It’s an amazing airbnb, very clean, great interior, the surroundings are tropical and the view from the location is insane! Highly advise this airbnb to everyone when visiting Padang. The location itself is on a hill, but that makes it so special. Because it’s 200 m above sea-level you don’t need an AC which is very convenient for sleeping. And then as well the staff is so so so kind! Very carrying and making sure you are having a good time. There is also an option the get a ‘homemade’ dinner prepared with many options on a menu, we did that the first day and we felt immidiately at home. Overall, we loved it!!!

Our group of 8 recently stayed at this accommodation, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! One of the standout features of this place is its incredible location. Being within easy walking distance of several key tourist attractions made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. We loved being able to step out and immediately immerse ourselves in Jam Gadang. This saved us valuable time and transportation costs. The accommodation itself was perfect for our large group. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this accommodation to other large groups looking for a comfortable, conveniently located, and budget-friendly place to stay.

Tiffanie was so helpful and even had her uncle to assist us upon check-in. There were 11 of us staying at the house. It had an amazing view since it sits on top of a hill. There's a supermarket close by that u still need to drive to. Each room had its own bathroom and TV. There was no fan but the place was breezy and chilly enough that we didn't feel stuffy or hot. It was definitely a great place for my relatives and I go hangout together.

The room is very clean and the AC working properly, really helps when the city temparature becoming hot. The place also near to many coffee shops and local restaurant. Would definitely back to this place again.

Superbe adresse sur le lac Maninjau, emplacement de rêve, les pieds dans l’eau. Nous avons été reçus très chaleureusement par Eka et sa famille. Eka est exceptionnel pour sa gentillesse et son désir de rendre service, il est venu nous chercher à Parapat avec un ami à lui, ils ont fait l’aller/retour en 2 jours (16H30) de voyage à chaque parcours et ils ont été très prudents. Eka nous a aussi accompagné pour la prolongation de notre visa à l’immigration de Bukittinggi, ce n’était pas très simple, heureusement qu’il était là ! Il nous a conduit à Pallupuh afin que nous puissions voir une rafflésia en fleur. Le scooter qu’il nous a loué était de très bonne qualité ainsi, nous avons pu découvrir les environs de ce lac magnifique et sauvage, une belle étape dans un superbe environnement, ne pas manquer de passer chez Eka, nous n’avons qu’un souhait, c’est pouvoir y revenir au plus vite !!!

Ibuk Yenni at Pone Home made our trip unforgettable. Warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts, comfy, clean place, and fun karaoke sessions. She even lent us a motorcycle and personally ride me to must-see spots like Panorama, Lubang Japang, and Puncak Taruko. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Pone Home to fellow travelers seeking a blend of warm hospitality and strategic convenience.

Lovely traditional home stay with friendly hosts and delicious Padang meals. We got to experience rice planting, watching how Rendang is made, finding cinnamon and cocoa trees and seeing the kids fish for our dinner from the pond. The village is very scenic with pretty gardens by the rice paddies, framed by high peaks and a view of stunnning Mt Marapi and its daily puffs of volcanic smoke. We learn a lot about local culture and it is close to caves and other interesting sights

Second Hope ist eine super chillige Location. Es hat mehrere Zimmer, sodass man auch gleichgesinnte Reisende treffen kann. Von der überdachten Aussenterasse hat man einen super Panoramablick auf die Stadt und den Fluss (das Hostel ist etwas höhergelegen) Es gibt preisgünstige Imbisse und gekühlte Getränke, die man auf der Terasse genießen kann. Fussläufig sind Kneipen, Restaurants und Chinatown zu erreichen. Phillip und auch seine gesamte Crew sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Philipp organisiert auch preisgünstige Tagestouren per Boot oder zu einem Wasserfall. Für Weiterreisende zu den Mentawi Inseln ist die Unterkunft perfekt, da es zu Fuß zur Fähre nur etwa 15 Minuten sind. Nicht zu vergessen sind ein braver Hund und 2 kleine Kätzchen. Auf jeden Fall absolute Empfehlung!!!!

Cathy answered all questions right from the start and was super helpful. She was a great host , who even cooked dinner and lunch for us twice due to most stores closed during Ramadan. Her place was clean and felt like home. Pool was beautiful and we even went to Gunung padang hill .. highly recommend her place
