We had short stay in the Crofters Snug but wished we could have stayed longer! Was lovely waking up to the sea views. Found it easily with the directions provided and our dog loved the enclosed play area. Our wee cabin was compact with everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely break!

Beautiful home and Rachael was a great host (hands off but very responsive-just what I like). The location cannot be beat. We had a car but chose to taxi most places. Even our taxi drivers were admiring the location. The hot tub was AMAZING. We got stuck on the island an extra day due to weather conditions impacting ferry crossings. Rachael was able to accommodate an extra nights stay. Although you feel very remote, there are 3 grocery stores within 10 minutes and you have easy access to all of Kirkwall. Favorite part was the neighbor sheep….waking up and looking out to see all the sheep while you get ready was so fun!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Barbara’s Airbnb! Her studio was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, a short walk to Kirkwall town centre. The amenities within the studio like Wi-Fi, TV, bedding and shower were all top-notch. Although we didn't use it on this occasion, we thought having an air fryer in the kitchenette was a great idea! We especially loved some of the goodies Barbara has provided for us, such as shortbread, oatcakes and even an Easter egg each as it was the Easter weekend. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay again in the future! Thanks Barbara :)

Myself and 5 friends stayed the night while on our NC500 road trip, stunning views beautiful lodge very modern clean and tidy wish we stayed for more than 1 night ! Highly recommend 5*

Only issue we had was, that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be returning and staying for much longer!! The cabin was warm, clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, hot tub was nice and hot! View was outstanding! We also loved how private it was. One of our favourite places we have stopped this year!

Toft...what can I say?It makes such a difference if somebody loves hosting & going the extra mile in creating a home from home. The house is incredible tastefully decorated including cosy blankets, lovely cushions, matching kitchenware, local wall art... - such a sight for sore eyes. And you instantly feel at home. Jane provided some great breakfast food to get you started. You have literally EVERYTHING you need - and more...really interesting books (not the old ones you wanted to get rid off or people left behind) and games, too. When we first arrived we could not believe the location - you have a breathtaking view on Hoy from the lounge and the bedroom. You could basically just snuggle up and stare at the sea the whole day. Jane is superfriendly & SO discrete, you do not even notice she lives next door, yet she is always there when you need her. And her adorable cat who we instantly fell in love with! We did not want to leave. Toft is beyond beautiful. Thank you SO much, Jane

Denise and Stephen’s cottage is a real gem and we would definitely book again. Everything was squeaky clean, well appointed and comfortable. Denise gave lots of recommendations and just wish we had more time to investigate. Thank you both very much.

I didn't think it was possible, but this holiday home is even better in real life than the photos. Beautifully decorated, with homely touches so it doesn't feel cold like some holiday rentals. Everything was very clean and lots of modern touches ( like a great coffee machine, ice dispenser from the freezer and obviously the amazing hot tub). The views are fantastic, with a panoramic view of the amazing landscape. Kathleen was lovely to deal with and helped with a few restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend!
