Christine & Rebecca were very kind and always provided quick and useful answers to all our questions. 5 stars landlord The house is super big, organized and has so many amenities to entertain yourself, no matter how is the weather outside. Would definitely consider to return in a near future for a gateway with my friends.

Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

My sister did a last min booking an hour before we arrived and Jess was super accommodating! everything was lovely and it was exactly what we needed for a little wellness getaway! we even extended our stay another night because we were soo relaxed and happy with the place and location! I highly reccomend staying here.

We had an amazing time in Bala for March Break! This was our first visit to Bala, but our fourth year booking an Airbnb with our best friends, trying out a different space each year. The house was perfect for our group of four adults and four kids, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic for unwinding after a day of fun. We all loved the pool table and foosball table—plenty of friendly competition! The quaint, walkable streets made it easy to explore the local shops and cafes. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for a cozy getaway!

We had a lovely weekend. Visiting family and celebrating a milestone birthday. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate in order to get outside but a lovely stay. We did not want for a thing. Thank you Steve

We had a great time at Patrick’s cottage, the location is great, within walking distance from the beach, it’s exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cozy and peaceful A-frame! The cabin is beautifully equipped with everything you could need (well stocked kitchen, soft linens and plentiful blankets), and the thoughtful touch of having a fire ready for our arrival made us feel instantly welcome. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with lovely trails right around the property that made exploring so easy and relaxing. Kelly was a fantastic host—she shared great local recommendations for additional hikes that we really enjoyed. One of the best parts was being able to bring our dogs along; they had the best time exploring the area and watching the ducks by the water. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet and cozy escape into nature!

Always a wonderful experience staying here (third time!). Clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. Randy is accommodating and easy to get ahold of for any questions or concerns as well. Looking forward to future stays here!

Our stay was great! The airbnb was so cozy- it was the perfect winter getaway with the fireplaces and cozy atmosphere of the home. Our host was great and we even extended our stay an extra day because we loved it so much! We highly recommend going to the local museum (it’s a bit hard to access the lake in the winter from our experience because it snowed a bunch but there’s still lots to do). Would definitely go again!

Carla’s place is one of the best Air BnB’s I’ve seen, and I’ve been renting places for years! From the moment you open the door, you’ll find the place is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, warm and inviting. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a super comfortable stay. Curling up on the couch with a good book by the wood burning fireplace in the living room while it’s snowing outside is a special experience. There’s also a great fire pit in the completely fenced backyard which is excellent for the pups! And a 5 min walk to the beach. Carla was always prompt to reply to any messages and very accommodating. It is evident Carla is an experienced host and makes her guests comfort a priority. I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!

Wir waren für 10 Tage Anfang November 2024 in dem Ferienhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber und das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet. Die Lage direkt am See ist traumhaft. Der Stellplatz für den Mietwagen ist auf dem Grundstück direkt vor der Tür. Die Kommunikation mit Aksnay war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm.

Thank you Avisa for hosting us. Our family came over to visit from Ireland and we had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was beautiful, looked exactly like the photos. The family really enjoyed it. It was very spacious and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided and the kitchen is well equipped to cook up a meal. The games room was huge it kept us all entertained and the hot tub was very relaxing. We really had a great stay and we will be back for sure for another stay. Thank you very much!!

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Matt is great to deal with. The cottage was awesome and Dave the neighbour is super helpful and nice. Don’t be scared of river crossing it was smooth and seamless and made everything even more fun. Matt is a good guy and helpful with anything that comes up. The property is full of hiking trails and has awesome water access, great fishing, beautiful spot for a coffee in the morning. The deck is perfect for watching the sunset and the screen room is a great getaway if a little rain rolls through. All in all I’m extremely pleased with my stay in all aspects. Highly recommend.

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

This cottage was beautiful! A great trip to Tobermory, close enough to the main strip and the national parks. The view was great and we saw different wildlife as we came and went. We came in a cooler season, but heaters worked well and we enjoyed the sunroom a lot. Gencay was very helpful and responsive to any questions. Definitely recommend and even consider booking it again in the warmer weather!

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful and enchanted escape. The hot tub was well maintained and a new sauna looked into the wooded backyard . We felt cosy and at home as soon as we arrived, especially after lighting the woodstove. Loved that everything was so clean. Bed was ultra comfortable and nice linens. The sunroom was a nice space and we were able to spend a bit of time in there despite the weather. Unfortunately it was the weekend of the ice storm so not as full a stay as we hoped but still got to do some hiking in the area and the views of everything encased in ice were spectacular. There is a lake at the end of the road, nice view and calm. Would recommend.

Perfect spot for a perfect family weekend. We had everything we needed right down to beach towels, matches and firewood. The sunsets and views are great. Do pack water shoes for the rocky beach and area attractions but most everything else is available at the cottage! Little current, Mindemoya, hiking trails and bridal veil falls were all a short driving distance. Monique was very helpful. Her personal touches for our stay made it that much more special.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything one might need—from small essentials to those little touches that really make a difference. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space comfortable and convenient. Whether it was the extra toiletries, kitchen basics, or even just how organized everything was, every detail was well thought out. Moreover they were very responsive over messages throughout our stay. Also its right by the water and so peaceful.

Love the place. Beautiful, clean, calm and comfy. I went there eith my wife, toddler, and another family of 4, and a friend. Everyone enjoyed this cottage stay. For most of us, this is our first time staying at a cottage. We're lucky our first was such a great one. Susan and Peter were such great hosts. He even offered us to get in the boat showed us around islands and river. We went all the way to Recollet Falls. We were also lucky enough to see up close the fox that visits the cottage almost morning. The boat ride and the fox were the best moments of the whole stay for sure. Recommended 100%
