We stayed at the cozy beach cottage for a "girls trip" for three busy moms looking for a peaceful retreat for the weekend. The house was just as described - cute, clean, and cozy. We appreciated Kenzi's attention to detail and clear instructions, as well as local restaurant recommendations. This house is one block from the ocean; an easy stroll to watch the sunset from beach. We appreciate that the house had everything we needed and required no tasks for checkout. Thank you Kenzi for allowing us a weekend of rest and relaxation!

Great location near many of our favorite spots. Kristin’s place is very charming and made us feel right at home. It was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The kids enjoyed seeing the chickens in the backyard. Location is great- we enjoyed walking, it is a very quiet area. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. If you have kids, take note that the play set is no longer there!

A+++ From the front door to the sand is only a football field away! New and pristine house. Host is incredibly responsive. Peaceful and clean beach. Close to shopping and VA beach boardwalk is only 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

Melinda’s apartment was so homey and inviting. We loved spending time here. It was the perfect place to relax and a great jumping off point for all the sites we wanted to see. The neighborhood was quiet and the space had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the best stays we had in Richmond. Very easy going, and exactly what was needed.

Our stay was awesome! The self check in was flawless. The place, along with the view is simply breathtaking. During our time there, snow was on the ground, deer was on the property (and I mean a lot!) every day, what else could you want. We were there for a family gathering, and I can say that Bruce’s place totally served that purpose. We had more than enough space, the accommodations were great. We also enjoyed the fireplace, and roasting marshmallows and s’mores at the fire pit. Overall, it was nice just to get away from the everyday hustle for a while. So I can honestly say that I was completely satisfied, because during my stay there, It totally served that purpose.

Roger’s beach house was charming. It was an older-style home with many modern updates. Quick and easy walking path to the beach. The pool in the backyard was lovely. It was a little dirty upon arriving and Roger came right over and got it all cleaned up for us during our stay. The neighborhood was a little rough we did have a few uncomfortable encounters with homeless people being two girls alone it was a little unsettling. Overall, I would definitely come back again. The weather was absolutely beautiful for our stay.

Excellent stay at RivahLife! The views were spectacular and the home was exactly as described. Easy to find with lots of stuff for the kids and adults. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months as the fishing, boating, and swimming would be more desirable. Thanks for the high chair and portable crib. Those things really help when traveling with kids.

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

My family and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway for some snow sports to enjoy! Sara’s place was in easy walking distance to Wintergreen Resort. The sidewalk connecting to the parking lots was a big plus to make it a safe walk to and from the resort. My family and I definitely enjoyed the games that were provided by Sara as well! Thanks for a clean and amazing stay!

Great place to stay!! Had everything we were looking for and location was perfect!

The cabin was perfect for my solo adventure in the area. At first glance the outside was more rustic than expected, but I suspect when the hundreds of flower bulbs surrounding this 100+ year old "shed" come into bloom it will be beautiful. The inside was spotless, and Trish went above and beyond by placing an unexpected supply of muffins, OJ, and other snacks in the room (and "beverages" in the minifridge!). The grounds of this location were beautiful even in pre-Springtime conditions, and I can imagine how much fun it would be to stay here in the Summer when the pool is open. Guests have access to a full scale gym in one of the outbuildings, the firepit was loaded with wood (there's a gas BBQ too). And for those that love history, make sure to take a visit inside of the Summer kitchen building which is full of antique furniture, crockery, colonial tools, and of course the massive stone fireplace and all of its cooking utensils. As a history lover, this was icing on the cake!

Beautiful location. Room for several family members. Nice pool, deck, fire pits and chairs. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. Expect to see deer playing in the field. I will say, if you’re a light sleeper you will hear every single board creak with any movement. The only couch is also in the basement, so no room to comfortably sit inside and visit. Plenty of wooden chairs at the dinning table, just not as comfy.

Another wonderful stay at Oakwood cottage. Hunter is an incredibly responsive, thoughtful host, the cottage is charming and homey...we settled in immediately, just like the last time we stayed here. Hope to visit again next year!

The location and all amenities were as described! Simone was extremely proactive about reaching out and checking in throughout our stay. Place was clean. Was a great, walkable neighborhood for my dog and I, and the fenced in backyard was a bonus! It is chain-link and not particularly high, so just keep that in mind depending on your dog’s needs.

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

My husband and I visited Mariah’s place for a quick getaway, and I wish we could have stayed longer! Mariah’s home was equipped with everything we needed, as well as many unexpected amenities (fresh cream for coffee, snacks, and a “treat” area for pups) that made our stay relaxing. Mariah was very responsive and accommodating, with quick and helpful answers to our questions. Her space was spotless and located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely wooded view from the windows near the bedroom area - but also less than 10 minutes to Main St. and many other restaurants. The location is hard to beat. We would absolutely stay again!

The place was quaint and just like the photos—very cozy and clean. The host was responsive and made communication easy. Great little spot for a peaceful stay! My sisters and I had a lovely visit. Thank you!

It was such an amazing experience. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The backyard was magical, and as we were doing art together, the decor in the house was inspiration everywhere you turned. Highly recommend it.
