We had a great stay, the host Tj was super responsive and helpful and the farm house was clean and as described. Tj even had crumpets and fizz ready for our arrival! The animals on the farm are friendly and a great addition to the stay. Would definitely recommend.

Caroline was very responsive and informative prior to my arrival, even providing directions to suit me. The hosts both met me at the gate and were both friendly and welcoming. Caroline showed me around The Studio which is a lovely property in a very peaceful and lovely surrounding. The property has everything that I needed and has been well looked after and clean. It was a great stay and I enjoyed my get away. Would definitely return

What a super place to stay! Such a spacious chalet with great furnishings and equipment. The place was very clean and all the linen and towels smelt lovely. We had an issue with the boiler but Andrew had notified us beforehand and was very upfront and honest with the issue. We appreciated this and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. We also had a problem using the oven (didn’t realise it was gas) and Andrew was again quick to respond and help us out. The site itself is superb. The chalet is an easy 3-5min walk from the main facilities. The pool and soft play were refurbished last year and our kids absolutely loved them. There was also pedalos on the lake, mini golf, Dino bikes and a great outdoor play area to keep everyone busy. This really is a perfect place to stay with a family.

We had the most amazing stay at Brook Cottage. Robyn is a wonderful host who has truly thought of everything – from the warm welcome to the thoughtful homemade treats, fudge, Prosecco, crisps, and pain au chocolat. Such lovely touches made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is peaceful, beautifully decorated, and one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The games room and hot tub were both fantastic – we spent so much time relaxing and having fun there. The local pub is just a 5-minute walk away, with a great selection of drinks and lovely bar staff. Everything about our stay was perfect. We would 10000% book again – highly, highly recommended if you’re staying near the Forrest!

We had a fabulous stay at oak tree lodge, Nigel is a lovely host, so helpful and kind. The lodge itself was spacious but felt super cosy, everything had been thought about even down to little extras such a biscuits and marshmallows for the fire. We spent our time exploring the area and found some great things to do, symmonds yacht was great for the kids. Monmouth town was a great morning out also. Our daughter loved seeing squirrels, pheasants and birds right outside the lodge. Hot tub was lovely, really easy to use and stayed hot for ages. Everything about this place is delightful and we had a wonderful time thank you so much Nigel.

We had the most wonderful stay! We were lucky enough to visit during a beautiful sunny weekend, so we got to take full advantage of the amazing deck with plenty of deck chairs & had breakfast each morning on the comfortable outdoor sofas. The rooms are all great spaces, comfortable beds with extra blankets & the showers in both bathrooms were great! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need (although could do with the addition of a peeler!) it was a great place to stay for a long weekend - Thank you for having us!

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful countryside, this charming retreat offers a peaceful escape surrounded by rolling hills & endless greenery. The air is fresh, birdsong greets you in the morning, & the views stretch for miles across the valley. From the doorstep, you can explore countless scenic dog walks, perfect for both energetic pups and leisurely strolls. The accommodation is warm, inviting, & spotlessly clean, with everything you need. Rebecca is helpful & friendly, offering great tips on local walks, hidden gems, & places to eat. Nearby, pretty villages dot the landscape, each with their own charm. There are cosy pubs in Slad, Edge & Sheepscombe. Independent restaurants & cafés in Stroud, which has the famous Sat farmer's market. Painswick also has a farmer's market on a Thurs a m & hot takeaway in the p m at The Painswick Centre, which has a cafe & shop selling local arts and crafts. In addition there is The Falcon, Le Papillon, The Oak, St Michael's and The Painswick.

We had a wonderful week at Cottontail. The lodge was spacious and well set out, a decent-sized kitchen, and a large hut tub, which the kids loved - maybe a bit too much ! Although close to the entrance barrier the location was quiet, and the setting peaceful, next to a tall hedge. The site itself is well-designed, cars travel slowly and there are no real 'rat runs'. There is an on-site shop, small arcade, play ground, pedalo hire, and a nice bar, all set beside a picturesque lake with grebes, little egrets and red-crested pochards (amongst others). There are easily accessible bike rides for the park, and in the wider area. The weather was extraordinary, with crystal blue skies and not a drop of rain; for the first three days we played 'spot the cloud', but none of us did. The local Cotswold villages are picture postcard and not too busy if you go at sensible times. The kids also enjoyed the nearby Sky Walk. I would definitely recommend; it was a really lovely holiday.
