We came here to celebrate my man’s 48th birthday and it was perfectly peaceful and had everything we needed for our little getaway. We sat by the fire listening to birds chirp and the water lap, and the romantic deck lights let us enjoy the serene soundscape well past sunset. It was so quiet and private considering the vicinity to other houses, but everyone was super nice and respectful and quiet, plus the house is so well insulated compared to our city condo that we couldn’t even hear the water really unless the windows were open, so needless to say we slept like babies. The bed was comfy and the place was stocked with everything needed to make coffee or tea in the morning. We had planned to party, and kayak, and swim, and grill, and do the whole nine but the peace and quiet gripped us and we realized we needed that quiet getaway more than we knew! It was so nice to slow down and enjoy such a serene and well appointed place that was super thoughtfully put together.

Great views and private. The hot tub was so relaxing and felt like luxury in the middle of nature. The neighbor has some friendly goats that added to the experience. Host was very accommodating and even provided access to his own place so we could get more towels. Would definitely stay again.

I had an amazing weekend at Pine Grove in the Maple Cabin. Joe and Noah are incredible hosts that have taken great care to ensure a perfect peaceful retreat. Our cabin overlooking the creek was well set up with everything you could need. Great hospitality! Also, Roomie is the GREATEST dog ever!

There may not be any other place in California that combines serenity, quiet, isolation and comfort like this place, not to mention lake access. Heather puts in a huge amount of effort to maintain the cabins and the area as a whole. I came here in order to recover from some health issues and could not have asked for a better place. Pure healing and pure relaxation. The style / ambience of the cabins is lovingly curated to the last detail.

Heather was an awesome host and her place was exactly as described. It is a big property where you can unplug and experience nature. She showed us some cool local spots to see an Elk herd and a river pool where we could cool off on a hot day. We BBQ'd outside every night and the cabin stays cool if you open the windows at night and close them early in the morning. Heather also went above and beyond to help us when our dog got sick. She knows her stuff! We were able to get there easily with a two-wheel drive midsize SUV in July so don't let the road scare you. My recommendation for future residents is to download the surrounding area of the lake on Gmaps so that it works offline before you arrive so that you can still enter directions and travel to different spots around the lake.

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

This was our second stay on the property, but our first in this specific cabin. The cabin was wonderful--the kitchenette was well appointed and the living room space was perfect for hanging out. We will definitely be back again!

Rod's place was perfect for our weekend-getaway. Lots of grocery and convenient stores nearby, cute decor, and great amenities - TV, recliner couch, dishwasher, lots of pans and pots, plates, glasses, nice heater, etc. Just make sure to put in the address manually because when we clicked "Get directions" directly from the Airbnb app it took us a couple of miles North further than the place.

This is a very nice, and well organized house right on the lake with it's own private dock. Loved the carport and quiet setting. Easy access to town and the surrounding area. A perfect place for a country get-a-way.

Joanne was very responsive and had a great guide of the area. She meet us at checkin and did a walkthrough with us to make sure we were good. Our favorite part about the place: SUPER dog friendly!!! The place was entirely enclosed so since our pups arnt fully off leash trained yet it made it a safe and fun experience for us. Will definitely stay here again, felt like a home away from home and would be awesome for retreats with bigger groups since 5 cabins too!!!

Awesome price and deal. Pool was great, kids loved it. BBQ was awesome, and cabin was pretty much as describe. Joanne was great at being responsive, and met us there when we arrived for a smooth check in! Safeway ans Grocery Outlet was nearby (within like 5-10 mins away.) we were able to make a nice dinner. 10/10 recommend & will be back in the future!

Cute lil rustic cabin with all the comforts/amenities of home; very good instructions/private property/very safe/serene/peaceful/quiet in nature. *close to town of Middleton/great market/not far from Harbin Hot springs (might be nice to have some fun outdoor activities/area for safe fire pit (with s’mores kit) or cornhole/horseshoe pit/hammock; could easily offer cheaper options for tents as well so it’s more affordable for many guests or even for camper van/rv option too; can’t wait till they get more cabins finished so can accommodate more people/friends

Great place, Maureen was extremely Nice and very Welcoming. Place was very peaceful and was a great get away. Everyone there was very Nice and very helpful. Would definitely book again in the future

One of my favorite Airbnb experiences ! It’s clean, quiet, easy check-in and check-out. It’s super close to Harbin hot springs ! This spot had a full kitchen, comfy bed, warm heaters, etc. I would love to come back when I’m in the area again. Thank you !

Joanne is awesome, we had a great stay! The cabins are super friendly, my pup appreciated the treats he got. My son loved the pool. The place was clean and comfortable.
