Absolutely loved staying at this property! The view was amazing and location was great. House is clean and tidy. Easy to get into the property. Facilities and amenities were all thought well.

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !

We had a lovely stay in this little Bach. Beautiful views and a great holiday feel. The beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was amazing - enjoyed the gas hob and the dishwasher.

Had a wonderful stay in Kaikōura! The scenery was absolutely stunning — waking up to mountain and ocean views was unforgettable. The location made it super easy to get into the town centre, and the place itself had everything we needed: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Would definitely stay again!

A couple of things, Pet/Park fee: If you’re bringing a pet, you’ll pay an extra fee on top of the Airbnb rate. TinyAway listed it, but it wasn’t obvious. My partner and I missed it when we reviewed the listing and only realized it after booking. We share some responsibility, but it could’ve been clearer. The drive up: 4WD is essential for steep areas unsuitable for city cars. Driving up and down the mountain was terrifying but memorable. Pictures of retrieving the key would’ve been helpful. Summer: We visited in the summer, and it was extremely hot. We couldn’t spend time outside because of the flies. This isn’t a complaint about our hosts, but a heads up for anyone coming in the summer. Hosts: TinyAway as the main host were very responsive, sub host Tim was not, so that could be improved. View: The view is absolutely gorgeous. Loved it. Home: I thought the home was clean, my partner thought the fridge wasn’t. Eco-toilet took a little getting used to. Bring your own food/snacks.

Dejligt hus med en hyggelig have til. God lokation i byen. Vi havde desværre mange myrer på nogle af værelserne, men ellers nød vi virkelig vores ophold.

Stunning new home in perfect location for short walk to Kaikoura waterfront and South Bay. Clean, beautifully appointed, spectacular view, peaceful, private. Expensive stay but it is a high quality home.

We loved this place. Ideal for our family and had everything we needed. Loads of space. Would recommend and hope to return for longer next time.

Although it was only one night, it was a special experience. Being able to hear the voices of animals and birds so close is another perk of this hotel. The feeding, which started at 9 a.m.was a particularly exciting experience for our children. This is a highly recommended accommodation for those who are highly environmentally conscious. thanks！

We had a faultless stay - the yurt was so fun, very well decorated, well equipped with coffee, tea, farm fresh eggs, bread and jam. The bed and chairs were very comfortable and the kitchen was clean and well equipped also - nice and rustic! We love camping and this was super fun glamping. Don't expect a 5 star resort, it's a unique glamping experience - we've never seen anything like it and we loved it! We went on a llama trek one day (highly recommend - another unique experience!) and fed the animals on the farm the following day - a really great experience! They have other "wacky" accommodation too including a train carriage, teepee, gypsy truck and large old horse drawn wagon - so cool! Would definitely want to try out the wagon next time too... Kevin was friendly, welcoming and helpful! Genuinely loved this place. A highlight of our two weeks in NZ for sure!

Leanne was a fantastic host! She has a beautiful home/oasis right by the ocean that everyone should come and enjoy! From the beach out front, to the large deck, morning and afternoon trains passing by (which by the way weren’t that noisy inside) and even the spa! All of it was exactly as we expected! Leanne was prompt in communicating and ensured we had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back for another stay soon!

we loved it. very spacious with room for our family of 4. very close to Kaikoura proper, super close to the shore and a gorgeous track. owners are great with great recommendations. we'd def stay again if we come back to New Zealand. gorgeous area!

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. Thank you Jennifer for the hospitality and god bless you.

Really quite and beautiful place, enjoy the time in the mountains

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.

We enjoyed staying here for 1 night - wish it was longer! Amazing location and loved the views overlooking mountains from the deck and sunroom.

If you’re adventurous and enjoy unique places, then like us, you’ll love this place!Thankfully for us the weather cleared the afternoon we arrived and we had fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Some persistent stoking of the hot tub paid off and a good relaxing soak in steaming hot water as the clouds rolled in and rain started in the late evening was beautiful!
