This annex was perfect for a week getaway with Windermere and other sights all within 1 hour. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed and more. The layout is very cosy and the views were great from the bedroom and the outdoor area is fantastic. Overall I would say it’s a 5 star stay and I would recommend anyone who wants to explore all over the Lake District

Had a lovely stay in Cumbria. Lovely accommodation, easy check-in/out. Very private and quiet location, yet still accessible by driving no more than 30 minutes to local attractions. Accommodation was clean, bed was comfortable, overall very homely. Lots of local recommendations, tried out Deano’s Fish & Chips which were delicious.

We’ve had a fantastic couple of days in a beautiful place. Adele and Dave and fantastic hosts and incredibly helpful. The welcome guide we received before we arrived helped us to plan and make the most of our time away! We will definitely be back!

Hi Reg and Lynn, From Darren, Vic and Charlie, we want to say a massive thank you for your hospitality, your kindness and allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. we've had the best few days in a long time and felt part of your wonderful family whilst allowing us space and privacy to truly relax. we'd like to thank you also for the little extras we found upon arrival which were most thoughtful and kind. We struggled to leave this morning and the love you've all put into the cottage was felt from the second we walked through the door. I really don't think the photos do justice to the beauty and charm. The local walks are wonderful, the beach is an absolute delight, you've made everything perfect for us and hope we'll be back one day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it's been the most perfect of breaks Darren, Vic and a truly tired Charlie x

This place is a true gem, and everything we hoped for and more! The sunsets, the stargazing, the fires with driftwood on the beach, the hot tub, the quiet beach, it is all PERFECT. The hut was clean, tidy and stocked with plenty of extra bits. We would come back again and again, highly recommended.

What a lovely place! So glad I found it and would love to revisit! It was absolutely stunning! By far the nicest place I have stayed! The properly was beautiful and it was very clean! The views were stunning! Sam was incredibly helpful with booking, directions and getting access to the property! I don’t think he could have been any more helpful which made the process so easy and straight forward! It has everything you needed and we can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I, our 2 daughters and 2 dogs had a wonderful Easter weekend at the cottage. We had everything we needed and felt right at home straight away. We enjoyed the beach and park for hours every day, which was great only being a 2 minute walk away. Thank you for a lovely stay and hopefully we will be able to come back again 😊

We stayed for 2 nights, and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer! It is such a beautiful area and we found the surroundings so relaxing. There is so much to explore and do within short driving distance, and the recommendations from the hosts were very appreciated-I would say a car is a must though as it is very rural. The property was stunning, so clean and beautifully designed and all the finishing touches really made it special. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts are fantastic, leaving fresh eggs, milk and butter on arrival alongside flowers and chocolates etc. They are very responsive and friendly, and told us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again one day!

This was my second visit to the house and even better than I remembered. A perfect place to come with my loved ones to celebrate turning 30. I can’t thank you enough for creating a home from home. We didn’t want to leave! I am sure I’ll be back again!
