We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

Ich habe mich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus wurde mit natürlichen Rohstoffen gebaut und ist sehr geräumig und schön. Maria hat uns immer sehr schnell geantwortet und weiter geholfen.

Como anfitriones estuvieron siempre pendientes! La casa se encuentra en muy buen estado (a/c, camas, wifi, cocina) y además tiene una vista espectacular. Regresaremos.

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! You are paying for the location. The location and the size of the property cannot be beat. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had a new sponge which hasn’t been the case at other Airbnbs. And the pool is quite nice! It would be nice if there were a few more kitchen amenities like lids for the pots and seasonings. It would also be nice if the trash in the yard was picked up in case there are children running around barefoot. There were some pop tops/bottle tops. But you cannot beat how close it is to the water. It felt like a private resort.

I loved that place. Stayed there for 2 weeks and was supposed to stay only for 1. Definetly a nice place to stay if you want privacy ! Daniel is awesome as well ! Loved him !

The location was great and close to playa Guasacate. The house was very spacious and the pool and outside areas are great for lounging. Karina was an incredible host with wonderful local recommendations and very responsive. We would book with Karina again anytime!

We loved our weekend at Dan’s - the view is truly stunning! The house has a unique blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that maximize enjoyment of the setting (upstairs balcony, front porch, and pool to gaze out at the ocean and then a side porch + back dining area to listen to the sounds of the forest!). Villa Tortuga felt private and secluded, but with the perks of being in the Villa Maderas community. AC worked well in the bedrooms and the ceiling fans kept the downstairs cool. We were able to walk down to the beach front restaurants at Playa Maderas and Juanita’s Kitchen (though be aware that it’s a fair amount of stairs) and also made the short drive to Machete for brunch. Road can be steep and bumpy so having an SUV helped. Dan was extremely responsive, flexible, and clear in instructions. Overall a great experience to disconnect and relax - we hope to be back!

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

la estancia fue agradable y amena. la piscina estaba refrescante y limpia. la casa contaba con todo lo que prometió. esto no tiene nada que ver con el anfitrión ni la casa pero como sugerencia lleva repelente de insectos para estar listo por la noche. por los mosquitos y uno que otro insecto adicional. Sobre todas las cosas la estadía nos encantó gracias

Everything was incredible with our stay the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very private and is fully Equipped. The pictures don’t do it justice although is a little far from Downtown is completely worth it. And the pet friendly aspect is definite plus. The view is breathtaking but I do Recommend if you are planning on going with a big group to arrive either with an SUV or a couple of vehicles. We will be returning again

Ce Airbnb a vraiment été le coup de cœur de notre voyage ! Il était encore plus beau que sur les photos, ce qui est rare. Tout était impeccable : très propre, bien décoré et super confortable. L’hôte a été incroyablement accueillante — elle nous a même aidés à réserver des activités et a accepté que nous arrivions plus tôt et repartions plus tard. Merci encore pour tout, on recommande les yeux fermés !

Super charming house in a quiet, safe part of town, only a two-minute (or less) walk to the center of town. We LOVED the colonial feel of the house and the plunge pool for that hot afternoon heat...chef's kiss. Ashley provided us with everything we could possibly need: AC, hot water, soap/shampoo (bc I definitely forgot to pack it), speedy Wifi, a fully functional kitchen, comfy bed...the list goes on and on. Julio was also amazing and very accommodating to our schedule. We loved this little gem in Granada so much we actually wanted to book another weekend...but it was already booked (boo!). I had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Cooper from the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Gabriel Zamora was incredibly communicative, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions I had. The space itself was exactly as described; clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. The private balconies and the kitchen ‘s stunning view was was breathtaking. The house wooden, charming vintage furniture, as well as its decorations really made the place feel special. I recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

A magical place for a relaxing stay away from the bustle in town. Nearby Playa Majagual is incredible, great for swimming as the little bay is quite protected, and El Ranchito, the restaurant run by Luis and his family, is awesome. Owner is very responsive. One of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Foi uma experiência incrível, que recomendo a todos (especialmente a quem surfa, tendo em vista as duas ondas “world class” localizadas dentro do condomínio).

Jan-Luc’s stay was wonderful. A very responsive and communicative host. My group of four had a great time. The stay is very walkable to town where everything is happening, but far enough away to feel separate when it’s time to rest. Great views from the rooftop and balcony. Would recommend!

A casa é maravilhosa, tem tudo o que você precisa para uma longa estadia, Elena é uma ótima anfitriã ela pensa em tudo, tinha até um adaptador de tomada o que foi muito útil, o banho é incrível, forte e quentinho, o fogão tem 6 bocas e todas funcionam, inclusive o forno. O forno eletrico usamos bastante, tem micro-ondas, tudo completo. Em relação a localização se você está de surftrip você estará longe de tudo, vai precisar de uma moto ou (4x4), não há uma estrada que ligue todos as praias, você terá que andar muito. Mas isso nada tem a ver com a casa , qualquer casa que você se hospedara situação será mesma, com certeza eu ficaria novamente hospedada na casa de Elena. E muito boa.

Jeffrey is a great host, He's super helpful and communicative. He make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. I had a good time starting at his place. The place is the newest one, it's clean, comfortable and pretty quiet. Especially for me, I want to get away from the noisy and busy life. Thank Jeffrey, thanks the sweet cake for my birthday.

Wir waren 5 Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus und genossen jeden Abend den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Städtchen San Juan Del Sur ist aber mit dem Motorrad oder per Taxi ganz einfach erreichbar. Wir können diesen ruhigen, schönen Ort sehr empfehlen und hatten vor Ort super Hilfe und Tipps bei Fragen.

It was a magical experience staying with Che. Beautiful bamboo cabañas and ours had a lake view. Che was responsive, helpful, generous and has lots of stories if you get talking. The gardens are exquisite and you’re allowed to pick your own herbs, ginger, turmeric and star fruit. If you are thinking about renting out one of his spaces, don’t hesitate, just book! It’s the most beautiful place my partner and I have ever had the luxury of staying. Can’t recommend enough.
