Cosy self-contained one bedroom private annex with lounge/ small food prep area and separate bedroom with en suite/electric shower and storage cupboard. Comfortable lounge has a 42” HD TV with Freeview Digital, Amazon Firestick with Netflix plus Ethernet and WiFi. The lounge has complimentary tea/coffee/snacks. (Nespresso machine/milk frother) fridge, microwave, portable hob and kettle. Continental breakfast is included in the apartment on arrival. It has a private entrance/keylock.

Newly restored and much loved holiday home that was the original farmhouse is now a private self-contained wing of our home, Glenside Cottage, where we live. In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome too!

Strathblane is situated at the foot of the campsie hills, There is a bus service to Glasgow and Stirling. Milingavie is a 10 min drive away which has a train service to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. Loch Ardinning John Muir way. falconry centre all walking distance.

The Strath, a quiet home from home.

The Strath in Killearn is a delightful country home. The cosy seating area with wood burning stove opens into the kitchen and dining area. A large lounge with original fireplace is accessed through double doors. The kitchen doors provide access to the garden area, sheltered by surrounding trees. The two available comfortable double bedrooms upstairs provide views across the hills and countryside. A bathroom with bath and shower upstairs is complimented by the additional bathroom downstairs.

Watermill Nook is set on the grounds of our charming former working Listed Watermill and is a romantic, cosy cabin ideal for guests who want to relax and unwind. The beautiful, fairy lit, private woodland garden set high above the River Mar is a special place in which to immerse yourself in nature, birdsong and the blissful sounds of the babbling river. As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

Soak in the views, breathe in fresh air & relax. Studio is bright and airy and modern with stunning views of Ben Lomond and National Park. The sunsets are incredible. A perfect retreat and is a wonderful base for exploring all the area has to offer. Most of our visitors wish they had stayed for longer. A self-contained studio apartment with separate access from the main house giving total privacy for guests. Perfect for people starting their journey on The West Highland Way, or for those looking for a relaxing trip. The property is roughly a 15 minute walk from Milngavie train station/ transportation can be provided if required. Country environment but also a very accessible place as trains go directly to the centre of Glasgow and Edinburgh from here.A travel cot is available .

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

Cois Loch Lodge is a unique lodge situated in a peaceful setting with magnificent views over Loch Lomond and the hills beyond. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!

If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.
