My husband, son and I would definitely stay here again! The house was extremely clean and we had all we needed. The yard was great and spacious and the dock was wonderful! Hope was extremely easy to communicate with and although we didn’t need to contact her for anything, it was obvious she would have made sure we were taken care of!

This was such a nice little stay! It was a bit chilly most mornings of our trip, but the enclosed porch was great for coffee and morning conversation. Beds were super comfy too!

Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings! We enjoyed our time here and felt very at home. Weather was perfect!

Kathy was an outstanding host very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better host and her property. Will definitely look her up when we return and as for there property we put our boats in the water when we arrive and never took it out the water other than to fuel out. The property was close enough to John C Landing that we went by water during practice and the tournament awesome place.

My husband and I loved this place on Goose River Reservoir. I picked it because it was on the water. It was peaceful and relaxing on the enclosed back deck. It is close to great stores and eateries. About 20minutes to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty for kids to do at the house. The Master bed was comfy and warm. Shower was awesome. What I liked: The house felt warm and cozy. I liked being on the river and listening to the bugs, squirrels and birds. We loved being on the back deck relaxing and drinking our coffee. House rules were not overbearing, but to just clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes left in the sink, take out trash and bring the towels down to the washer. I tried to sweep, but I didn't find a broom. I spilt coffee grinds, but was able to clean it up. Communication with the owners was great and quick response! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

It was a great place for our whole family. It checked all the boxes for everyone. Fishing was our #1 box, having the boat dock was wonderful. They didn't have to take the boat in and out of the water everytime they fished. The indoor swimming pool was great for the kids and adults because you didn't have to wait for warm weather. The pool table was fun for all and we could all hang together in the spacious area. The kitchen was large and clean with everything you would need. We all had a great relaxing vacation. Would highly recommend this place! Working with Ingrid was wonderful! She was extremely helpful and was available when we needed her. Would love to check out her other properties. Thank you for everything Ingrid!

We had a great stay at Monica’s place for a weekend getaway with family. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful place on the water near Charleston!

Plush and perfect. Loved every inch of this comfortable home. If you love to cook great prep space. Host responsive and always helpful. Will always try to stay here when in town.

We had an amazing time at Ashley’s beautiful home and will visit again. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. The Lake House has a pier to fish off and guys had a great time. We had a very relaxing stay in a quiet neighborhood in Cross, SC. We stayed for 3 nights and really wished we had stayed for the week.

Place was very nice. Convenient for our bass tournament. Carlos was an excellent host.

Very clean and spacious house with more than reasonable stocked items made us feel at home the minute we stepped in. Inside, tasteful furnitures and decoration gave us a cozy feel as if we are staying at my grandmother’s house. Outside, you can spend all day relaxed with the sounds of nature - water, wind, and birds. I tried kayaking for the first time. Water is calm, nothing else is around me except water. What a soothing experience! And the sunset is breathtaking.

The host was great and the place was as described. We had enough space for everyone to sleep. I wish we had more time to enjoy the water but our schedule did not allow.

Thank You for the hospitality! My wife and two young daughters really enjoyed our spring break at the lake house. Boat stayed in the water for early morning fishing and late sunsets. Great touches at the house with everything needed... overall a great stay w great family memories, thanks again!

This retreat is stunning and so peaceful! I stayed here with my bridal party before my wedding and it was a great time. The kayaks were so much fun!

We enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was provided. Excellent communication with the host, quick to respond. Fishing was a huge hit with the boys, we didn't have to leave the property, onsite dock was perfect! Would recommend this property for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

We loved it here. I felt safe in the neighborhood… neighbors were friendly! This is a very rural location, not much to do in town but we came to enjoy peace and quiet and some hiking at the national forest. It’s exactly what we needed.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we will continue to return. The access to the lake and private dock are amazing not to mention the size of the fenced in yard and the just comfort of the home itself.

Wow, what a beautiful home and setting. The large kitchen with seating around the large island allowed us to cook and talk while watching the kids in the living room. The open space on both 1st and 2nd floors made it easy to see the kids and stay connected no matter where you were. The rooms were spacious and lovely. The outside was peaceful and pristine. It was wonderful to relax and rock on the rockers on the porch, sit pool side, or sit at the fire pit. It was a chance to recharge. Joselle was a wonderful and gracious host. She responded quickly to any of our questions. We could tell she wanted to make sure our stay was memorable and it was, thank you. Would love to stay again in the future and highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at Carltons. The place is very special being so close to the nature. The house offeres everything that is needed. And the communication with Carlton was very friendly and helpful. We definitely come back!

We loved this place. The lake view was great to see. The host answered the few questions we had very promptly. The house was clean and had everything. We loved walking around down by the pier and also enjoyed hanging out by the pool, which also overlooks the lake. The book with instructions and notes was also super helpful. We had a very good stay and our family of 3 enjoyed this spot.

Absolutely gorgeous views!! Lots of amenities if you’re looking for a relaxed weekend with great views this is definitely the spot!
