The stay at Todd and Lori’s was something out of a DREAM! The upstairs balcony is stunning and always has a great breeze so you’re never too hot! The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything you need is there snorkel gear to kitchen utensils. It’s close to many things off the beaten path which makes it perfect so you don’t run into too many people! Delicious food is right around the corner too!

Savoir quelle vue ! Construction récente dans un coin très tranquille retiré du tourisme . La piscine est magnifique, la terrasse parfaite. C'est suffisamment grand et Mirka a pris soin de me demander mon choix de chambre pour les enfants avant notre arrivée. Le logement était propre. Il est très bien équipé . Il y a même des serviettes de plages et des tapis de yoga Il y a deux à trois chiens qui viennent vous saluer . Ils ne sont pas méchants mais aiment manger les sandales si vous les laissez dehors. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, merci Mirka pour votre disponibilité . On regrette déjà de ne pas être resté chez nous !

We had such an amazing stay! Amanda was extremely accommodating and we couldn’t ask for a better place to spend a few nights in the eastern side of the island. The views were breathtaking, and the pool was the perfect way to cool off after long days in the sun. The house had everything we needed and more—we especially adored the sweet pup who hangs around outside—such a sweetie! The area is extremely private with little to do but it allows for a complete unplugged experience. Camp Bay Beach nearby was a peaceful escape—we were the only ones on the beach. We tried Wagundan Restaurant nearby—highly recommend the machuca (seafood soup)! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us.

Disclaimer: we actually stayed at the house next door so this is not representative of this exact listing. However, what I can share about it is that the surroundings are extremely beautiful and quiet even if just off the main road. A manager is available in case you might need anything. And most importantly the house was extremely well equipped and I can assume this might be the case for all of the listings from the owners, better equipped than my own place. Overall, great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We spent almost all of our time there either on the pier, on the beach or in the pool, the only other people we saw were the hosts. The scenery is amazing! The water was see through and warm. To do it all over again, we would have taken Mariolas recommendation on a day boat for snorkeling as the kayaking was a little difficult due to high winds, so we did not get to do any real snorkeling, but theres always next time. We brought our own food up with us, because we knew we were well off the beaten path(rent an SUV for this ride) but did stop in to eat at La Sirena and the food and setting were great. For the better part of a week, all we did was rest and recharge, and it was all we wanted! Highly recommend this spot!

Un lugar precioso y con muchas comodidades que se necesitan fuera de un ambiente ruidoso de la ciudad. Una linda ubicación para explorar la otra parte de la isla que casi nadie conoce. Muy lindo lugar y con excelentes condiciones. Impecable!!!!

This place is amazing. If you truly want to take in the cultural side of Roatan and have the most gorgeous sunsets to wind down to after the day this is your place. Beautiful taste in art, architecture, and decor. A very well built home with a unique floor plan to entertain. There are enough restaurants and activities nearby with your rental car, but you can still make a day drive to the west end if you want to make a day out of it. The caretaker Omar is wonderful and great to have nearby. Would gladly stay again. Private location but just off the road. :) Sheri and Brian were helpful making sure we were set up. Great job, everyone!

Unfortunately, I could not stay here because my flight got cancelled, so here is the review from my friend who was there: Sherri’s place is very clean and beautiful! It is well-stocked with useful things. I enjoyed my stay.

Only access to the home is a 10 minute boat ride from land to the house. Owners Robert and Jenny have the boats and will provide taxi service for a fee. Great people, always willing to help with anything. It's a lovely, new home, ideal for 2 couples. One suite upstairs with private sitting area, and balcony, the other bedroom on the main floor for those who don't like stairs. It's a fishing enthusiast retreat. Robert is the fly fishing expert, and Jenny is the tuna and wahoo expect, or anything else biting. It's like an all inclusive because you can book your fishing outings with them, and they live next door. Home is on the East End of the island. The most populated, touristy areas are the West End and West Bay which is an hour drive by land. This home sits on piles, in the water and it faces East so you get gorgeous sunrises. Tradewinds keep the misquotes and bugs away...not one bite. We spent hours sitting on the multiple decks in 80 degree weather. Great 3 week stay!

100% need a car for the location but the spot is ideal for those looking to explore the east side of the island. With a car you are within 30 minutes to beaches, beach clubs, restaurants, small grocery shops. A short 10/15 min walk to Punta Gorda for evening drinks or dinner watching the sunset. Quiet and safe area. Soccer field next door for morning exercise or night time star gazing. Free to use kayaks and laundry was amazing. Kitchen very well stocked. Shower was great, big bathroom. The extra Couch bed/futon was comfortable. Fast wifi, cold A/C, drinking water from the tap!!! We recommend Punta Gorda sundays, La Sirena, Beach Day pass at Media Luna ($10), Comedor Gabriela, Hole in the wall plus the boat ride ($20 from HITW) to the mangroves and ask to stop at Happys landing too! The Hosts were fast to response always! Would stay again and would recommend.

Ceux qui se plaignent de ce logement peuvent aller se rhabiller! Cet endroit est absolument parfait. Amoureux de nature, d’endroits moins touristiques, d’une expérience authentique près des villages et de la population locale, c’est par ici. Le logement est spacieux, à tout le nécessaire et même plus, les hôtes répondent très rapidement aux messages et toujours prêts à aider, un deck avec des hamacs idylliques pour le café du matin ou un moment parfait de détente, un espace lumineux, cozy, au bout du monde ou presque! Un lit très confortable. Seul conseil: comme c’est près des mangroves, beaucoup de moustique à l’extérieur, amenez du chasse-moustique et tout ira bien!!! J’y ai passé 4 nuits, mais Je serais restée une semaine de plus!!

My partner and I loved our time at Starfish house. We wanted to get off the beaten path of the more touristy areas of the island and get some privacy. The house is gorgeous. The quality & cleanliness of the home was at a standard found in the US, which is uncommon in Roatan. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves & paddleboardng out to snorkel on the reef. We found lots of starfish & conch! Keep in mind: 1)We were under the impression that the beach front/community was private, but it isn't. we arrived to local children climbing on house stuff and trying to come to the top deck while I was sunbathing. The owners took care of this, but locals were still fishing in front of our place & on the dock the entirety of our stay. We adjusted our expectatons & it was fine, but would've been nice to know ahead of time. 2.) Use bug spray. The bugs will get you sooner or later, luckily we've lived in the tropics before so are used to it.

We Completely fell in love with this house. The Pictures do not do justice at all. The views were amazing waking up too. They Provided everything that we needed for a great vacation. They were really friendly and had great Communication from start to finish . The caretaker (Tie tie ) was supper nice , and took care of all our needs , he showed us around on the boat, gave us a history lesson on island . Over all The house is a must if you need to unwind and disconnect . I do recommend a 4wheel drive , since the roads leading up to the house is made of dirt . We also learned that even though they(locals and some stores ) accept US cash ,the US bills can’t be ripped or written on. Thank you for A great vacation !!
