Where can you go on a big holiday for 4 days with 100% of your kids, in-laws and grandkids and hear nothing but “When can we come back?” Wish I could show you pics of cooking, cards, pool, fishing and goofy games that just makes life great and memories of a lifetime. This place was very nice and fit our needs well. We enjoyed the accommodations. The kitchen was a little small and with no dishwasher it made it a little difficult to cook and wash dishes but there were plenty of things to cook with. When you use the oven it makes the place rather warm since its a small space so you need to use the oven and AC units mindfully. Everything was very comfortable otherwise and i would recommend this place to someone visiting Brownwood

Ted’s place is a gem ! We enjoyed everything about it ! Very spacious , cozy , a place to relax & unwind ! We felt right at home. It was very clean & had everything we needed. He has it set up nicely - creek for fishing 🎣 propane grill for grilling , fire pit for s’more’s kayaks / oars , paddle boats , 🛶 life jackets for everyone safety . Kids really enjoyed it ! Very peaceful 😌 We all had a a great time! Ted is welcoming & very good host ! We will come back again ! Thanks Ted cya next time

The house, location and access to the lake is remarkable. Definitely a place I would book again and recommend to others. Our host, Aaron was very friendly and replied quickly about any questions. I would give Aaron and the house 11 stars out of 10! Awesome and amazing time at the lake!

This is an older house on the lake with all the amenities very roomie and built for a nice family vacation. Upstairs has a room with bunkbeds and another with a queen size bed and bathroom. Downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a King and the other with one queen and a double. TV's are big! The lake is 20 minutes from town, not too far but far enough for peace. The kitchen has everything you need, bathrooms are not new but clean and sufficient. There are two covered carports for weather protection. If you're looking for new and perfect, this may not be your consideration. If you're looking for big and nice this place is for you. You'll have a nice time.

Our stay at Teri's beautiful lake home was absolutely perfect for me and my girlfriends. We needed last-minute accommodations, and Teri went above and beyond, being incredibly responsive and providing all the details we needed for a smooth and memorable stay. Waking up each morning and enjoying our coffee while looking out at the lake was truly magical. The house had everything we needed, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We hope to be back sometime in the future!

Exceptional Stay at M-Bar-H Lodge! My hunting buddies and I had an outstanding experience at M-Bar-H Lodge! Paul's friendly hospitality made us feel right at home. The lodge was clean, and our rooms were incredibly comfortable. Conveniently located, M-Bar-H Lodge offers easy access in and out, making it the perfect base for exploring Coleman County. The well-maintained grounds and facilities exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend M-Bar-H Lodge to anyone seeking a safe & comfortable place to stay in the area. This is now my second time staying at 5F Ranch. I came here just shy of 5 years ago for my bachelor party, and came back now for my brother’s. This has been a truly phenomenal experience both times. I can say that I had great memories here and it still exceeded them. The property is absolutely gorgeous, both land and home. This is not your typical airbnb, this is a family property that is very loved and it absolutely shows. The home/houses were designed for large groups from the ground up, so it is not bits of furniture crammed into every corner to accommodate as many people as possible. High end and thoughtful features throughout, and absolutely breathtaking property owned by people who respect and appreciate it. To top it all off, Lane and his wife have been the most warm and hospitable hosts you could ever ask for. We will continue coming back here for as long as they will have us. “Hidden gem” is an understatement.
