Beautiful location and cottage is in great condition. Enjoyed the lake!

We had a wonderful time at Jennifer’s home. Her parents, Ed and Kay welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They provided wine and delicious snacks for us and also gave us passes to Rumbling Bald. The place is right on the lake and absolutely beautiful. The inside is much more beautiful than in the pictures, as it is tastefully decorated and good quality linens and towels were provided. They had every thing available that we could need, expensive toiletries and plenty of floats and kayaks. I can’t say i’ve ever stayed at an air bnb that was so thoughtfully appointed before. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

Tammy’s place was amazing! Probably the cleanest AirB&B I have resided in. Pictures don’t do the place justice! I would say you have to experience it to understand! The hospitality was off the charts and we even had welcoming snacks waiting on us when when we arrive even though we arrived late. It’s a great getaway that allows you to decompress from daily living. I would recommend this place to everyone! The only complaint that I had was that there was a South Carolina flag at the entrance but don’t worry I will bring a Georgia one the next time I stay! It’s a 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to come back!

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Great place to stay - a covered outdoor seating area with a great view is provided and the room is just as pictured. Very clean and quiet - just what we were looking for. We are very happy with our stay.

My friend and I had a really great time. She enjoyed spending time walking around the gorgeous property and up the mountain, and looking out over the scenery from the porch swing was perfect for me. Everything we needed in the kitchen was readily available. My friend and I were also impressed with the rooms...they rooms were beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay!

Libby was an incredible host who made this the very best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. And we’ve been to several over the years in the US and Europe. The house is centrally located and easy to find yet peaceful beautifully landscaped. It was quite thoughtfully furnished and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk through the front door, especially with the lovely welcoming note tucked into a crate of family-sized yummy snacks greeting you the minute you walk in. It’s truly a cook’s kitchen with excellent pots & pans, utensils, a plethora of small appliances and hard working major appliances. Lots of nice dishes, glasses and serveware were put to good use. We even made the icing and decorated my daughter’s wedding cake there with everything we needed (besides an offset spatula and turntable we brought!) The extra large dining room easily accommodated our extended family meals and we enjoyed the dock, canoe and floats. Truly a wonderful place!! Book it and enjoy!

Wow, one of the best stays. Our group of 10 had the best experience. The location is close to town. Very clean in every room. They truly had everything you could need.

We loved our time at the sweet little lake house on Lake Bowen, especially sitting on the gorgeous screened-in back porch watching wild ducks, geese, herons and the most breathtaking sunsets. It was the perfect getaway from a cold Maine winter. The house is adorable, neighbors lovely, and Brigitte was a welcoming, responsive and top-notch host. We couldn’t recommend her more as host!

We LOVED Waterfall House. My kids said it was the best vacation ever. The house was neat and clean and so comfortable. We felt right at home. The property was absolutely incredible. My kids said “This is better than Disney World!” So much to explore and just stunning. Brevard was an easy drive for an afternoon of exploring. We will definitely be back!

We loved this house! The lake setting was beautiful and the house was so cozy! They even had everything you could need to “move right in”… shampoo/body wash, every kitchen item you need, stocked fridge, serving bowls, games, blankets, so many EXTRAS!

What a great place. Brought the family for Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for everyone. Saw 4 bucks the day we arrived. We had fires, fished, played games and relaxed. Kitchen is very well stocked. Love the “second” kitchen. It sure helped with Thanksgiving. The whole house is. Thomas is a great host. Don’t hesitate to book. I bet it’s great in the summer.

Holly’s place is just great and what we were looking for. We were taking a birding trip and our first morning there a hummingbird flew right up to us. In the morning and at the evening around 6 PM, lots and lots of birds flying around in the backyard. We bought a hummingbird feeder and hung it from the porch. There were two hummingbirds that immediately visited the feeder many times each day. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Plus, Holly has the place so organized and functional to make it easy for her guest.

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

it was a wonderful stay and Joy was a great host. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The condo was very comfortable to stay in for 4 of us and has part of the lake right behind it which makes it serene. The check in was smooth , wifi worked without a problem , parking is right in front of the unit, the neighborhood is quiet, and hiking trails are close by. Important to know that you may have to drive a bit for getting groceries etc if you plan to cook dinners. Asheville downtown is about an hour away with 20 min of highway time and other 40 min is winding roads getting to the scenic community. That part of the drive is quiet dark after sunset. Overall, it's a great place for R&R, and Joy is a very warm and responsive host - we would love to come back again soon. Thanks Joy.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.

We've visited this area several times and this location is our favorite. This place is at the end and quiet. The deck is a great place to sit, relax and drink your coffee in the quiet morning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom, while small, was adequate and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed us to cook and warm up the local BBQ (try it!). The owner was very easy to communicate with.

This was our second stay in this space. Everything was great and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Soo much to do! we were very surprised at all the amenities. We will definitely come back. We enjoyed the amenities so much we didn't leave the resort to see the area.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a family reunion with our twin 6yo daughters. It was cozy so I would say that more than two adults would find it difficult to share the space unless you only needed a space to sleep. The place was clean, had a lovely porch to enjoy the lake views, and was very comfortable.
