We had an amazing 2-day stay at this delightful wooden cottage on Bruny Island! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with towering trees and a peaceful bush setting—perfect for unwinding. We were thrilled to spot a few wallabies hopping around the neighborhood, including a rare white one—what a special treat! The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the comfy beds made for a great night’s sleep after our adventures. The outdoor garden was a highlight, offering the perfect spot for stargazing under the clear Tasmanian sky—truly magical. It’s just a short, scenic walk to Adventure Bay, where we enjoyed the beach and explored nearby trails.

We got to Bruny Island late in the evening but checking in was a breeze with Rae’s thoughtful instructions. The house was adorned with hemp products- from the walls down to the bed linen. There is a sizeable lot for parking, a cosy living area, a well stocked kitchen/pantry as well as a washer-cum-dryer- which was practically everything for a comfortable stay. Nice gesture with the free gin, overall we enjoyed our stay at Sativa house.

Just a beautiful stay, in a peaceful spot in the Tassie south. We came down for a weekend visit from Hobart and loved every second of the stay. Within easy reach of Cygnet, Verona Sands, and peppered in farm visits in the country. Peaceful setting in a sweet, little house and comfortable amenities and bed. We spent our days popping around the area and our evenings enjoying the cabin and the surroundings. Could not recommend this spot enough.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We booked this accommodation as a family, as my brother was getting married in Peppermint Bay. Lindsey was very proactive and an excellent communicator - the house was easy to find, access and enjoy. All the amenities required were provided, the view and garden were lovely. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here, and hope to arrange another booking when we are in Tasmania again.

Fusion House is a great place to spend a few days in Hobart, with stunning views over Hobart and Mt Wellington. Beautiful, comfortable house that catered for the whole family, being 6 of us.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the space created by Michelle and Blu x The attention to detail is evident from the beautiful decor to the generous provisions - they have literally thought of everything- ensuring a comfortable experience. Michelle and Blu were the perfect hosts and their love of this property is evident in its presentation - thankfully they are happy to share it with us all 😍 Extremely comfortable beds; linens to die for and squeaky clean 🧼 This is the ONLY air BnB I didn’t feel like I had to wash dishes and utensils in before using!!! Thank you so much for sharing a space around your fireplace 🔥 and creating a memorable experience for us all - including our pet Daisy Doo. This is our new favourite place and top of the list for future visits to the Huon x. Michelle and Blu are truly amazing people and you will not be disappointed- unless you miss out !!!! I booked Eve's place as the location looked great and was close to our family in Hobart. Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to illness, but my Parents still went for 4 days. The loved the location and how clean and peaceful the accommodation was. The outside areas were fantastic and the newly installed kitchen was beautiful. Eve left great instructions for local places to eat and drink, as well as local attractions to visit and see. Overall my parents loved Eve's home and wouldnt hesitate to stay again. Hopefully next time I will be able to join them.

Swallows Rest is a lovely little house within walking distance to Adventure Bay. Anna was very accomodating and super responsive to all questions we had, and we felt at home right away!! Definitely would recommend to able bodied visitors, the bathroom may pose some difficulties if struggling with any mobility issues and the step into the bath is a little scary when wet even for able bodied visitors. Other than that, a really lovely stay and would highly recommend!

Peaceful, private shack walking distance to adventure bay. Fall asleep listening to the waves crashing and admire the white wallabies in the garden. A great base for a few days to explore all that Bruny island had to offer. Our family of four were very comfortable and the fire place was a welcome site to return to. Would highly recommend this stay to other like minded families.

Robyn was an amazing host. She was very friendly and thorough and we were able to communicate freely with her regarding amy problems. She made sure we felt at home for the duration of our stay. The home had beautiful gardens and was located in a peaceful and private bush setting - wildlife was abundant to watch from a safe distance - a perfect retreat for our needs. The home was well suited with amenities and was something beautifully extraordinary. If travelling with small children, feel free to communicate with Robyn to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. Overall, our stay was comfortable and homely. I do recommend this home!

This place is just the sweetest place to stay. Sit on the balcony and watch the chooks by day and pademelons at night. Compact but everything I wanted kitchen. The coolest stairs and wood wall. Close to Woodbridge Village for brekky but also close to Birchs Bay Art Farm, Kettering and not far across to Cygnet too.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Clare and Justin’s Hopkins Homestead Farm Stay Studio. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and even better than described. Their attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home—especially while traveling with our dogs. The location was perfect, just off Nicholls Rivulet Road, offering easy access and a peaceful retreat. Check-in was seamless, and Clare and Justin were fantastic hosts, providing prompt and helpful communication. One of the highlights was the stunning valley views, abundant birdlife, and thoughtful amenities. The fully fenced, dog-friendly setup was a huge bonus, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. It’s clear that Clare and Justin go above and beyond to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for their guests. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hopkins Homestead Farm Stay Studio to anyone visiting the area!

We had the most wonderful stay! Hannah was a fantastic host with excellent communication from start to finish, making everything seamless and stress-free. The house itself was absolutely amazing, spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. It felt incredibly peaceful and private, a perfect escape from the everyday. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend!
