The house was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, spacious, and sparkling clean, it made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! The location is wonderfully peaceful, nestled so close to the Remarkables mountain range. We enjoyed the incredible mountain views every day, rain or shine. Although it was only early April, we were lucky enough to see snow-capped peaks for several days during our stay. The view was breathtaking—almost surreal—with the mountains so close, it felt like we could reach out and touch them! We also highly recommend the 30-minute scenic drive up to the Remarkables Ski Area. It’s a great base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of town. Our 11-year-old son loved the two fantastic playgrounds nearby, and there’s a beautiful walking/cycling trail too—perfect for the whole family. The house is very attractive and easy walking distance from the waterfront and shopping. The downside is that it is on a very busy road with lots of traffic noise, but it was made worse by a road closure so that may not be everyone's experience. Sharon was very helpful and responsive. her area recommendations were thorough and we used a few of them while we were here.

We had a lovely stay here at Sararose’s place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and stunning lake views. The place was clean and tidy on arrival and had everything we needed for our family. The fireplace kept the home warm and cosy, and the spacious kitchen was perfect for a short stay. The kids were intrigued watching planes all day long. The TV was a little finicky to operate, but having access to Netflix and YouTube was a nice bonus. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

We recently enjoyed 7 days in Queenstown and at Patricia's place. Great location, great views and an easy walk into town. That said the walk back to the house is up a very steep hill with stairs - which was a challenge for my 75 year old Mum. The kids though - 9 and 6 years old - both loved running up and down the hill and stairs so that's a positive. Many tourists stop at the top of the stairs to take a photo of town. The house was clean and the kids in particular loved the huge TV in the lounge room. There is a bit of street noise as the house is located on a thoroughfare used by most to get from one side of town to the other but it didn't bother us. We didn't use the hot tub. When originally booking, I did not comprehend that there is only one toilet. Possibly was thrown by the description of '1.5 bathrooms' when really it's just one toilet and shower. Otherwise, our group of 5 really enjoyed the house and location and would stay there again when back in Queenstown.

Fabulous location and stay! We spent 4 very happy days here. The heat pump kept us warm and it was great to have a washing machine. Excellent shower pressure 👍 Everything was clean and well presented. The view of the lake was amazing and the location peaceful.

Martin’s place offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It’s about a 15-minute walk into town, which was a bonus given the current traffic and parking challenges in Queenstown. We especially appreciated the electric Weber BBQ - it worked brilliantly. Thanks for hosting us, Martin!

Great place to stay for a family. Within walking distance to the town centre in a beautiful and quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Jacqui's place for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our time there. We were able to get a check-in 2 hours earlier than scheduled and it was really helpful for our itinerary. Definitely a lot of careful work has been done to make the house look like home and the end result is a very beautiful place along with crazy good views of the surroundings. Walking distance to the center of the town is a bonus. Would highly recommend the place!

Best view in all of Queenstown...wow! We spent 9 nights at this beautiful apartment in a quiet residential area in the hills above Queenstown. Furnishings were stylish and very comfortable. Location is central to all there is to explore in Queenstown and the surrounding areas (Arrowtown, Ayrburn, Arthur's Point, Frankton). Hosts were always responsive. Fully appreciated having laundry on site as well for our extended multi-month wander through New Zealand.

After roadtripping across the north and south islands, we spent 2 days at Bonnie's place and decided to spend a bit more to get a truly great place. This place exceeded our expectations and the photos don't prepare you for the view and set up. I think this place is excellent value for money and worth every penny. Bonnie is a great and proactive host. Highly recommended, we loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spotless and very well maintained. The breathtaking views made it even more special, and the location was perfect , easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Tim was an excellent host, communicating promptly and making everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!
