This space is perfect for 2 people for a getaway, the 2 patios were a bonus, space to simply be. This is a prime spot in These Island, in our opinion, the view over the estuary, the bird life, is magnificent and peaceful Short walk to the restuarants as the Quay in town. Access to the canoe, SUP Bikes and golf sticks was a bonus, we used them all and had great fun, without having to have packed all our own gear. Diane and her family and the housekeeper, Patience were fabulous, helping us with our luggage, cleaning and checking in on us regularly. We will return for the simplicity of being away without stress.

Colette was truly a gracious hostess, going the extra mile to accommodate our every need/wish/want. The boat trip was such a nice addition to our weekend experience. And that view, ah man, what a view ... Thanks to Colette and Wayne for opening up their home to us xx

My partner, Michelle, and I had a fantastic stay at Heidi’s place. The apartment is perfectly located within walking distance of the waterfront, making it easy to explore the area. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee at Trinity Coffee, conveniently located just downstairs. Heidi was a pleasure to communicate with—responsive and helpful throughout. We highly recommend her apartment for a comfortable and convenient stay!

We had a wonderful view, the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. I really appreciate it when you find some much needed supplies in kitchen and bathrooms that you don't expect and storage space and neatly packed cubhoards.

Excellent accommodation and a wonderful host. We requested an early check-in due to feeling unwell, and she kindly accommodated us. The place was spotless — a clear 10/10 for cleanliness. It offers a great view, is well-equipped, and even has board games for a rainy day. Definitely excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We had a great time and would come back any time. The apartment had a nice pool, a washing machine, a dryer as well as a dishwasher which was great.

Das Apartment (the Gull) ist ein absoluter Geheim Tipp. Ruth kümmert sich herzlichst um Ihre Gäste und gibt alles um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Für Selbstversorger ist die Küche ein Juwel. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die makellose Sauberkeit in der gesamten Unterkunft. Ergänzt wird die Unterkunft von einer großzügigen Terrasse, einen wunderschönen Garten und direktem Zugang zum Meer. Der Strand vor dem Apartment lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein. séjour très agréable dans un environnement sécurisé, Paula est venue 5 minutes après notre arrivée, a pris soin de nous avertir tous les jours des coupures d'électricité et est intervenue très vite pour nous aider. La plage, des restaurants sont à 10 minutes à pied. un site et un appartement à recommander

It was the best Air BnB which I have seen so far. The location right in front of the sea, the pool great and warm, plus the beautiful house. Everything very very clean. Woow we loved the days there and whenever possible we would love to come back and enjoy the days in Kirsten and Terrys house. Thanks a lot

what an incredible stay, now my favorite home away from home. thoughtful touches throughout the home almost tops the incredible view and perfect location. great for family, great for all weather with the indoor braai, fireplace and stacking doors. we will definitely be back. thank you Kady and team for a great stay.

My family had a fantastic 3 nights in your accomodation and found ourselves loving your family friendly house.We did have 1 small hiccup with one of the drains being block but after a phone call was sorted out very quickly by a plumber.A very happy clean and lovely place and would highly recommend.

Unterkunft, Lage (der AUSBLICK!!!!), Architektur, Einrichtung und Ausstattung (Küche, Grill, Waschmaschine, Pool, Bäder...) sind absolut fantastisch. Die Anfahrt ist spektakulär. Warren hat uns sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Leider konnten wir die tolle Unterkunft nur 3 Tage genießen. Man kann sich keine bessere Unterkunft für Regenwetter vorstellen (und bestimmt auch für Sonnenschein ;-))

What a gem of a place! Waking up to that stunning view and being just a stone’s throw from the lagoon was such a treat. It’s the perfect spot for families with young kids. The house was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped—with a cozy fireplace that made chilly nights extra special. The swimming pool and bikes were a great bonus. Tori was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

Joys accommodation was exactly as described and like the photos. The flatlets were clean and had stunning views of the Knysna lagoon. Joy was responsive, accommodating and very friendly. Highly recommend staying at this accommodation amd great value for money.

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

We Stayed at Andrei’s place, the location and the apartment itself were amazing, perhaps even better than the pictures. The only downside I would say is the bedroom on top of the coffeeshop as it gets quite noisy from 6-7 in the morning. Other than that, definitely recommend it and will visit back again.

Loved staying at her incredible place. The sunset was stunning, everything very clean and Anja gave us some wonderful recommendations. She is a super friendly host - Definitely recommend her place.

Family friendly, easy barefoot walk to the beach, very quiet, great escape. Many good restaurants in a 10 minute drive. Some exciting activities to do with the children.
