This cabin oasis was exactly what we needed, providing great proximity to Olympic National Park, beautiful mountain views, a great town with shopping and dining, and even a ferry traveling to Victoria Canada. We would absolutely love to stay here again and an added bonus was the large TV in the bedroom, which was not pictured, but a welcome surprise and nice way to wind down after a day of adventures - and the bed! possibly the comfiest bed I've ever slept on, with a plethora of pillows, which can be scarce at some hotels and air BNBs. The covered back porch, hot tub, grill, and fire pit were also extremely appreciated and handy to have. 10/10, it was honestly hard to leave!

Excellent place on Lake Sutherland for a family. Beautiful location on the lake with hot tub on the dock. Great location to access Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. Know that there’s 70 stairs down to the house which can be tough in the rain or dark.

Such a wonderful experience at their treehouse, can't wait to come back another time~. Hosts were accommodating and responsive!

Loved this place, had everything we needed for the weekend. Perfect location, easy place to find and had nearby grocery stores in case we needed it. The pool table was a nice touch, we definitely had fun with it. Would definitely recommend/ come back again.

This cabin was very spacious, had high ceilings and many windows looking out to gorgeous views. The beds were very comfortable and the whole places was incredibly well stocked. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting as did the dining table on the deck looking toward the mountain range. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful lake house with a hot tub! The surrounding area has some of the state's best hikes and when your done, chill by the lake or take out a kayak for even more fun 😁 Close to food and shopping, this rental is a must if you plan to visit the area

Great location with easy access to the park and to the shops and restaurants in Port Angeles. The house is in a very quiet area and has everything you need. As stated in the property description and reviews, there is no cell service and the WiFi is slow to the point that it has limited use.

Couldn’t imagine the better location, the bathtub is fantastic, the DVD collection is solid, would recommend to my friends going forward!

After driving and staying at hotels, this cabin was a welcome change of pace. The space was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. The cabin was well stocked, but not cluttered. The kids enjoyed the tennis court and the location was a great spot to use as home base while exploring the olympic peninsula. We would stay here again.

This was one of the best AirBnB’s we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we relaxed & felt right at home. Cozy log fires, sunlight, privacy, beautifully styled & everything we needed to cook up a feast. Thank you John & Melanie if only we lived closer we would make this an annual booking ☺️☺️☺️

One of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. The place was absolutely spotless, with a well stocked kitchen and great location just 10 min drive from Rialto Beach. Private, secluded and peaceful yet easily accessible. And finally, Carol was a great host and super responsive and gracious. Would happily stay there again!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Lake Sutherland and the Mallard Cove location is perfect. This location is ideal for a blend of hiking and visiting Port Angeles. The cabin is perfect for couples who are looking to get away and cook dinner at home. Great kitchen set up and super nice grill. We can’t wait to come back in the summer for kayaking and other outdoor activities!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. The view was breathtaking, with the cabin nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Crescent. It was incredibly calm and peaceful—just the kind of escape we were looking for. The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with all the essentials. One of the highlights for us was the cozy collection of books, which kept our kindergartener happily engaged during our stay. Its location is ideal—close to some amazing trails and plenty of outdoor activities. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature.

Very comfortable, clean cabin in a beautiful, convenient location. Comfortable fold-out sofa bed and spacious rooms. Only downsides: cabin doesn’t get much natural light and even with interior lighting, still felt a bit dark. Also, a Keurig coffee machine would be a much-appreciated amenity to add!

This is the perfect cabin, exactly as one would imagine a wood cabin in the forest! Amazing location, right on the river, could not be more peaceful! We loved sitting on the porch with our morning coffee. Cabin is just the right size, had ALL the amenities one could need and it is in a great location to access all kinds of activities. None of us wanted to leave!! I would go back in a heartbeat :)

Super cute little cabin in the woods. I would recommend to anyone who wants to be near the beaches but also near forks and get a good Twilight feel. Deanne was also very communicative and helpful.

Wow- a forest bathing paradise! We had to miss our first night due to a medical emergency, but were able to check in for the second night and we were so glad we did! What a lovely, healing space! We were so cozy in the bed during a chilly night and adored the sauna and outdoor shower with hot water. And the book of poetry by the bedside felt like it was placed there just for me. Just what we needed after a stressful 24 hours. We would come back in a heartbeat and have already recommended to family/friends in the area.

Loved our stay in the rustic cabin on hood canal. You can tell this place is thoughtfully cared for by the owner and my son and I felt right at home.

Very sweet place! The garden cabin was so cute, clean and cozy. There was music in the barn and a sweet little cafe stand. I would highly recommend this for your next stay.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Cozy inside and a private outdoor balcony. It was a quick drive into Port Angeles for groceries or restaurants and also had great access to the national park.

We thought three days would be too long, but in the end, we felt we barely scratched the surface of all the fun things to do at the cabin and surrounding areas. There are so many beaches to explore, we went fishing in Seiku, hiked around Cape Flattery and enjoyed dinner in Neah Bay at Mr. Lee's. The property is a wonderland with maintained paths throughout the lush forest, lake, and river. Our kids had a blast roaming around and exploring. We were pleasantly surprised to find some rough-skinned newts swimming around the lake's edge. How cool! We look forward to returning. This place is a gem.
