This cottage was one of the best ABNB stays I have had! The place was spotless. The floor plan layout was an excellent use of the space. I was very comfortable staying here, the whole process worked well. Great stay!

I came to visit my son and enjoy the surrounding redwoods, but ended up having to stay indoors a lot more than planned, and I was very, very comfortable in Sara's place. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you need; I loved the firm mattress; and, being an avid reader, I loved the comfy chair in the bedroom and the bright lighting throughout. It's situated in a very quiet neighborhood, and a lovely Café is just a stone's throw down the hill. Sara's personalized Welcome sign made me feel right at home, and she was always very quick to respond when I reached out. I just really liked the place and enjoyed my stay very much!

House is lovely, location is perfect for hanging out or exploring Lassen NP and the surrounding area. Would love to stay here again! Only wish it was warm enough to open the windows so we could be inside and hear all the birds during the day and the frogs at night, with the wind in the pines always there. Incredibly peaceful

Beautiful cottage, a nice walk into town and the Shakespeare festival. Cozy but very doable for 4 adults. Sometimes when I go to a place that seems fancy, I feel like I’m tip toeing around - this space was beautiful and very comfortable - I was able to truly relax during my stay. Wish we had booked an extra day just to enjoy the garden and enchanting space! Hope we will be able to return!

If you are looking for a cozy place in Ferndale this is the place to stay, just hit the reserve button. This cute, romantic and easy to find space is so well curated great touches of modern and Vintage. The host was so responsive. Definitely would come back if I was in the area.

The Victorian Cottage is lovely -- exactly what you'd expect! The cottage has great period details and many pretty touches, and at the same time it's spotless and bright and everything works perfectly. We were cozy and warm and enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, and we found lots of nice back streets where we could explore with our dog.

The studio is a cozy snuggery! Some highlights: super comfortable bed, fun art in bathroom, cute flannel sheets with woodland creature print. But the best part was GG herself. Even before I got to town, she was able to give me insider information….the restaurant I wanted to visit would be closed on that day. Then, the night I arrived I took several wrong turns on my way to the property and needed a LOT of help from her to find my way. GG even stood outside the house on that bitterly cold night to guide me in. So kind and helpful! A wonderful experience!

We loved our stay! A perfect home base for visiting the Redwoods. The cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace, the fire pit (with a pile of wood provided upon arrival!) and the beautiful redwoods right in the backyard. The cabin is right next door to the owner’s home and there’s also an Airstream trailer on the property being used as an AirBnB, but still felt plenty secluded. Trinidad is super cute, with great restaurants and a handful of gift shops. We found all the supplies we needed at Murphy’s market, two minutes down the road, and we weee able to use the kettle and French press to make coffee in the mornings. The Murphy bed felt comfy enough after a day of hiking! We would definitely stay here again!

Hans, Kristina, and Bailey(pup) are absolutely wonderful. The tiny house is adorable and feels so cozy and spacious. They thought of all the comforts of home, quiet space, definitely would stay again!

We are so impressed by this place, it’s everything that we wanted and much more! The farm is so beautiful, the animals adorable and Carriage House is so comfortable! The hosts are amazing people, super friendly and kind. I can’t wait to go back and I will recommend to all my families and friends. Thank you Chace and Kelly!

What a Wonderful Magical Pl., The Hobbit house was amazing as well as their breakfast was wonderful very attentive to all our needs. We would love to stay there again thank you very much for your hospitality Elena.

A beautiful space surrounded by incredible scenery. Easy to make yourself at home.

The house was well stocked in the kitchen and had lots of spices and cooking basics to use. Plenty of utensils, pots/pans, glasses, plates, etc. Great use of space, cozy, good ambiance - everything you need for a quick stay. Hot water ran out about 2-3 mins into a shower. We found some dust and a couple bugs but when you’re out on a farm, that’s to be expected.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The hospitality is superior, from welcoming treats to extra amenities for our dogs. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. And it doesn’t take long to drive to the theaters. A great place to relax.

This was such an amazing stay! It was so nice to get away and sun bathe, stargaze, and relax. The view is absolutely gorgeous, the amenities (soaking tub, sauna, etc.) were perfect and exactly as described! Christine was very responsive and clear with instructions. We will definitely be back! I’m a regular visitor but this was the first time I got to stay in this adorable little hobbit cabin… perfect for solo travelers who want a comfy bed, excellent bed linens and a generously sized custom tiled shower . I also liked the location because it’s hidden in the back corner of the property, so, no disturbances for sleeping and a private outdoor seating area w/ 2 chairs. Thoughtful amenities in the mini-kitchen. I always feel at home here and look forward to use of sauna and tubs… they are never crowded.

Host family and friendly animals(Alpaka, chicken, duck, dog and wild dear) welcomed us. It was a wonderful experience for us, especially for kids to stay with these animals. House and its amenities were good and clean as we expected. Our kids is hoping to stay here next time.

It is an amazing stay if you want that off grid, not connected with anything, phone , TV, internet .... this is the place. The walk down to the river is long and steep in some parts, but worth the walk. Everything is perfect, would not change a thing.

The views outside are stunning, among the woods!! Was very peaceful and cozy. We loved the local recommendations, helped us find two great places to eat. Was everything we hoped!

Highly recommend! We booked both the Cottage and Big Red Barn for a three-day getaway with another couple. Both were very well appointed with quality towels, bedding, kitchenware, etc. There are also many special touches that make you feel welcomed. Beyond the lodging itself, the location is beautiful and such a joy with all the friendly animals, river, views, etc. The weather wasn’t great for us, so we couldn’t take advantage of the riverfront, fire pit, bbq, or other outdoor amenities. However, we enjoyed many local wineries and will come back for a future stay when it’s warm and sunny.

I stayed here with my husband and 4-year-old daughter, we had a great time. It was very quiet & peaceful, yet super walkable. It was equipped with everything we needed.

Great place to stay. The host was very kind and helpful. The space was very cute and the shower was amazing. Well situated for local adventures.

Laurene’s directions were perfectly clear & we arrived and enter with no problem at all! We felt like the place was spacier than we expected which was a nice plus for me, my teenager, and my schnauzer. For being a dog friendly unit there were no smells of dog lingering or hair anywhere whatsoever! This tiny home had exactly everything we needed & we really appreciated the amount of clean towels, toilet paper, paper towel etc that were available. There were little space heaters that we utilized at night because this season gets pretty cold & that worked out perfectly. On the first night around 10pm I let my dog out for one last bathroom break & a few seconds after when we went back inside we heard the door lock mechanism sound & because we’ve seen too many horror movies we thought someone was trying to enter lol But it was just the door automatically locking (why are we like this?! lol!) We messaged Laurene & she was being so reassuring. That was really nice, thank you!!
