Nice quiet get away, super friendly and right near several vineyards. Wife and I loved the horses that come up to the gate. Plus, the fire pit at night with the background noise was the perfect ambient noise for us getting out of the city to relax. Kelly & Al also very personable and make you feel right at home.

Another great stay at Leslie’s peaceful retreat! I’ve stayed here several times before, and it is always a very pleasant, comfortable stay. So many nice touches! Lovely high-quality linens, a comfortable bed with good pillows, and well-stocked kitchenette. Leslie is an amazing host!

It ought to be a collection of Such's and So's. Such a nice place and so quiet. So well decorated with taste and quality materials. Such a relaxing spot so close to the water. So so so good cookies and muffins. And last but not least, so nice people. Very lively and cheerfull Tanya, very calm, quiet and peacefull John (still amazed, 40 years later and apparently, by his wife who may still have more energy than any soldier he faced throughout his carreer . Is there any use to add we enjoyed very much being there and highly recommend the Birds nest ? Daniel

Cozy, comfy and super clean roomy ranch home in a quiet neighborhood. Visiting the area for a wedding and touristing with extended family. House set up well with both a living room and a family room which made it possible for quiet relaxing and socializing to happen at the same time in different areas. We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay at Talita’s countryside cottage! The space was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My guys and I had a great stay in New Kent. It was odd being in a place that was representative of 150 years of history kept mostly in its antique form. That is, except for the kitchen which was modern underneath a classic look. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. I had a couple concerns when we checked in, but Adam responded and resolved everything quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away with a history niche.

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at the farm. The space was well thought out and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and taking in the surrounding farms. There was a therapeutic riding stable at the end of the street that had beautiful horses and livestock. We also enjoyed the free range chickens that visited us each day. I highly reccomend staying at Sharon's place.
