Vi var sju personer som bodde i lägenheten. Den var väldigt fin och hade alla bekvämligheter som man kan tänka sig. Synd att vi bara hade möjlighet att stanna över en natt.

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

Greg was such a helpful host, the location of the property was great and having a car was such a game changer for exploring the area. For 4 of us the room was fine and had everything we need. Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay with a great host!

A beautiful Airbnb located in the heart of Echoland, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The unit itself is very cosy and warm, and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the automatic bath tub which was great after a long day of snowboarding. As an added bonus, the food downstairs at Hakuba Shokudou and Berbies was excellent, so we had a few late night snacks there. All in all, we would love to be back again next snow season in Hakuba!

1. David provides you with all the information you could possibly need for a visit to Hakuba. He was amazingly quick in answering my questions. 2. The location of the suite is walkable, in your ski boots, to the buses that run to the resorts. The suites are located down a quiet side street. 3. The bar is delightful. I was worried that it might be loud/boisterous - but it was not at all. The bar staff are very charming. 4. The ski closet is heated, so leaving your boots overnight is not an issue. 5. As a family of 4, we had more than enough room. Our suite was very comfortable. The showers are fantastic. David provides a binder which answers the frequently asked questions. Figuring out the heating system was not an issue.

We had the best time at this Airbnb! The friendly and helpful team made our stay even better, assisting with booking ski lessons and driving us around when needed. The accommodation was perfect for our family of four, with a well-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, a dedicated drying area, and heated floors that made it extra cozy after a day on the slopes. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future!

Had an amazing stay at the shelter Hakuba for our week skiing. Kanako was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help us out with local taxis, transport to our bus and recommendations. I would recommend anyone staying in hakuba to stay at Kanako’s place . It’s spacious, modern, warm and cozy. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was virtually on the main street of Echoland without being on it which meant cafes, restaurants and shuttle buses (during winter season) pretty much at your door step. Beautiful mountain views from the place. The kitchen was the best we have used during our whole Japan trip. Utensils, plates, cups etc well stocked. They had filter coffee making capabilities (and a machine!) Showers all had in built seats (great for those not steady on your feet). We loved the jets built into the bathtub. My only trouble with the place was I had an almost 2 year old toddler and the stairs up to the place didn't have any railings on one side so she could easily fall to the ground (1.5m) and there was no door to stop her accessing the stairs, so we needed to constantly keep an eye on her. The furniture, etc felt high quality and designer (solid wood, not your average IKEA fitout). Beds comfortable. Heating g Would recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. Not knowing the area very well when I first booked it was a bonus to have such an approachable and accommodating host. He went out of his way to communicate with us and make sure our needs were taken care of throughout the stay. He even turned up at the perfect time upon departure and gave us a lift to the bus stop . I would recommend highly recommend this accommodation.

Our group of nine thoroughly enjoyed the recent stay at this chalet. The accommodations were perfect for our needs and provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. Every detail seemed carefully considered, making our trip truly memorable. We appreciated the chalet's amenities and the beautiful surroundings. We would wholeheartedly recommend this chalet to other large groups seeking a wonderful vacation experience.

Pleasant stay with good support, place was clean with good amenities

We only stayed one night but liked the place very much. It’s fun and original, yet comfortable and functional. We enjoyed the fireplace after a chilly day. One stand-out feature is the high tech and well designed equipment & furniture

Takeo was very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. We spent three months in his house and it was worth every cent. Location was also fantastic.

Wow! One of the best staying. The house is very clean and well built. Morino is very proactive and helpful. The house has everything. Washing machine is good for drying clothes well.

Perfect starting point for trekking to Happo-ike and Mount Karamatsu. Cozy room with peaceful and quiet surrounding. Pretty nice breakfast included. Though it was a short stay, we enjoyed it a lot.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

I can’t hype this place up enough. Perfect homey hideaway, right next to sakka slopes!! After a recommendation of rental gear (5 minutes away) we just needed to gear up and cross the road to the ski lifts. Its such a flex to be able to just walk back across the road to a warm and homey villa. We can’t thank Yasue and her partner enough. We will be back!! Would love to hike this area in spring. It was purely magical in winter, and was lucky enough to see some snow monkeys too!! We loved Hakuba. Hopefully we can come when there are less tourists as they can be quite disrespectful. We hope we have made a good impression for you!! Thank you very much and can’t wait to be back!!
