We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

The place was clean and well stocked. I couldn’t think of anything we needed to make our stay better. There was even beach gear outside for our use. Much appreciated!

We’ve stayed at several of the units in this same complex, Kelly’s was by far the nicest. Can’t beat the view of sunsets on the patio!

Amy and Andy are excellent hosts! I had so much fun. I was just a little disappointed in the wi-fi/internet connection but Andy is doing his best to correct it. This is my second time staying here and I will be coming back! I highly recommend it!

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

This apartment is very comfortable, clean and private. It is attached to the main house by a breezeway but the entrance is on the side so very private. You have access to the entire yard which is beautifully maintained with flowers and many bushes trees and plants. We enjoyed the deck a lot and although the house isn’t on the water you still have a nice view of the water. TV is super host and very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us extra treats that we enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you! And we would definitely love to come back next time we are able to get away.

The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

My absolute favorite airbnb ever ! This was the 3rd time I've stayed here, and if I could afford it, I'd go monthly. The location is perfect, right on the water, small private beach, lots of privacy and soooo incredibly relaxing. The house is very well laid out, super clean and comfortable. Keri provides more than most hosts, from the kitchen and bathrooms, to beach gear, movies, books, games, and the kayaks ! I love love love this house and location so very much. It feels like "my" home away from home and I'll continue to go back as much as possible. THANK YOU again Keri, for another amazing getaway !

We had an incredible stay here for three nights. The high-end kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for preparing meals at home. The beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge each night. The true highlight was the private beach—quiet and just steps from the house. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. Highly recommend if you're looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway!

A quiet neighborhood and waterfront. We really enjoyed the fire pit, the wide, open space inside and out and the comfortable beds and couches. The kayaks were a plus, along with the PacMan, air hockey and other games in the garage. We spent lots of time there! The house is close to Kilmarnock with all the big box stores and a hospital. An adorable Main Street also! We enjoyed our stay!

Mary Lou’s farmhouse in White Stone was the perfect place for a girls’ weekend with my Mom and my daughter. They have done an incredible job renovating and updating the house while still maintaining the historical charm of the farm house. As suspected, the screened in porch was our favorite area of the house and we spent much of our time there. The living room was also very comfortable and the decor is lovely. Lastly, Mary Lou’s local recommendations and quick response were excellent, couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!

Great getaway for a long weekend. Lovely nautical farmhouse decor, clean. Porch is wonderful. Fully fenced back yard made it great for travel with the dogs. The Local (coffee shop) and Social 77 in Irvington were great, so we did not take full advantage of the well appointed kitchen. Loved the large island. Relaxing, lovely stay. Easy to get in and out. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage by the water! The home itself is cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated — it felt like a true retreat. Waking up to the peaceful views of the water every morning was just magical. The location is perfect, with some fantastic restaurants just a short drive away — everything from fresh seafood to charming cafes. Heather was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!
