Maricarmen and Pepe are welcoming and generous hosts! The place is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, and we could see the stars at night. Very responsive hosts for anything you need. They greeted us with a nice fire in the villa when we arrived, we felt right at home. Hope you be back soon!

Montse is a very kind and lovely host – she welcomed us and showed us around in a very heartwarming and friendly manner. The villa is truly amazing with a nice interior including many old decorations. The pool area also is great and has a nice bed right by the pool! Overall, we had an amazing stay and enjoyed ourselves very much. The nearby town of Cantoria is also a nice place to explore with many nice and affordable restaurants and lovely people. A small downside, if any, is that the whirlpool is not working properly and is only warmed by sunlight during the day. Unfortunately, the water doesn’t really stay warm as soon as the sun sets. But this was the only minor nitpick. Other than that, there were no issues with the house, and we had everything we needed! Full recommendation!

Zeer rustig en mooi gelegen villa, een perfecte vakantie om tot rust te komen. Juan is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Zeer proper en goed uitgerust zwembad! Wat ook heel leuk was is dat we al de groeten uit de eigen moestuin van juan mochten gebruiken. Niets beter dan vers en eigen teelt! De cortijo van Juan is zeker een aanrader!

Estuvimos en este alojamiento en la Alpujarra de Granada y fue una experiencia excelente. Son dos casas perfectamente equipadas, ideales para grupos o familias, como en nuestro caso que eramos dos familias, lo cual es ideal para estar juntos durante el día pero luego tener un espacio propio para descansar. La limpieza es impecable, y todo está muy bien cuidado. La piscina es un gran añadido, pero lo mejor en invierno es el jacuzzi con agua caliente, perfecto para relajarse después de un día explorando la zona, incluso lloviendo!. Los niños se lo han pasado en grande, con espacio para jugar y disfrutar. Las chimeneas son geniales para calentarse en estas fechas y funcionaban perfectamente y Martin fue un gran anfitrion respondiendo a nuestras dudas al instante. Además, es una ubicación ideal como base para conocer los preciosos pueblos de la Alpujarra. Sin duda, un lugar muy recomendable.

Jose is a fantastic host. He is friendly, approachable, and very much willing to help. He responds fast to questions and has some good tips for restaurants in the area. He even gave us a bottle of his own wine, which was very nice. The house is a little hidden gem: it's an authentic cave house, which is typical for the area of Guadix. It's great to experience a stay in such a typical house. The house is a few minutes from the main road, and it provides a lot of privacy. We would recommend everyone to stay here for a couple of days to relax, unwind, explore the area, and enjoy the hospitality of Jose! 👍☀️😎

We stayed at Cortijo Los Chinos from 27th - 31st December 2024. The house and surrounding area is an Oasis, an ideallic getaway for those longing for a few days of peace and quiet. You can cosy up by the fire place or go for a swim in the pool. We didn't use the pool on this trip but we will definitely be back in warmer weather. The house was very clean and comfortable. We were visited by a number of cats from neighbouring properties. They were very loving and cleanly kept and kept us company as we missed our own cats who had to stay at home. The grounds were full of orange trees and the oranges were lovely. I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere with more freshly squeezed orange juice. The owner Esther is lovely and was always very kind and courteous in all my conversations with her. 11/10 cannot rate highly enough! The best trip we’ve had in a long time.

Wir, mein Bruder und ich, waren zum Radfahren in Guadix. Die Unterkunft war für uns passend, da sie zwei vollwertige Schlafzimmer hat und auf einem abschliessbaren Grundstück liegt. Die Küchenausstattung ist vollständig und zweckmässig. Alle angebotenen Merkmale waren vorhanden und nutzbar.

100% recomendable! Hemos ido un grupo de amigas a pasar un fin de semana y hemos quedado encantadas. El alojamiento se divide en dos casas, sin embargo, las puertas están al lado lo que permite pasar prácticamente todo el rato juntos, además las casas se encuentran muy bien equipadas. Mario fue muy atento, nos pudimos comunicar rápidamente con él y nos recomendó un taxi local que te lleva a Granada en 20 minutos de forma económica. Muy felices de haber podido disfrutar de este gran alojamiento.

El lugar es realmente maravilloso si lo que buscas, es desconectar y pasar unos días conectando con la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, la casita tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar una estancia inolvidable, volveremos en verano para disfrutar de la piscina que es fantástica. anfitrión amable y atento!

Casa de campo muy agradable, con vistas muy bonitas y bien equipada, las terrazas y la piscina están fenomenal. Sin duda para repetir. Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia...Gracias Carmen y Miguel!!!!

s'il y avait 6 🌟 étoiles nous les aurions toutes mises ! Un séjour enchanteur ! Fran a un soucis du détail extraordinaire, réactif et aux petits soins... le lieu est exceptionnel en pleine nature avec le chant des oiseaux et le murmure de la cascade. Nous avons adoré faire des feux de cheminée... FRan et Alfonso aiment ce qu'ils font et ça se ressent. MERCI ! à vous 😘

Desde el primer minuto Ignacio, ha estado atento a todo lo que hemos necesitado. Maravillosa casa, en un lugar privilegiado del pueblo. Disfrutar del silencio de las calles ha sido un regalo y a un paso de fuentes de agua naturales y de rincones de un fantástico pueblo. Sin dudarlo, volveremos.

El Gato Negro is a beautiful gem. I felt so much at home here for solitude I was needing for a project I am working on. I became fast friends with Felipe, the Jaguar esque black cat that followed me down from the plaza. He became a daily visitor! The hiking here is sublime, and some are quite challenging if you want to test your climbing endurance. I really loved my stay here and hope to return to this charming village. This village has great restaurants and a good grocery store to cook if you don’t feel like eating out every night. I give this place 10 out 10!

hemos pasado un finde muy bonito en casa de Rosa. La casa tiene mucho encanto, está muy tranquilo pero al mismo tiempo a unos pasos del pueblo de Orgiva - y se puede llegar fácilmente y rápidamente a los pueblos con más encanto de la Alpujarra. La casa está tal y como descrita en el perfil, no nos faltó de nada y Rosa fue muy disponible para cualquier duda- repetiríamos sin duda! Muchas gracias Rosa :)

We have just arrived home from a wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Josefina.The House itself is a lovely traditional Spanish property with beautiful views and a fantastic, large pool.There was plenty of outdoor space and shade and even with six people there was also ample room in the house. The property had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The location is also an easy distance from both Granada and the coast so there is a lot to see and do. Juan was truly a fabulous host and one of the aspects that made the trip so enjoyable. He was in contact regularly before the trip and throughout our stay.He helped us so much and really went above and beyond-he found an instructor for our daughter to have swimming lessons in the pool at the villa at our request (Pablo-who is also fantastic!). He also booked horse riding for us in a nearby village (Padul,which again we recommend).Juan was always available to answer questions and help us with recommendations. He visited the property every few days to maintain the pool and garden but was completely respectful of our privacy and always agreed a convenient time so as not to disturb us. I could go on and on! But to conclude,a wonderful stay in a beautiful location and a really terrific host-we will be back!
