Had a great easter family holiday at the Woodbank School House. Despite some inclement weather the cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable. There is lots to do in the local area and we'll hopefully be back to do some of the things that weren't possible this time. Our young people particularly enjoyed playing Pickle Ball on the old school tennis court next door.

We really enjoyed being in the quieter part of the township and being so close to the beach. We walked over the hill, into the centre of Kaikoura and then back around the coast, enjoying the beautiful views. This was. Great place to stay.

Thank you Lynette, we really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect spot to watch the sea and easy walking into town. The apartment was super clean and was well equipped for our stay over the Easter weekend. We would be more than happy to come and stay again.

This apartment opening out onto the beautiful Kaikoura Bay was fantastic. We awoke to a beautiful sunrise both mornings from our bedroom. The apartment was Immaculately presented with attention to detail in all aspects. It boasts quality fittings, towels, linen etc. Proximity to the local picture theater allowed me to nip next door to watch 'Tina' which I thoroughly loved. Walking distance to restraunts. Very, very good value for money.

The Beachfront Escape

Wonderful stay for our family of 6, could really fit many more. The location is stunning, looking out at the ocean and mountains. Very walk-able to the Peninsula Trail. Had everything (and more) that we needed! Had fun with the pool table and a puzzle as well. Very clean. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely stay! Location was perfect and walk along the beach was beautiful. Short drive into the town centre which had great food selection. Accommodation was modern and clean. Comfy bed and just a great vibe overall.

Amazing location, view and outdoor area. Comfy beds, big bathroom, awesome kitchen for self catering. Loved all the thoughtful extras around the place. Enjoyed the spa and next time hope to enjoy the outdoor equipment. Great host.

The Oceanview Suite

I can only say that I wish we had more time to enjoy the tranquility of this place. Everything was beautiful and relaxing. Bed was super comfortable. We strolled through the beautiful grounds, had wine overlooking the ocean watching surfers. Unfortunately the dolphins didn’t want to come out and play.

Beautiful secluded space with lots of personality. We had the bad luck of being there during torrential rainfall so we weren't able to take advantage of the lovely outdoor surrounds, but nevertheless we stayed cosy inside riding out the weather. Tessa and Korey were very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The Factory Kaikoura Luxury Accommodation

We loved staying here. Sean and Skip have done a wonderful job restoring the factory to make it super comfortable, including under floor heating and indoor fire for cold wintery days. It's just across the road from the beach and we opened the windows at night and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep. Sean took time with us on arrival to show us all the things about the house and was super responsive to a query we had after that. We loved the outdoor fire pit (and the super sized marshmallows for toasting!) and sitting in the spa looking at the stars was beautiful. We didn't realise that there are two parts to the factory and that they can be joined together for a larger group, but appreciate that Sean and Skip only ever book one side (or it as a whole) at a time so you aren't sharing it with strangers. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Kaikoura Luxury Apartments: with Courtyard

Great place to stay, everything was clean and tidy. Check in/out was easy and the apartment looked exactly like the photos. We have motobikes so being able to have our bikes parked around the back not visible from the road was fantastic.

This was a great place to stay in Kaikoura for myself and my two friends. The apartment had everything we needed and was an easy walking distance to restaurants. I would recommend booking somewhere for dinner to avoid having to wait. I would certainly recommend John's place.

Fiona was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous - just as in the photos. A really special and beautiful home in the most amazing location - literally across the road from the beach. The apartment was filled with welcoming and thoughtful gestures including Easter eggs and hot cross buns, as well as fruit, milk and bread (on top of a well-stocked pantry). Would highly recommend and would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean. Location is amazing. We really appreciate for providing all basic facilities which is Air BnB standard. Also, balcony is best place in house to sit and have food and drinks while looking stunning views of sea and mountains

We really enjoyed our two day break at Poppy's place. Very close to the waterfront and loved watching the sunrises in the morning. Easy 10 min walk to the restaurants and shops. The apartment was well equipped with comfy beds and clean utensils.

Layout of the home is a little unique, but the view is what makes this gem special! Had so much fun seeing an Orka offshore and some penguins on a rollercoaster ride. Thanks to the host for providing binoculars!

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful location in walking distance to a lovely trail! Very nice accommodation! Raylene was so very kind!!!! She was wonderful with communicating and very accommodating when we accidentally left something behind and went back to retrieve it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Raylene!!!!
