We love staying here! It is so private, peaceful, cozy, and perfect for what we look for in a little vacation. Joannah is a great, responsive host. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. She leaves tons of local recommendations for you to discover. The hot tub on the river is exactly what we needed and look forward to! We’ve been back a few times and will hopefully return.

Very great place to stay, extremely cozy and warm feeling. We loved the hot tub and the fact they had a grill and a nice kitchen for cooking. Only a short drive from Ludington and Manistee as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Diamond in the ruff natures beauty at its best great veiws hiking trails fishing lovely little get away tucked in manistee national forest would highley recommend this cabin we even stayed extra and he made it happen with no problems great host great property we would buy it for a vacation home if i went for sale.. book it you will love it...

The cottage was fitting for our two families. There was ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. We had fun with the games provided.

Our stay at Frank's place could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. The inside was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We liked the spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area, nice furniture, and comfortable beds. But we especially enjoyed the large front deck, huge umbrella that kept us shaded, pocket views of the lake, grill/griddle combo, outdoor shower, and having the pickleball courts a short walk away. Frank is a super friendly and very responsive host. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, which we did! We look for to renting from him again next year for 2 weeks! Thanks for everything, Frank!

We had a great stay at Amanda’s place. The outdoor space was incredible. We enjoyed the comfortable, spacious deck, fire pit and wonderful lake. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus! Amanda was a great host, very responsive and thoughtful. Her home was very clean and peaceful/quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. One thing to note, you do have to pass through the smaller bedroom to get to the master bed and the bathroom is located in the smaller bedroom. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

The cabin was in a private location, it was quaint and cute, and it even came with a group of feral cats that live on the property that were very sweet!! Soaking in the hot tub was by far our favorite part, but enjoying nice warm nights inside by the wood stove was a close second! I would definitely book this place again 😊

Krista's Cabin #5 (and the whole place in general) is really nice! It's a beautiful property that is perfect to getaway. The cabins are perfectly in-between the right amount of outdoors and cabin in the woods feeling while still being a bit nicer. It's the perfect mix as many cabins we found were too renovated and too modern. We wanted to feel like we were in a cabin and that's exactly what we felt like! The grounds are cool and entertaining, the lake front is nice, the lodge is always neat to have a "community center" like that. It was the perfect cozy getaway that we wanted for our weekend. It was so comfortable and relaxing. If you live anywhere around people, get out here to this property and take a break!

Very clean, supper easy to talk to for questions and check in/out. Really nice to just relax and supper close to snowmobiling/atv trail heads and close enough to stores

We loved this get away spot. We are familiar with the area and this is very well located to get to area restaurants and other points of interest. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views. We will be back!!

this is our second stay at bushwacked and Kaitlin makes it a great stay from super communication to going the extra mile its always better than we expect!

Had a great stay with my four kids. Perfect size for three teens, 9 year old, and myself. The cabin was clean, looked brand new, and had a nicely appointed kitchen. Only a 15 minute drive to Caberfae where we skied for two days. Nice to come back to the warm cabin and cook a nice meal. We were so comfortable!

Wonderful place to stay. The check in process was very easy for my first time staying at an Airbnb. The bedrooms, kitchen, living and linens were clean. I would definitely stay here again when I visit this area again.

Cute cabin on the Pere Marquette River! Nice view of the river off the deck and in the living room. The location was great for us as we were fishing the fly fishing only section of the river at the Green Cottage Acess which was only 4 miles away. For those who don't fish, still a great place to hike the fishing trails which would be moderate level. Also close to the Baldwin Bait & Tackle and two other tackle shops which are all nice. The grocery store is nearby. It is an old school cabin with some updates. Lots of room and seating in the living room. A bedroom is located on each floor Pictures are accurate. Katie was very responsive and helpful with determining if we could fish at the cabin this time of year which we could not. The cabin is visible to other cabins and fishing would most likely be on the cabin property as most areas are posted. We have always went to the public accesses to fish due to this.

It was very peaceful. The lake was beautiful to kayak. The property was great to hike. Would definitely return.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and well maintained. We were presently surprised by the extra bedroom. We loved how quiet it was. How well stocked the home was. How thoughtful the host was. How you could see every star in the sky at night due to how dark it was at night. We definitely want to come back! My only suggestion would be to mention the lack of Cellular Service. We had zero signal while there with 3 very techy kids. If we had know we would have brought more non-tech related entertainment. On a side note, the local Dollar Generals are Awesome and have everything from groceries (Including fresh produce at the LeRoy location) to non-tech entertainment including current movies/DVDs to use in the provided DVD player and Art supplies/games.

Michaela’s cabin was just what my group of friends and I were looking for: a quiet, beautiful place to visit. I felt like it was definitely secluded but grocery store, gas station and restaurants are within a few miles. The photos do not do it justice! She has the place stocked with most of anything we needed and more that we didn’t think to bring but appreciated that they were there! We downloaded a few movies to watch and were able to use our own hdmi to C connectors to her tv. We will definitely be back!

Love this place! For a long weekend this is the place to be! Love the serenity and relaxation this home brings. The best getaway spot! Thanks again Sarah for the stay. Just obsessed!

Awesome cabin in the woods surrounded by nature very cozy comfortable and private. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get out of town and relax.
