This place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Right next to the river and you can walk to it from the site. Went in November so it was a little chilly but we got fire wood and also they provided wood as well so we just sat around the fire and watched the stars. Do bring blankets if you plan to come out when it’s cold out!

So glad we booked this beautiful cabin! As two couples on a US road trip, it was just perfect! We stayed for a couple of days, loved the river, the sound of frogs in evening, the walks, the giant Sequoias, the local eateries and shops - literally everything was perfect. Thanks Rod - we want to come back!!

Cozy place only 30 minutes away from Trail of 100 giants! The cabin was peaceful even with a few other houses in the area. Loved the patio overlooking the stream!

Chris and Jennifer’s home was the perfect place for us to stay in Kern over the Labor Day weekend. The home was very cozy and inviting with comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and we had everything (I mean everything!) we needed. It was lovely to have the swamp cooler to keep us cool when we were home. The property itself is centrally located and we absolutely loved going down to the private beach - it was absolutely picturesque. We will definitely be back to stay here. Thank you Chris and Jennifer for a lovely stay on the Kern River.

Beautiful property, kids loved the place, specially the river and the little pool. The house is really close to Sequoia. Also host was very responsive and respectful.

The property is great- close to the river and private. It is a perfect place to visit if you have dogs. The yard is fully fenced and large, plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The property is a very short drive into town. There is a small deli/convenience store right across the street. A great place to disconnect and enjoy some quiet time. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!

Great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The House was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful A kitchen with all the items you’d need and all very clean and well presented. We would definitely recommend, as we feel so lucky to have found this little treasure in the beautiful town of Three Rivers

This place at Three Rivers was superb. Very clean, spacious, beautiful and super cozy. Backyard has amazing views with great hot tub! The host, Pam, was very friendly, super responsive, and very helpful! We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and had a fabulous experience.

I spent 3 1/2 days in the Cottage and was lucky enough to have no one else booked at the same time as me so I had complete release from everyday life which is exactly what I wanted to do as well as fish. As soon as I got on the dirt road to the cottage, I knew it was going to be amazing! Deborah and her husband are the nicest people. I was greeted and given a tour of the compound and was left to do my thing. I brought my boat and Bob was kind enough to bring it to the waters edge so I could easily launch every day. The cottage is super cute and cozy and has an amazing view of that lake. I loved eating my dinner and being able to see the water from the table. Bed was comfy and bathroom was big. As for the fishing, It was incredible!! First day was rough due to winds but after that, I lost count of how many fish I caught. I brought enough supplies so that I didn't need to go into town except for fishing stuff and 1 night out to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you plan to visit Lake Isabela!

Amazing location! What a perfect place to get away! Right next to the river and just a few miles from the Park entrance. The place is so comfortable and has everything you need - great bed, comfy couch and awesome shower pressure! The town is just adorable. The coffee shop and delicious sandwich shop are just steps from the door. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We recently stayed at this house for Spring Break with a couple of families to go hiking in Sequoia. The house was even more beautiful than the photos. It was an easy 15-20 min drive into the park. The house fit all of us and was such a great setting with the river in the background. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great house near the park!
