Nice quiet get away, super friendly and right near several vineyards. Wife and I loved the horses that come up to the gate. Plus, the fire pit at night with the background noise was the perfect ambient noise for us getting out of the city to relax. Kelly & Al also very personable and make you feel right at home.

We would definitely stay again- perfect location close to wineries. Everything was exactly as described.

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at the farm. The space was well thought out and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and taking in the surrounding farms. There was a therapeutic riding stable at the end of the street that had beautiful horses and livestock. We also enjoyed the free range chickens that visited us each day. I highly reccomend staying at Sharon's place.

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

Cozy, comfy and super clean roomy ranch home in a quiet neighborhood. Visiting the area for a wedding and touristing with extended family. House set up well with both a living room and a family room which made it possible for quiet relaxing and socializing to happen at the same time in different areas. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was so beautiful! so clean and comfortable! the views were spectacular! one of the most relaxing vacations that we ever took! Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!!

As serene as it gets (except Wednesday is the mowing day, but didn’t bother us). Renee is super responsive, which helped a lot. The place is clean and very relaxing, it is remote though, any big city you want to drive to is 1.5-2hr drive. Had fun fishing from the dock, so many catfish there, anyone can catch. Friendly neighbors. Water is on the soft side. Fridge and cupboard had spices and condiments, and a water filter, which was a big plus. Pots and pans need replacing, that’s probably the only negative. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Renee and Ed!

We had such a lovely stay at Talita’s countryside cottage! The space was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and conveniently located for our spring break adventures. My guys and I had a great stay in New Kent. It was odd being in a place that was representative of 150 years of history kept mostly in its antique form. That is, except for the kitchen which was modern underneath a classic look. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. I had a couple concerns when we checked in, but Adam responded and resolved everything quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away with a history niche.
