Stayed for 2 nights as a family - the location was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy to find and very safe, kids could play outside. We used the hotel leisure facilities , went for a walk on the beach, and overall just explored and relaxed. Keira's place was very homely and we ended up having dinner there rather than going to a restaurant as it was so comfortable. Will stay again, thanks Keira !

We had a beautiful holiday here in the coach house of Kilmokea Country Manor. The coach house is fantastic, full of character and the bedrooms are large and airy with views of peacocks from the windows. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the wild and bountiful gardens are just magnificent to wander through in awe. There is a great tennis court and beautiful swimming pool framed with French Doors and ample changing areas. Emma and Mark were absolutely superb hosts. They are warm, friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to meet around the place. My only tiny note is that I would have liked a list of extra charges in advance - just so I had more awareness of costs I was incurring as I went along. The jacuzzi is extra, as is the sauna, and there is a daily charge for utilities. I am sure this is all in the provided info knowing these careful hosts but I somehow missed these details. Anyway nothing could possibly detract from what is an absolute hidden paradise. Book immediately !!

Best airbnb I have stayed in. Beautiful decor, absolutely spotless. Friendly host. So many extras that make it homely and fun for a family. Record player, popcorn machine, outdoor screen and speakers. In the town but quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely family get together in Ballyveig House. There was plenty of space for the 13 of us. There children were delighted to have a room to themselves and it was great having all rooms en suite. There children were kitchen was big and well equipped and the dining area had plenty of seats for our big family dinner. We missed having a tv in the main room for the rugby match but in hindsight we played more board games , cards and made a jigsaw due its absence. Carol was very responsive when we had questions and the space outside was lovely. The children enjoyed the swings. The local shops were within walking distance (very handy for the forgotten matches for the birthday candles!) If we had stayed longer we would have explored the locality more- lots to do around there. Very enjoyable break.

Brendan was an amazing host and did everything in his power to help myself and my friends. We really appreciate all he did for us. The place was spotless and felt homely. Couldn’t recommend a better a place than here.

Cynthia’s place was incredibly spacious and in a lovely, quiet spot on the outskirts of Thomastown. We were only two couples but the house could easily accommodate a larger group. Communication with Cynthia was always prompt and personable. She also provided several pantry items such as coffee, tea, cereal, spices, oil, etc. A welcome touch. We felt it was good value for the area.

Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. Nella tipica campagna verde irlandese è stato realizzato questo cottage. Molto funzionale, con una sala relax ottima per i ragazzi e per riposarsi dopo una giornata in giro per le bellezze dei dintorni: rock of Cashel, Kilkenny, Kilcooley abbey. Il proprietario sempre presente ed accogliente, non abbiamo avuto il tempo di visitare la sua fattoria, come ci ha proposto da subito, ma potrebbe essere una buona scusa per fare un altro viaggio in Irlanda con un fil rouge differente da quello che ci ha guidato in questo, partendo dagli scones preparati da Lorna e dall'eccellente latte delle mucche di Peter.

great stay , pics on line don't do it justice , it's actually nicer than it looks in the pictures. enjoyed our stay , little firepit out the front was great for toasted marshmallows , could improve with a bbq or grill for outdoor cooking. village 15 mins walk away , pub and shops in it . it's a good location for a base for tripping around . , 25 mins from hook lighthouse , 10 from jfk gardens , we also visited suir valley railway with kids and Waterford/ new ross . overall good spot , great house . Thanks to our hosts !

A very comfortable and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated, part of a traditional family farm. Mags and family made us feel very welcomed. Thank for the lovely homemade bread. The property is some way down country lanes so not easy to find but persevere, its worth it for the peace and rural setting. Inistioge village is very attractive and offers local walks; it is a few minutes by car. There are also walks from the property. For supermarkets, local services and all sorts of places to eat New Ross is nearest. Lovely countryside, well worth exploring which we shall aim to do another time.

Second time staying at Lime Hill. Perfectly met our needs for access to Clashganny, St Mullins and Graigue. Lovely stay, super communication. Thanks again Joan

Myself partner and 2 children stayed at Colms property. It was so clean the beds were so comfortable and the smell of the fresh bedding was lovely. Colm was straight back to me if we needed any advice. There was sky tv that was a lovely extra for the evenings. I would highly recommend this property. The children loved playing in the garden. Everything you needed was in the house I will definitely return.

Lovely home in a great location. Fresh scones upon arrival. Such a nice touch. Beds extremely comfortable. Large harvest table in kitchen was a great gathering space. Loved it!

Une maison vraiment magnifique sur une très belle propriété. Calme, facile d'accès, parfait pour les enfants. La maison est vraiment très bien pensée, très pratique et facile d'entretien. La literie est top, nous avons tous très bien dormi. Nous étions 6 pour notre séjour et franchement nous n'étions pas du tout à l'étroit !! Helen et Paddy sont très attentionnés et prévenants. Mes fils ont même eu le droit à des chocolats pour pâques ☺️ Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique séjour, c'est avec plaisir que nous rentrions le soir de nos visites pour nous reposer dans cette belle demeure. On avait l'impression d'être chez nous et c'est avec une grande tristesse que nous avons dû rendre les clés 😊

We felt so well looked after with lovely bread, milk and butter on arrival as well as some Easter Treats. The beds and bed linen were so good. Everything about the place was gorgeous and the hosts have done a lovely job on this cottage. We had lovely cosy nights in and did some of the recommended activities aswell as cycling the greenway. Paddy’s Bar was recommended and we really enjoyed it. We only wished they were open for dinner every day! Most places of interest/ shops/ restaurants were about 15/20mins drive.

We had a lovely stay in Catherine's place. I stayed with my husband and 18 month old son for two nights and we felt right at home. Catherine was very responsive and helpful, the house was cosy, well equipped with everything we needed and she even left some lovely little touches for us such as snacks for us and special cutlery for our little guy! The house was comfortable, easy to find, close to a few shops and just a few minutes drive into the city (very walkable too but the weather was bad) We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kilkenny.
