We had a great stay at Aroy’s place. He and his family are some of the nicest people we’ve met here in Peru. Aroy was always available and eager to help with anything we needed. It was tough acclimatizing after coming straight from Lima, but Aroy’s support made a big difference. The home is beautiful and has plenty of light during the day. The pit toilet took some getting used to, but you’re on a floating island so we couldn’t expect much more. We’re really grateful for the hospitality!

Excelente ubicación y hospedaje, lugar muy cómodo y privado, cuenta con todas las comodidades. Se disfruta de la naturaleza, tiene muy buena vista y una salida privada al lago, ofrece actividades extras para una estancia cómoda y divertida. El anfitrión está muy pendiente a todos los detalles, la comunicación fue rápida y eficaz, definitivamente volveriamos a hospedarnos ahí.

O apartamento é grande e fica no primeiro andar, acima da casa da Nádia. Tudo muito limpo e cômodo. Há 2 quartos e 3 camas de casal. Cozinha bem equipada. Tivemos problemas porque não havia água quente no chuveiro- o ponto positivo foi como Nadia e sua família entenderam e resolveram a situação. Há um lance de escadas para chegar ao apartamento. Pegamos dias frios e deve-se levar em conta que o apartamento é bastante frio e há cobertas o suficiente para dormir. Adoramos a culinária da cidade e recomendo o restaurante Mareas Ceviche y Mas- típico peruano com pratos grandes, preço justo e atendimento ótimo. Por fim, recomendo este apartamento e agradeço a gentileza da família (que está crescendo ❤️).

Gustavo's accommodation was just great! Everything you need is there. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating and electrical outlets. Also, the accommodation was super central and everything within walking distance. But what I liked most was the hospitality. I was even picked up at the bus station. I would go back to this accommodation at any time and recommend it to everyone.

We had a great stay. Jose Humberto was constantly available for any questions I had. He helped us check in last minute and helped us arrange a taxi and everything. The view on the terrace is amazing. we’re so glad we stayed. Thank you!

The location on the islands is fantastic and the cabana is stunning, exactly like the photos! Mayra was a very kind and helpful host who helped arrange activities and went out of her way to help us with a very early arrival. We are very grateful for her hospitality. I would highly recommend staying here to get a sense of life on the Uros islands in a comfortable and beautiful lodging.

There aren’t enough stars on the scale for this. Zeze went above and beyond with his helpfulness and willingness to show us around the farm, help us schedule activities, rides, food, and so on. Hes a natural travel guide who is hosting at an incredible farm . The animals are so wonderful and the place feels timeless . Communication was excellent. It’s extremely peaceful. It’s like you are back in the 1800’s , but without the work to do. This is a very, very relaxing and special place. I hope to be back some day!

Muchas gracias, Julio por permitir alojarnos ahí. La casa queda en un cuarto y quinto piso en un lugar muy céntrico de Puno. Todo estuvo lindísimo y fue más grande de lo que esperaba. Es un gran lugar con todas las comodidades que se requieren.

Very unique and peaceful location. In order to get there though you definitely need a 4×4. The place is very large and perfect for a group of friends, but also just for a couple. You will need to bring enough provisions for your stay, since there are no shops or restaurants in the area (including basic supplies such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc.)
