It was a great place for us to stay at! We are a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 children and it was big enough to accommodate all of us! The place was clean and well maintained, having the washer and dryer was a plus! It was close enough to all the tourist location, but far enough where we didn’t have to deal with the loud night life! Location was great, it was walkable to get to many places!

Miwako met us at the door, infinitely better than the automated system at the next place that felt like an escape room. She helped with an unusual request but undoubtedly one of the highlights of our whole visit to Japan was the sushi night - my only regret was that I could not speak Japanese to communicate better.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

The place was amazing and they were very responsive hosts! We forgot an important medication from our previous hotel and they were very helpful and arranging a next day shipment! Really nice and we were in such a beautiful location!

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

Guys, just get this place !! If you’re afraid of the bright lighting, it does not look like that at all 😂 it dims, I promise ! The wooden bath was so amazing, we didn’t even end up using the outside one. Place was honestly huge for the price too! The bedroom was also extremely comfy. Beautiful riverside and gardens nearby. Seriously, get this airbnb and you will be happy with your stay 👍 trust me

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment - perfect for our family of 4. Some of the local restaurants were outstanding and authentic compared to restaurants in the city. Highly recommended.

Such a quiet and beautiful oasis in Kyoto. Spending the mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, was definitely a highlight to our time in Kyoto. In addition, it was easy access to public transportation but also a short (and beautiful stroll) to various points of interest in town. I adjusted the timing of our Kyoto visit to accommodate this reservation, and I am so happy that I did.

It was our first time visiting Kyoto and this place with conveniently located to good restaurants and train station. The place was comfortable and clean. It comfortably accommodated 6 people. The host was great and responded quickly. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto and need a private and quiet place to rest. Neighborhood was peaceful and safe too. I would stay here again.

Had a great time, very clean and quiet location. I didn’t expect the stairs to be so steep, but that was my ignorance! If mobility is an issue this isn’t the place for you but otherwise ticked all the boxes. The shower is big for Japanese standards which was great!

J’ai passé un très bons moments pendant mes séjours, c’était vraiment inoubliable. Le logement est neuf et très propre avec toute la sécurité, les linges de lit sont propres et confortables, la cuisine est bien équipée . Et surtout, Haruka San et Takaida San sont très aimables et accueillants, avec bon coeur. J’ai hésité avant de visiter Kyoto toute seule, mais quand j’ai logé à Haruka house, je me suis sentie comme chez moi. Grand Merci à Haruka San et Takaida San pour faire un logement propre, confortable et sécurisé. Je vais y retourner la prochaine fois quand je visiterai Kyoto.

Nuité très agréable au bord de la rivière dans ce Ryokan. Dormir dans les futons est très agréable. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil :)

This place is not fancy, but it is roomy, well appointed and comfortable. It is in a great location close to four different train stops, and you can walk to restaurants and sightseeing. It is two units on two floors with steep stairs, and was great with multiple kids. Would rent again.

両親兄妹と家族旅行で利用しました。3世代9人でしたが、ベッドルーム2部屋と和室があり、広々使うことができました。 リビングダイニングは土間と板の間が半分ずつとなっており(土間にはペレットストーブも！)、雪で足元が濡れがちでもとても使いやすく、テーブルが同じ高さになるよう設えられていたので、食事の際にも便利でした。また、水回り、寝具ともとても清潔で気持ちよかったです。 チェックインの際に紹介いただいたピザ店、鮮魚店とも非常においしく、おすすめです！

Great location! Very walkable and quiet, perfect to wind down after a busy touristic day out and about in Kyoto. It is also very close to Nijō Castle and the Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. The Airbnb was clean and well kept, just a small detail is that it is darker inside than it appears in the pictures. I also personally think it would be a bit small to sleep 5 people, but it was 2 of of us and we were very comfortable. Overrall would stay here again!
