This wonderful home was carefully crafted for luxe comfort and entertaining. The perfect setting for our family gathering, the house boasts a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, beautiful center courtyard with fire table, gas grill, and propane heater, massive common spaces with soaring ceilings, excellent wood-burning fireplace and expansive mountain views. We loved the large, spotless hot tub, terrific game room and cozy home theater. This home is unusually well-appointed, clearly designed and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Towel warmers, excellent beds, an adorable popcorn machine in the game room, I could go on and on. We didn’t want to leave the house, despite the spectacular surroundings. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. We’d love to return to this spacious, thoughtfully crafted home.

Kirstin’s place was absolutely perfect for a Christmas getaway. Relaxing and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Very close to all you need in town. The fireplace in the master bedroom was a plus! Very nice to lay in bed, reading a book, with a ‘fire’ going, in winter. We’ll be back!

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

We just returned from a stay at Lazy Bones and WOW!! Ed & Kimberley's home is like a big warm hug- rustic, cozy & peaceful in BEAUTIFUL surroundings. Ed & Kimberley have gone above and beyond to make things comfortable and convenient! This is easily one of the best stocked AirBNB homes I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is AWESOME! If you love to cook, there is everything you could want to make great meals- high end pots/pans/utensils...there is nothing that I looked for that I couldn't find. Bathrooms are stocked with supplies. They even labeled the fixtures so you aren't fiddling incessantly. Beds are super comfortable with awesome pillows- we slept like bricks! The back porch is wonderful - gas grill with full propane and a full array of BBQ tools. Stunning views of stars at night when you turn the lights down. Our doggies had a blast running around too- lots of room outside after closing the gate into the driveway. Thank you so much Ed & Kimberley- we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was spacious, well equipped and perfectly located in one of our favorite neighborhoods near Kernville. Due to the heat, we were indoors for much of the time when we were at home, but the long table in the kitchen was great for family dinners. We hope to return next summer as well!

Christine place was perfect for my family. Beds are nice and comfortable, especially after a long day of hiking and river fun. The grill was clean and ready to start grilling on top of the large deck with beautiful views of the lake.

Its a very clean and nice 2 bedroom home, it has everything you need for your stay in the kitchen and even the necessities to wash your clothes for a long stay, its in a very quiet area, and has an amazing view of the mountains, and no need to worry about neighbors since both lots next to the house are empty.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very comfortable, private and in a beautiful setting. Daniels's place was the perfect peaceful homebase to return to after spending the day at the river during peak summer crowds. Would definitely return!

This place is utterly breathtaking. Me and my family have been going through a stressful time and we needed a break. This place did not disappoint. It was like a place you might see on a Christmas movie. It was cozy. The decor was worthy of a home magazine but not to the point where you feel like you can’t get comfortable and relax. There was cereal , granola bars , and even sodas left for us with a nice personal welcome note. I messaged the host and always received a quick response. You can literally ride the sleigh on the property. The property next to this rental has horses. The kids loved it . We made a meal and sat at the table. We made s’mores. I absolutely loved it there. We left feeling revived and relaxed . The kids exhausted but happy . Thank you Bruce for sharing You beautiful home with us .

I couldn't ask for a better stay! Everything was perfect! The jacuzzi was so relaxing. The yard was great for the dogs. The main bed was very comfortable. There's a great view of the lake from the living room and main bedroom. I definitely recommend this cabin! 10/10!

Ava is very responsive and proactive about communications about the house. The place is spacious and clean. Long ways to gas and food and Pine Flat is very isolated. Surprisingly number of houses for so little services. If you’re looking for a jump-off spot to some sequoias or are in town for work like us, this is a great option.

We really enjoyed our stay at Debby's cabin home. It was a perfect space for us as we attended a family wedding that was within 10 miles of the home. Debby and her husband were friendly and came over to go over some items at the home, which was helpful and nice. For us, the instructions were unclear and we ended up at the home across the street (GPS only recognizes the home address across the street) and when we didn't see a lock keypad, we tried going up a dirt road and nearly got stuck. Do NOT go up the dirt road...lol I guess we are the only dummies because Debby didn't think the instructions/directions were a problem for anyone in the past. It just put a damper on the beginning of the trip, but it ended up being a lovely stay. Super peaceful. The walk down to the lake was great and we were able to go fishing. We caught two bushes and part of a tree...lol So, not real luck there, but it was fun. Again, super friendly hosts, beautiful home, comfy beds, and great location for us.

Marni was very helpful from the moment I reserved the house. They greeted us after we arrived as she stays across the street so she is not far. We stayed less then 24 hrs but it was comfortable for the night. Heater worked great for the cold night. We used only the top floor because the second room is downstairs and my teenage daughter was scared to stay down there by herself lol. The view at night is beautiful and you can hear the river 24 hours out of the day and that is beautiful. Over all stay was quick but nice.

David’s place was exactly like the pictures and perfect for what what we were looking for. It fit everyone very comfortably and if I am ever back in the area with a group will definitely book again.

Great location, very clean. we kept the middle room door closed to the hallway and used the other entrance and had #2 private suites. would book again.

My wife and I joined my parents in Michelle's place for the Thanksgiving holiday. We spent two nights together. The home was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and had some very clean and retro GE appliances that reminded me of my childhood (oven and stove). Michelle was very responsive to questions and feedback. The home is easy to get to and close to town, hiking and other spots in Kernville. It has a very large driveway and carport - it can easily accommodate a larger group. The dining and living spaces are very large and the bedrooms are private and comfortable. Bathrooms are also nicely stocked with necessary items. The house also has a laundry room. The four of us had a lovely stay. We would definitely consider staying again should the need arise.
