I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Amazing place to stay. In a nice quiet location but the main shops are only a 10 min drive away (Tesco’s etc). The accommodation is exactly as described and contains everything you need for a break away. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you are looking to visit Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari and Bath (which is what we did!).

A wonderful weekend in a wonderful barn in a wonderful location. Perfectly presented throughout and every little detail thought of. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Amazing location, just a short distance from Salisbury, very peaceful location. Enjoyed seeing all the animals around the farm. Lovely view of Salisbury Cathedral.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Cotswold. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Besonders das großzügige Kinderzimmer hat den jungen Gästen gefallen. Neben der Lage mitten in der Natur war der Games Room ein weiteres Highlight, was von den Kindern gern genutzt wurde. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und gut zu erreichen. Wir haben auf Empfehlung die kleinen Pubs der Umgebung besucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Eine Bushaltestelle für Fahrten nach Oxford ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Oxfordshire.

Lovely homely stay, very comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen and brilliant hot tub! Donna was so welcoming, helpful and responsive if needed. We went on some great days out to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole, plus Tyntesfield. The area was very quiet, the road did not bother us at all and we had an excellent meal at the local pub the Litton, would highly recommend.

The Stone Barn is set in a beautiful location and the place itself is amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The barn is exactly as described and fitted out well with everything you would need. Nicky and Mark were great hosts, providing detailed check in and parking information as well as initial essential items in the barn. We are already looking for our next excuse to stay here again.

We loved our stay at the barn.The place was immaculate and very welcoming. The place itself had everything you need, it is very well though trough.Very nicely done up, there’s definitely an eye for the attention to details.We are a family of 4, 2 little ones under 8, we has some lovely bike rides and lovely teas at the Amberley inn and the Black Horse.We did the Stroud rail trail by bike, going towards Stonehouse,it wasn’t that great we ended up cycling along a dual carriageway, not great with little ones.But toward Nailsworth there’s a little cycling trail,which was really good fun, it’s not big but enough for a couple of jumps, and a few bumps.The property is facing a lovely field with Jasper and Petal the 2 local horses,and they’ll be happy to welcome you in the neighbourhood. The kids were very cosy upstairs and downstairs was great with a toasty fireplace. My hubby is quite tall so the bed unfortunate l’y was on the small side for us, nevertheless the mattress is very comfy

Die Unterlunft war kleiner als erwartet, aber dennoch makellos sauber, mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, wir haben darin super geschlafen. Alles da, was man in einer Küche so brauchen könnte… und mit kleinen Willkommensgeschenken… das hat uns sehr gefreut. Der Garten sieht zauberhaft aus. Trotz Hauptstraße ist es nicht zu laut. Sam und Adrian sind entzückend, sehr nett und immer gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. 100% Empfehlung. 👍🏻

It was our second stay at the old stable. We feel like home and can’t wait to come back. Gillian is a great host and the house a great location to explore the Cotswolds.

Felt like a home away from home. spotless and had everything we needed, the perfect little touches of teas, milk , butter and sugar so saved having to buy any for a weekend. Mel was a lovely host and was fast at replying. Loved sitting by the fire of an evening, very relaxing. Would love to go back and make more memories.

This is the perfect accommodation in a charming village. The interior is decorated with great taste and is located in an imposing old barn. Everything you need for an extended stay in this beautiful countryside. There are countless footpaths to choose from. Make sure your legs are strong!

Sandy’s place for a 10 minute walk from our friends who live in Milton-under-Wychwood. Perfect location for us. The dogs loved the green opposite and great to have the Coop in walking distance too. The barn was warm and cosy with all the facilities we needed. Beds were really comfortable. We visited Fire and Wine for pizza which we would definitely recommend, also FarmEd which was really interesting. We also visited Stow-on-the-Wold and the Hawkstone brewery. Next time we would like to explore Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford. Would definitely like to stay there again when we next visit our friends.

Carol’s place is very comfortable and luxurious - just as described in the listing. It’s a perfect location within walking distance of all the amenities in the lovely village of Marshfield and close to Bath and Bristol. Highly recommended.

The best place we’ve stayed in. Clean, lots of character, and for a nature lover deer in the garden from time to time. Cheryl was really proactive, friendly and flexible. With thanks also to her good friend Helen. Would 100% visit again. Very soon we hope.

We had the most wonderful time at The Old House Barn. The quaint barn is styled to perfection, creating a cosy and serene atmosphere that was ideal for relaxing in the breathtaking beautiful countryside. The modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable allowing us to cook meals after a day of visiting nearby villages. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the delicious treat that greeted us on arrival. We couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect stay. the village of Bourton is very picturesque and the surroundings are inviting. we were busy out and about with our dogs during the day. we walked the dogs around the village in the morning and evening meeting other dogs and owners. The Dutch Barn is tucked away and just right for our stay away. many thanks Helen regards Jon

we had a wonderful New Year stay at this gorgeous barn. We received a very warm welcome from Jack, Hayley and Meadow and soon settled in. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area is beautiful. The barn was warm and cosy and the views from the windows were stunning. Our dogs enjoyed the walks in the surrounding fields and copse, especially the stream. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely like to return.
