Where do we start? We were so delighted with our stay! Can we give it more stars? The Atlashouse was a lovely spacious retreat in the woods, with an open floor plan, large bedrooms, and modern sophisticated baths. A covered front porch with rocking chairs for watching the sunset on a mountain night, and a screened-in porch off the back, perfect for morning yoga sessions. Everything you will need is provided, like towels near the back door for the hot tub - which, by the way, so nice on a cool evening! The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas and table for games and fun, perfect after a day playing in Dahlonega. We look forward to a return visit to this lovely home.

Relaxing and refreshing!

SUCH a beautiful home! We had the most wonderful time. The hosts were super communicative, kind, and helpful. And the home was more beautiful in person!!! Would recommend!!!!

Great place. Very relaxing after having business meetings in the ATL metro area all week. Will definitely be back when I am in the area again.

Melissa did a great job of cleaning. The hot tub did not work for a little, but she fixed it by the morning. Very cute place. Great stay.

Great city escape spot. Extremely peaceful, is a beautiful cabin in the woods with all amenities you need to have a good time. You can have up to 10 guest comfortable. One suggestion is to do your grocery shopping before arriving :)

What a great place to stay. This treehouse is way more than the description or pictures. Definitely reccommend this unit. Abbey is a perfect host thank you for the privilege to stay there.

Charming cabin perfect for a quiet family getaway.

There are super hosts and then there’s Chris. The house was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nightly endeavor. The game room was our place to chill with a great TV, ping pong table and a console arcade game with what seemed like 50+ choices. All that said what set this place on a level all by itself was the host…Chris!

Great location/house, host very helpful and responsive! Take advantage of the Lake and provided equipment.

This place was GREAT for our long weekend! We could have stayed and never left the cabin and been just fine. The location is great. We ventured to Dahlonega and Helen during our stay. The cabin is funky and fun, lots of great touches to help you feel at home! My kiddo loved the bright colors, the board games, and the smores pack that greeted us. The drive way is a bumpy dirt road, but totally worth it- secluded and quiet just as described! We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful oasis in the foot hills of northern Georgia. We could not have asked for a better quick getaway weekend retreat. The only thing that would have made our stay better was more time. We enjoyed lounging on the large deck warming to the fire pit after our round of golf on 1 of 3 beautiful 9 hole course. We also appreciated the recommendation by our host to eat at "Home" the restaurant right outside the gates of Big Canoe. The staff was really accommodating and the food was outstanding. Other activities not to miss include fishing on the lake and catching the Amicolola falls about a 25 minute drive away. The house was spacious and well appointed in a very peaceful setting. Frank was accommodating and very responsive throughout our stay. We look forward to returning some time in the future!

The views make this place incredible! The house is older and has mostly new furniture, linens, and is very well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms reminded us of childhood in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend this as an awesome and affordable getaway.

We stayed at Blue Door while on a business trip, on our time off explored the downtown area several of the days. We were pleasantly surprised by this home, it was much better than we anticipated. Kim, the host was very responsive, helpful, and thought of everything that one may want while staying at the home. It was extremely sanitary and every room including the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. The neighborhood is safe, conveniently located, and the downtown area is so quaint. We had every amenity while we were at the home and everything that was needed to enjoy our stay. Kim really thought of everything! We are use to cooking homemade meals, so having a fully stocked kitchen with nice, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. was definitely a huge plus. Linens were fresh, clean, and smelled great. We will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy the small town of Dahlonega, maybe Christmas, as we hear it is spectacular place to be. Thanks Kim!

Awesome stay! My only negative is that we were in town to see family and did not get a chance to enjoy all the rental had to offer. We never got a chance to play ping pong or just sit down on the dock and enjoy a sunrise. Next time!

This Airbnb was amazing! The host went above and beyond, making the stay truly memorable. We had a great long weekend over the summer in Big Canoe. The house was perfect for my family and children. Appreciated the well stocked coffee bar as well as all the entertainment and games for my kids and family. It was the perfect size for what we needed. Tammy was very helpful and responsive.

Greatly enjoyed the cabin and it's ease to enter/exit. The drive way was great as there is no need to back in or out. The place was clean except for some old bread left in plastic bags on top of the refrigerator. Other than that (which is being very picky) the place was off the charts. Great TV, furniture, comfortable bed. I have absolutely no complaints. Sincerely hope to return there!

The location is excellent! It is out of the Atlanta traffic but close to grocery stores and restaurants. Perfect for a couple or a couple with up to 2 kids. We took our granddaughter to the zoo, aquarium, Lego store, Bethsaida Aquatic Center (which has a lazy river, water slide, and kids' water play area), Gwinnett Environmental Center (which has a small free kids' play area inside, and lots of trails), and Cherokee Bluffs, which has a great nature trail and playground. If you like Airbnbs because you can cook instead of going out, the kitchen has pretty much everything you need. The porch, with its rocking chairs, is a great place to relax after a busy day.

This place was such a peaceful getaway, and I will definitely be staying again!

This place was perfect for our family. There was a ton of space and the kids were fully entertained between the aracade games, air hockey, and games. The kids even got to play with some of the kids in the neighborhood. Loved all the outside spaces set up to enjoy the views and fresh air. Kicthen had everything we needed and more! The host was very responsive and accommodating. Home has a steep driveway with a leveled off carport at the top and route to the house is what you would expect getting to a home in the mountains. Would definitely return and with everything offered this place was outstanding for the price! Zero complaints and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway.

We loved this cabin! It was beautiful inside and outside with lots to do. The views were incredible, although the second day there was dense fog so we didn’t see the mountains again until checkout… but that’s just the risk you take with a mountain home so high up in the winter. We still had a wonderful time just cozying up by the fire and the basement ping pong table and arcade table gave my kids hours of entertainment. Highly recommend!
