Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

This place was awesome for our family. My younger daughter and husband have a toddler and the accommodations were perfect. The dock and all of the water sports equipment was a huge hit. We kayaked , and fished. My oldest daughter did a plunge in the lake ( mind you it’s October!!!). Every morning I sat on the dock watched the sun come up and enjoyed the views and wildlife. Having a properly equipped kitchen was an added bonus. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we like we were at home. Dry peaceful and quiet. Looking forward to a return trip.

We had a lovely stay. The house is across the street from the lake and surrounded by woods. Beautiful tall white birches outside of the back door. We heard a barred owl and a loon on the lake. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. This was a perfect place to stay for our nephews wedding. We hiked the round top trail in Belgrade, which we recommend. We had breakfast at Java Joe’s in Farmington, very good

The location of this property is unbeatable. Close enough to town, but lakeside down a quiet wooded road. Kids were thoroughly entertained with the outdoors, and my son caught his first fish off the dock to round out a memorable weekend.

Such a beautiful property! The river & waterfall are gorgeous! Would live to come back in summer to enjoy the outside. We visited in Jan for my sons wedding but would love to come back in warmer weather. The hone is so cozy and was very clean. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

This house was incredible! Extremely spacious, clean, and private. Located on the back side of a farm we had our own space which was very much appreciated by our dogs who could run around the fields. Brad was so welcoming and responsive! He was flexible and friendly. We stayed to visit a family member in the hospital but will book again in the future for a vacation because the location was that beautiful.

Easy-to-find location, beautifully designed apartment, squeaky clean kitchen, and a VERY comfortable bed. It is an older and creakier building, so you can hear the people above and around you, but it didn’t impact sleep. Heather was also accommodating to a last-minute late checkout, which was really appreciated. Highly, highly recommend.

Lovely and peaceful! I loved the quiet time to myself for these two nights and this was the perfect place for it.

We've had visiting family stay at both of Pamela's locations several times. This time I also got to stay for a visit with a friend. The apartment is lovely, unique, and immaculate. It's located in a great walkable area of charming Hallowell, with its history, arts, restaurants, walking trails, and fun shops. As a local, I can confirm that the resource notebook will help you select from that greater Hallowell has to offer!

Unfortunately I had to stay at Mark's place for 2.5 months when a pipe burst at my house. However-the place was exactly what I needed for a long term stay. I came with my dog and our long term stay was very nice. Kitchen had everything I needed. Mark was responsive throughout the stay and checked to make sure things were going well. The property is private with a lot of land--gorgeous views. Highly recommend to anyone coming through this area of Maine!
