Berenike was lovely! She was very quick in replying to all of our messages and she even gave us a refund when there was a power cut on the island (even though it was due to an accident in the area and it affected all houses on the island and even though her daughter was at the hospital at the same time). The house is ideal for a family that wants to spend lots of days on a beautiful island. It is very cheap for a 4-person accomodation, it offers all the essentials, it is in the forest (so it's cool all day), it is air-conditioned and clean.

Charming apartment making up the ground floor of Petros's place. The garden is stunning, with views across the town to the sea. Olive and citrus trees give dappled shade and there is an awning for when more shade is needed. Petros lives upstairs so is on hand and is extremely helpful. He not only picked us up at the port and gave us a lift back but also offered to take us to the supermarket and even to the Temple of Aphaia when he was going. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk uphill from Marathonas A beach. A few minutes more brings you to the stretch of restaurants between the two beaches and a few minutes more the lovely Marathonas B beach. The walk has beautiful views across the bay to Moni and Perdika with the Peloponnese in the background. There is a well stocked supermarket near the A beach. There are buses to Aegina town and Perdika but only 2-3 per day. We walked to Aegina in about an hour and got a cab back for 8 euros. A fabulous, peaceful stay with a very helpful host.

Fab, what more can I add. Location and house were perfect. Host was also very accommodating around out departure as well which really helped us out.

We had a great stay over the 2025 Easter break at Jay’s apartment! The place was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Check-in was easy, and Jay was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. The apartment had everything we needed and is located in a quiet, safe area, close to shops and restaurants. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Jeg havde et super godt ophold i Dionisiss bolig. Jeg blev taget godt imod af hans venlige kone, som viste mig stedet. Der var de lovede faciliteter og kort afstand til stranden og det nærmeste supermarked. Det eneste jeg oplevede som var negativt, var at toilettet ikke var særlig godt til at skylle ud. Men udover det, er der ikke noget at sætte en finger på:)

Greeted with a glass of water and home made lemon drink. My room was perfect. Clean and all amenities if needed to cook. Court yard was a nice place to relax in the morning or evennings before heading out. Martha was kind enough to direct me to great beaches and places to eat. Martha was a perfect host

Property is in a great location, 2 mins walk to harbour with restaurants - we ate at both the souvlaki and seafood restaurant (blue and white with stairs that you walk through to get to the apartment) and both were good. Penny is super nice and the property is exactly as per the photos, kitchen is small so not easy to prepare any meals, but we didn't do that. Nearby beach where you can swim (even at end of April - bit chilly but doable). And you can walk along a quiet coast road / path to Vagia and then up to the Temple (about 1.5 hours in total and a very nice walk). Aegina port is also very nice and I recommend getting teh bus there - 2 euros each way, you catch it at the harbout at 10.45ish and it come back at 2.30pm.

I visited Hydra for Easter and we had the pleasure to stay at the Airbnb ofMrs Fotini and Mr Konstantinos. I could not recommend this Airbnb enough! Mr Konstantinos welcomed us at the port and took us to the Airbnb not very far from the port. There were some stairs to go up but nothing difficult. The hosts explained to us all the amenities of the place and recommended places to go and restaurants to explore. They had some gifts for us ( an Easter bread , some olive oil bottles from their production, and bananas ). The Airbnb was exceptional, it had a very big room with high ceiling where there is a twin bed and a small salon, on your left there was a big kitchen with a table in the middle and a couch on the side . The kitchen was fully equipped , coffee machine with capsules, sugar and so on… A very nice bathroom ( with towels and shampoo , cotton ect..) and a small bedroom for one person . I would rate the Airbnb and the hospitality of Mrs Fotini and Mr Konstantinos 10/10

Μας υποδέχτηκε η Μητέρα της Μαρίας ήταν πολύ ευγενική, διακριτική και πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει για ότι ζητούσαμε. Το δώματιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο και έχει ότι θα ζητούσε κάποιος για τις διακοπές του. Η περιοχή είναι ήρεμη και ήσυχη ότι ακριβώς ζητούσαμε. Κοντά στο δωμάτιο είχε εστιατόρια mini market. Θα το πρότεινα και σε φίλους μου αν θελουν να πάνε εκεί για διακοπές. Το σκυλί μου η σιμόν έμεινε ευχαριστημένη καθώς κυκλοφορούσε ανέμελη. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα

A hidden gem right by the sea. The property of Georgios is very unique and beautiful, The old olive trees in the big garden are very special. The terrace was amazing to just sit on and watch the Ocean. The close by beach and Tavern make it perfect! We loved this place to start off our Greece Vacation. Georgios is also very nice and easy in contact- we arrived very late, no problem for him. Thank you!

Christos’s place was perfect for us. A spacious apartment with full amenities. Very cosy and beautiful. Comfortable bed in big bedroom. Right on the port, no need to hike up the hill. 1-2 minute walk from most restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. The host was very responsive, helpful, kind and generous. Our ferry out from Hydra was rescheduled and they let us checkout later with no problem. The view from the apartment is even better than the photos. The people of Hydra are very welcoming. There are beautiful places to walk around the island with breathtaking views. We couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay for our vacation. Will definitely be back.

Penny is one of the best hosts I’ve had while using Airbnb. She had great recommendations for activities and her favorite places on the island, was proactive and available making sure our needs were met and made us feel right at home. Regarding the room, everything matched the description and was a cozy and peaceful place to spend a few days!

Maria and Savvina are great hosts. Very welcoming, friendly, and responsive. The place and all the amenities are quite new and in good condition.. It was very clean inside as well. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. We've had the best sleep!

De retour "chez Rafalias" mais cette fois-ci dans le petit studio meublé à l'ancienne avec son coin terrasse très ensoleillé qui surplombe le jardin. L'unique ouverture, la porte-fenêtre, permet de garder la fraîcheur par de chaudes journées. Pour ceux qui préfèrent la fenêtre ouverte la nuit et plus de luminosité, préférer les autres studios. Toujours autant de charme avec son jardin planté d'orangers et autres essences. Etape de charme à Hydra et accueil parfait.

Andreas's home is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at, the pictures don't do it justice. A peaceful oasis in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. Andreas is very welcoming and made us feel at home right away, going out of his way to greet us, show us around and give us recommendations to local restaurants and sights. We are hoping to one day come back and stay for longer, we loved it so much! thank you Andreas for your hospitality :)

Wonderful touches. We had plenty of water, snacks and juice. It felt very private and we were lucky to have stayed here in this home with so much family history

Great apartment with everything you need. The place was very clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony is great. Nice hot tub to relax in the evenings☺️. All in all very recommended!

Beautiful place with an amazing garden. The room was full of thoughtful touches, and I slept incredibly well in the bed. I would definitely stay there again! Andreas himself was very responsive and welcoming, which was great!

Jemand rief meinen Namen als ich auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft war. Andreas stand vor dem Haus und wartete auf mich! Ein herrliches Anwesen mit Innenhof mitten in der Altstadt. Eine gute Einführung von Andreas mit Infos zur Insel und Familiengeschichte. Im Innenhof umweht einen der Duft der Bäume mit ihren Früchten. Sofas zum gemütlichen Lesen oder Frühstücken. Ein kleines aber feines Appartement mit Pantryküche. Der Kühlschrank schon bestückt für ein erstes Frühstück. Sehr aufmerksam. Komme gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Great location in the port, ideal base for exploring the island or enjoying the town. Hot tub a nice touch.
