We enjoyed a lovely weekend reunion with friends from around the world. It was the perfect location for lots of chats and had great facilities to cook for all 6 of us. The hot tub was lovely as we listened to the rain hit the tin roof.

Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodation for relaxing getaway . House was stocked with food and drink to start our stay. Bedrooms felt like 5 star hotel. We enjoyed the tennis courts, hot tub and nature trail walk.

A lovely quaint cottage in the countryside with a nice mix of older charm and modern touches. The host and his father were helpful and polite even as we struggled to get the driveway gate open. Hint: park well back from the gate when you arrive; if you're too close to the sensor, it won't open. The hot tub is a rare and welcome amenity for the area - clean, well-maintained, exceedingly relaxing in the evenings. Thanks for a great stay!

Just home from a fabulous weekend at lizs place, it's a stunning cottage, liz had provided so much for us, full irish breakfast for 2 mornings, beautiful bunch of roses chocolates wine juice milk etc. she went above and beyond which we are so grateful for. the hottub was unreal and the flip flops and robes provided were a lovely touch..I can't say enough good things about liz or the property, very responsive host and checked in with us over the weekend too.. we would highly recommend a stay there and we hope to be back one day..

Had a great stay at Dee's place, The cow shed was qaint, spotless and so peaceful. Dee's digs were also a pleasure to meet. We had our doggy with us and he loved every minute . A short drive to Dungarvan and the Greenway. I would definitely recommend 👌

Great location and great place to stay, big enough but still very homely, only stayed for a late night and early morning so could not really appreciate what this lovely place had to offer but will definitely return. Had a lovely welcome at breakfast by 2 adorable and characterful dogs! They did each get a sausage!(sorry Louise) Thoroughly recommended 😊

We had a wonderful stay. They had really thought about things that other places hadn't that we had stayed in previously such as having toys and books for children that may stay and also sanitary products etc we thought that was very thoughtful. The scones were a lovely touch also. Would stay again.

Helens place is an absolute gem. So unbelievably comfortable and friendly. We've travelled Europe staying in airbnbs and I have never seen one so well equipped. Thank you so much for the produce- we were able to eat after a long journey. And we all have a new found love of white pudding! perfect for a couple of nights to rest after the ferry- and the hook peninisular is spectacular. I'm so glad we got the chance to see some of County Wexford. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

My family and I spent two lovely nights in the cottage. Truly a home away from home. It was warm, comfortable and large enough for our party of 3 adults and two toddlers. The communication with our hosts was excellent and very friendly. My only regret is that we could not stay longer in this little paradise. I highly recommend the cottage to anyone who loves nature, walking, relaxing, slowing the pace of life. Thank you Richard and Ben for sharing your house with us!

Fantastic place to stay. An oasis of charm and peace. The stove was lighting when we arrived and we stayed in for the evening. We cooked steaks on the oven top and had some lovely salads that we bought. Had a few visits from Charlie the very friendly dog and our own greyhound, Holly, was pretty enamoured with him. There was brown bread and scones for our breakfast as well as rashers which we loved. The cottage is very comfortable and the double bed affords a restful night's sleep. There was also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the loveliest fluffy white towels that I have ever seen. We went into Shillelagh for lunch on Saturday to Moll's place - delicious lasagne followed by homemade apple tart and ice-cream. We went for a nice long walk too down towards the pub from the cottage. We didn't venture to the pub as we were too cosy! We'll definitely be back. It was good for the soul!

Great accommodation in the country side close to Kilkenny. Communication with Anne went very smooth and she was a fanatic host ensuring we had everything we needed!

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in Irland und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles im Haus war vorhanden wie beschrieben und sehr gemütlich. Die Gegend ist super zum Entspannen, zum Rad fahren und wandern. Vielen Dank!

Fantastic space to base ourselves out of for trips to Dublin Zoo and Emerald Park. Had everything we needed and only a short drive into the wonderful village of Straffan. Highly recommend

Wonderful cottage with easy access to the surrounding countryside and sites. Kate is a fantastic host who made us feel right at home and the delicious homemade bread, butter and jam was an unexpected and very welcome treat! Will definitely book again if/when we return! Thanks very much Kate!

Niall and Inez were wonderful hosts. The farm was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and got to enjoy all the beautiful aspects of the farm; walking trails, petting the horses and enjoying the peacefulness. The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed making a fire in the evenings and cooking breakfast in the mornings. We even made blackberry jam with blackberries from the farm and Inez’s recipe. The cottage we stayed in slept four; we had one couple and one single person and it was plenty of room. We felt very safe while staying on the farm. We utilized the laundry and that was very convenient. We rented a car to get around and enjoyed many local restaurants, coffee shops and castles. Niall was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the farm grounds and cottage pointing out where things were. The farm is a must stay if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Thank you Riana for 5 wonderful nights at the beautiful Heron Cottage. We were absolutyely thrilled with everything. It was the most exquisite place to stay for a short break with my 90 year old mother, immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the gorgeous decor and it was equipped with everything you could wish for. Everything is so easy to work, with super instructions readily available. The private steps to the beach make for a magical journey over to the harbour where we feasted on fish and chips and the outdoor seating was just perfect to relax with a glass of wine. The location is superb for touring around. We were blown away by the beauty of the place and it's fascinating history. Heron cottage is a very special place and Riana is the most welcoming, most generous host as was her lovely daughter who greeted us on arrival. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy a holiday here. To be honest we didn't want to leave and we hope to return.

Eines der gemütlichsten Häuser in den wir waren. Die Lage ist sehr abgeschieden und wunderbar ruhig, aber mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Dublin oder den schönen Wanderorten des Naturschutzgebietes oder man kann auch einige Routen direkt vom Haus starten. Der Ausblick über das Tal mit den ganzen Weiden, Tieren und der Natur ist wunderschön. Überall begegnet man Schafen, Rindern und anderen Tieren, häufig auch direkt auf der Straße. Mary ist sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gibt Produkte von der familieneigenen Farm. In 10min Fußweg ist ein Dorfgemeinschaftshaus mit witzigen Aktivitäten bei denen man sehr freundlich aufgenommen wird. Z.b. Zumba oder die Kinder konnten spontan an einer Kinderdisko teilnehmen. Alles in allem entspannter Urlaub in heiler Welt.

We loved our stay at Ashleigh’s place. The dogs were the cherry on top for us and were so so good with our little toddler. It really felt like a home away from home. Some food and bits were left for us and the house is so beautifully presented and comfortable living space. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Defo will stay again. :)
