Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Evergreen with our family of 4. The surrounding land is stunning - naturally beauty that is worth the stay alone! The cabin feels like going to a great camp in the mountains...the rooms are large - every room is spacious and comfortable. It is an older property with a sense of history - feels like a family home. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens for the beds - and extra quilts. The property is rural but not a far drive to Tuxedo or Hendersonville for groceries. We also went apple picking at a near by orchard! It is probably equally beautiful in the spring when the trees and bushes are in bloom.

We had a great stay the the Azalea lake cottage. It has a huge covered front porch for sitting and reading, a wonderful updated kitchen and main bathroom. The fenced back yard was wonderful for our dog. The den was very comfortable with a great flat screen TV for watching a movie when we arrived home after a day visiting with family. Beds were very comfortable. The cottage was super clean everywhere, as well as the numerous huge windows. We also liked the back patio where the French doors opened out from the kitchen, with comfy outdoor seating there. Everything was easy to use, and there were clear written instructions when needed. We really loved it and plan to book in the future when visiting family!

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

I am happy to leave an "A+/5-star" rating...this, from a former professor who knows all about grade inflation. From start to finish, the hosts were welcoming. The accommodation is exactly as described and lovely. What did NOT receive a 5-star rating was the fact that I got caught in the horrific hurricane that blasted through the area. That said, the house was secure with nary a leak and safely above any low-lying area. Even with no electricity or phone for 3 days (luckily the water stayed on and my hosts had left a supply of filtered water), the ability to sit on the front porch, read from various books, and even work a jigsaw puzzle by daylight meant the days went by rather uneventfully. In fact, it was not until I was able to evacuate that I learned of how destructive this storm has been. Thanks to Anna and her sisters for reaching out when they could, and bringing extra water just in case. I hope to return in better times and would be happy to stay here again.

Great location on Lake Lure. Quick access to the central part of the lake. Inside the house is on the small side but outdoor decks provide plenty of space to spread out. Everything you might need to enjoy your lake stay is provided, including the option for an on-site boat to rent. Parking is tight for larger vehicles - would suggest more compact size cars for easier maneuvering on street/parking area.

This is a lakeside cottage/cabin built in 1950 and subsequently updated. It met our expectations of rustic coziness and modern bathroom/ kitchen. The screened porch overlooking the lake was a highlight. It is evident that this rental is enjoyed by the owners and there are many touches that show they have actually stayed there and thought about what is needed. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels. A highlight for us was using the kayaks. Early morning on the lake is peaceful and there isn’t much traffic on this little bay. We had four adults, so having one shower was not a problem. We had read the description and reviews and were prepared for the stairs. Many houses on this bay are built on the side on a steep embankment and have long staircases. Also, the property manager was responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Little gem. Only weakness was the TV is a bit older and the internet bandwidth isn’t consistent. Cell service is weak up there too, so be aware of that. But if you want to truly unplug and enjoy nature, especially during the warmer months, this place is a treat. The owners have put a lot of intentionality into the place and accommodating the stay of their guests. Overall, wonderful.

Very peaceful place! Clean and comfortable! Joey was responsive and communicative! Nice neighborhood. We took a trip to the Aviation Museum in Hickory, great experience! Walked some local falls. Granite falls is a cute little town and Hickory was wonderful to explore! We had JD’s Smokehouse, great BBQ! Nice get away! Great set up!

We went to Lake Lure to get away and relax for the weekend. We knew that Lake Lure wasn’t 100% back and we were okay with that as that meant it would be less busy and more relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the Cardinal Cabin was as described. The host was very helpful and had great communication despite being on vacation in a foreign country. We would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect retreat for our family! We travel to the mountains multiple times a year and have stayed at many places and this by far has been the best thus far! We will definitely be returning! Thanks for being such amazing hosts!

My family (2 adults & 2 children) took out a few days in Tryon for Spring break (March 2025). Firstly, the location and home were exactly as shown online. The location is extremely private and there was no wear and tear which made all of us feel like we were home from home. The bedrooms (3 in total) were large and spacious, the kitchen well stocked with basic sundries which allowed us to cook every night. Spending time together with breathtaking views was icing on the cake. The winner was the games room in the basement which we spent numerous hours at - pool table, giant Jenga, card game etc. Off the games room was a lovely hot tub which overlooked the mountains which was thoroughly used by all of us. Peter was extremely responsive to questions and super helpful which made us feel extremely looked after. I would highly recommend this location and I am sure we will be back again!

The home was very comfortable and convenient to the areas I was visiting. I was very pleased with the home and with Linda's communications and help.

Sarah's place is lovely and quiet, overlooking the golf course and a view of the mountains. The neighbors were delightful, which added to the charm of our stay. The place was comfortable and spacious. Great to have the extra room and bath on the lower level, which makes it even more private. If you're looking for a place in the mountains near a lake, would recommend.

This house is amazing. Very comfortable beds , all bedrooms had king beds and two extra full beds in the “basement “. Kitchen well equipped too. Two grills - gas and charcoal. And an outdoor area for fireplace !

This house was very convenient for horse showing at TIEC. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking quick meals, and the beds were comfortable. Gray was super easy to communicate with and always very helpful. Will definitely keep this place on my favorites list for next time.

Loved staying in this well appointed condo with lovely finishes and amenities. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time spending a few nights here over Spring Break with our kids! Brandi was incredibly helpful and responsive with anything we needed. She even kept us in the loop with local information on burn bans with the conditions being so favorable for fires to catch. The place was very clean and we all had a blast! One thing I'll note for other families with small children. The spiral staircase is the only method inside of getting from the main floor to the basement. Our youngest needed a lot of supervision, even with the door closed, to make sure he didn't slip down or fall from the top ledge. It's definitely not a deal breaker, just something I wish I would've paid a little more attention to when reviewing photos of the listing.

This was my second time staying here. Chris is always very nice and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying a third time ! Thank you Chris for allowing me to stay in this wonderful home !

The home was very comfortable. The kids loved the playroom with all its games and activities. We all loved the fire pit and enjoyed having s’mores in the evenings. The kitchen was very well appointed which was great because we did a lot of cooking. We were also able to take advantage of the amenities at the club. All around a great stay!

Nice place, and area. Had a few issues with the place and maintenance tried to fix them but couldn’t. Communication was good.

Sunset Paradise was a beautiful location! The driveway was hard at first for us flat land peeps but became easier. The Kitchen was outstanding, clean, lots of room along with ajoining living room. Bedrooms were perfect for our needs (10 people including small kids) along with clean bathrooms. Kimberly responded fast when I asked simple or complicated questions and came to property to bring new propane for fire pit! This area had been part of the Hurricane Helene destruction, but roads are open and we went to Tryon, Hendersonville, and Asheville. Only draw back was the lake was cloudy and mucky, plus plenty of debris....but also noted small barges getting debris out. Nice rental!

Alisa’s place was BEAUTIFUL! It was perfect for our family getaway. We look forward to coming back when the lake is open.

My family loved this rental! The open kitchen/living room was fabulous for my family of 8! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook plus extras! The walking path was great for the kids and the public pool was perfect. We will definitely be back!
