The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

It was a short stay, but everything was as described. Contact with Fleur was pleasant and nice, Fleur made sure we felt at home, Our wind turbine technicians had everything they needed.

We had a fantastic few days away in this house. there was plenty of space for two families of four and a dog. The enclosed garden and garden furniture were a great addition, especially as the weather was lovely while we were there. Would definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The house was clean and well stocked! Keswick is walkable which was great for us. Lots of tips given prior to check in.

we enjoyed our stay! the home is in a great condition and was clean. comfy beds, quiet neighbourhood and had everything that we need. we loved how close it was to Derwentwater as well as pubs, Booths and the cafe by the lake. we also found it really easy to get to Scafell pike as well as back on the M6 from it! highly recommend

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

A lovely little place, welcoming and warm. Off the main tourist routes, but still a beautiful location with plenty to see and do. Of course all the choccies in the workshop helped us to feel right at home. Very friendly hosts, thank you for everything- we may just see you again.

Lovely ground floor apartment, in very easy walking distance to the centre of Keswick. On road parking was free of charge, and we had no problems parking close to the house. Nice & clean - had no issues or problems at all.

A perfect place to stay en route to the Highlands. We would recommend and would certainly like to return to explore the local area. One night wasn't long enough. Highly recommend this lovely apartment with its beautiful decor and comfy bed. The treats provided for adults and dogs were a lovely touch

Adrian and Stefania's annexe was perfect for us to get away into Cumbria. It is a great location, peaceful and a really beautifully established property. Alot of thought and care has gone into creating a lovely calm place for guests to stay. Adrian and Stefania made us feel very welcome and were readily available to help with anything we might have wanted - though they had thought of everything. The little touches always make you feel welcome- from the greeting goodies to a warm freshly baked croissant breakfast on departure morning. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us. The accommodation was absolutely perfect (& even exceeded the description, which in itself was delightful). Absolutely spotless accommodation, well equipped with outstanding views of the surroundings Cumbrian Fells. Ideally located for access to Keswick Town Centre and environs. Our hosts (Ashley and Steve) were extremely attentive and friendly; and we are excited at the prospect of staying again at their lovely accommodation. Plenty of parking available & clear instructions on directions to the property. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

Fantastic property in a peaceful area of Portinscale ,easy walking distance into Keswick,the designated parking place was an added bonus. I’m a single traveller with no dogs,the apartment had no smell of dogs,no dog hairs and was spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was a good size ,the shower was easy to operate either rainfall or normal shower head with great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to either make yourself a snack or to cook yourself a meal. The bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh and the bed was lovely and comfortable, overall the apartment was home from home. Did a number of walks on Saturday and Sunday,Derwent circular walk,Cat Bells and Latrigg,will definitely be returning to attempt Scafell and Skiddaw. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment

Beautiful apparent with lots of things to do aroud. Very clean and organised and a very friendly hoast. Spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Overall a beautiful weekend away.

A great private space within easy reach of the centre of town. Ideal for us to use as a base for our stay. Fantastic sofa/TV area to relax after a busy day out and about. Close to the centre of town within a 5 minute walk but quiet also with lovely views to the hilltops front and back. Graham and his family made us feel very welcome. We would love to return one day.
