck was pure magic, with nature stretching out in every direction. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, cozy, and spotless, but those stunning views are what made it unforgettable. The Storied Homes team was attentive and welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with jaw-dropping scenery, this is the place to book!

We were here for 6 weeks from summer to autumn. Communication was always quick and Alex was a lovely host. House is perfect for 2 adults and two under 2. TLDR: would come back again! Generally super quiet at night, apart from the occasional burnout up the street on a weekend. Couch is super comfy. Plenty of amenities - coffee machine, Netflix, boardgames, swing, and outdoor fireplace. The cot, highchair, and bath were a godsend with a toddler and baby. Driveway is quite steep if you aren't use to it, but there's plenty of easy street parking. Warm rooms in "summer" when the nights were 6C as aircon is only in the living room. Daily walks to the Gorge makes you quite fit with two coffee shops, a playground, and pool/lake swim if it's warm enough. Walking to the city is a breeze and Riverbend playground is only 50mins one way.

Great location in a peaceful street. Only 5 minutes drive to the CBD to pubs and restaurants. Very comfortable apartment that I would recommend to others.

This is a gorgeous place to stay and a lovely area to walk to shops and parks. The accommodation is filled with light and surrounded by beautiful homes and trees. I look forward to another stay at Rob’s place. Diane

Great place in a private, clean, tidy & peaceful spot. Located in a lovely & lofty suburb close to town & not far from the magnificent gorge...just a tip, it's a good idea to have a car.
