The house is spacious (two bedrooms and a living room) and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden and the cozy winter lounge are great spots to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, just two metro stops away from the Bosphorus shore (Üsküdar). From there, you can easily get anywhere in Istanbul by metro, bus, or ferry. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and some are open all night.

It was truly impressive to book an apartment with Mohsum. Despite a conflict in the booking, his exceptional handling and flexibility were greatly appreciated. The altrnative given apartment or villa to me was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and situated in a peaceful area with a perfect location. I deeply value the hospitality provided and would gladly rebook the same apartment/villa

Genialt sted at bo! Meget charmerende og cool sted midt i Balat. Tagterrassen er helt fantastisk med flot udsigt over byen og Det Gyldne Horn.

Esra’s home is beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained. She was always available and incredibly hospitable, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures and has everything needed for a hassle free getaway. It’s in a perfect location just far enough away to have a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Çengelköy while also being within walking distance of the heart of the neighborhood. The garden with all the cat visitors was especially loved by our child. Thanks to Jackie and Seyit for being great hosts!

the moment I arrived he made sure to give me instructions very detailed and welcomed me warmly and everything was as described and everytime I annoy him with questions he quickly respond which is very very good manners , I highly recommend his place especially with that price

We had a very nice stay. Volkan replied immediately, gave clear self check-in instructions, and there was always 'staff' nearby who could come to the apartment within 15 minutes if we needed help. When our toilet didn’t flush upon arrival, someone came to fix it right away. When our toilet paper was almost finished, we received new rolls. The apartment is brighter than it appears in the photos, thanks to two street-facing windows. I had feared it would be too dark, but that wasn’t the case. The location (New European Quarter) is great—close to Galata Tower, Taksim Square (full of restaurants and shops), and fancy hotels like the Pera Palace, where Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express. Do note that the area is noisy both day and night, and the flat is not well insulated against sound. Streetlights prevent full darkness, even with curtains. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a sleep mask. Bus, metro and train stops are 3-10 min away—leading to the 'Old city'.

Только сегодня выехали из квартиры. С самого начала хозяин был всегла на связи и быстро отвечал на любые вопросы. Вообще, их несколько ребят. Мы сами лично видели Исмаила, который нас встретил в первый день и ло последнего дня был на связи. Они, как я поняла, круглосуточно меняются, кто- то ночью работает, кто- то днем. Когда только вошли в квартиру, на первый взгляд (возможно, из- за того что было прохладно), квартира показалась неуютной и меньше чем на фото. Но как только температуру в квартире сделали теплее, стало очень уютно. Возможно другим не будет прохладно, мы из Казахстана и привыкли жить зимой с отоплением и быть в тепле😊 Квартира современная, чистая, постельное белье чистое, все удобно и комфортно. По моему запросу, мне принесли еще одну кровать в гостиную. Есть два телевизора, посудомоечная машина, утюг, гладильная доска, фен. В квартире убирались. Любые наши запросы своевременно исполнялись. Один минус (возможно для пожилых людей), местность тут прилично холмистая.

The location is really strategic to explore Istanbul. Public transport is very reachable. Good restaurants are just around the neighborhood. Yildiz is very responsive and willing to help. The hospitality provided is second to none. There is some languange barrier at some point, but overall, the sincere heart is really shown. We are moving in a big group. Even so, the friendliness shown by Yildiz is outstanding.

Firat was a great host and met us at his apartment as we left the taxi. Taxi from the airport cost about 1500 tl depending on how busy the traffic is. The apartment was just as described and spotlessly clean. Although the apartment is a few kilometers from old Istanbul, this never presented a problem as there were many bus options from the bus station (Kurtulus) 5/6 min walk away. I recommend getting a Istanbulkarte at the airport as we couldn't find a machine to buy one nearby. There is a very long shopping street which starts at the bus station and contains every shop imaginable including a Super Carrefour supermarket. Walking to Taksim Square takes about 30 mins but be prepared for steep hills. We did the walk a few times and we are both pensioners. If in Istanbul again we would have no hesitation in booking Firat's apartment again.
