We took a girls trip to Bay St. Louis and this was the perfect place to stay! No more than 5 minutes from the most recommended restaurants, spotless, and the perfect pool with outdoor kitchen! Great and friendly communication with host. We will definitely be booking this home again in the future!

Fantastic location if you are active and like to walk. Easy walk to market, restaurants, drug store etc and not too far to heart of Frenchman and the Quarter. Cute yard and nice hot tub. Walls are somewhat thin but mostly very quiet when we were home and very quiet at night. Felt very comfortable and at home in this unit. Super clean!! King bed was sooooo comfortable. Loved so much extra bedding, pillows and blankets throughout. Great light!

What a great place to stay. We felt right at home and relaxed. Within walking distance to the beach. The hot tub was a great bonus for us after the long drive. It was nice to have a full kitchen to use and the washer/dryer so we didn’t have laundry to do when we got home. Definitely on our list to visit again. Karen was great to communicate with.

It was a beautiful property and home! Every detail was thoughtful from pool towels outside, sun screen, charged speaker, everything you could need in the kitchen, pool toys and floats, little outdoor fire table, comfy beds. It was super clean and smelled great! The most beautiful and unique backyard I could have imagined! My kids loved the super deep pool and hot tub and so many fun lights at nighttime! Easy drive to downtown New Orleans, nice and generally quiet neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants for anything you need! My only surprise was that the hosts live on the property, which wasn’t an issue as they were very friendly, I was just unaware! It was our first time in NOLA and staying here worked perfectly for our family of 6!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable. It was clean. The hot tub was wonderful. Outdoor sitting areas were a favorite. The golf cart was a lot of fun. And it’s close to the beach for long walks or lazing around.

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed to make our holiday gathering feel extra special. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made preparing our Christmas dinner a breeze, and the spacious layout allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. We especially appreciated the festive atmosphere and warmth of the home — it truly felt like our own little holiday retreat. Michael and Marcia were attentive and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Had a fabulous family Christmas vacation at this Airbnb! Wilson was the on site property manager/concierge and he was accessible, responsive, friendly and communicated wonderfully to any concerns we had. Bathrooms and kitchen were well done. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable with good bedding. Fun to stay in a famous chef’s previous home. Courtyard was wonderful - we spent a lot of time out there. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub was unavailable from our first day through our second to last day. That was a top amenity priority for me in choosing this property. Wilson, was diligent in getting it fixed and communicating about the status, however. I would certainly return here for future visits to New Orleans!

This villa was better than advertised. It comfortably accommodated everyone involved. It had excellent amenities, clean and private rooms, and a killer roof top. The property manger is exceptional and very accommodating. They were communicative and there when you need them. Very helpful in getting a second unit when our party size grew. High recommendation from us.

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

We loved our stay! We shared the cabin with another family and we had such an enchanted weekend there. The house is very comfortable and the big porch is incredible. The grounds were amazing, we loved exploring the cypress swamp, running in the woods and spending time up and down the creek. At night we built fires, star-gazed and enjoyed the hot-tub. Both the kids and adults had a great time.

We have stayed at several Airbnbs before, but never one like Timmy and Terese's. We immediately felt like family. Their generosity goes above and beyond. They were always willing to offer advised for things to do, places to go or where the best fishing may be. They had extensive knowlege of the area and always a good story to share. They truly wanted us to experience the Cajun culture and even shared some authentic Cajun meals with us. The pictures of the house and grounds don't do it justice. The house was clean and they made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool, the hot tub and the beatiful landscaping helped us relax and make the vacation more memorable. We went to their place with fishing and crabbing in mind. Timmy and Terese were always ready with recommendations on where to go. The choices are endless either in the bayou, the lakes or even in the back pond. We would definitely recommend this Cajun Paradise.

We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

My girls loved this place! The house had plenty of amenities, and the owner was very responsive with the few questions we had. Easy check in and Easy to find because the instructions are very clear and precise. Not to far to hit up New Orleans and Baton Rouge located right between them, and then get home to a peaceful location! Would definitely stay there again

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.
