My husband and I had a great stay at this cute little home. Everything was extremely clean and decorated to feel luxurious. We really enjoyed being so close to the water/beaches, 15 minute drive to shopping and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We took full advantage of the hot tub and it was our absolute favorite amenity offered, but we really loved the screened in porch as well. We would definitely come back to this area and consider staying here again! My only notes would be to add a few more pavers around the hot tub to make getting in and out in your bare feet more comfortable, and maybe a larger shower head to make rinsing long hair out easier. Overall, this trip was exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet get away for our anniversary and this place made it easy to do so!

This property was everything I wanted and more. My best friend and I spent my birthday weekend here and we were beyond impressed with this beautiful home. It was perfect for what we needed and we felt right at home immediately. The bed was extremely comfortable and so was the couch in the living room. From cozy blankets to the stunning decor, the relaxing hot tub, almost 360 mountain views, I couldn’t have asked for a better bday weekend getaway. Our gracious host, Ashley, was super communicative and all instructions for check-in and check-out were crystal clear. She is an excellent host and I am already excited to come back and stay at this property again!

My partner and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway at this beautiful A-frame cabin! The setting is peaceful and surrounded by trees, which made it feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin itself is gorgeous—thoughtfully designed, clean, and cozy, with lovely touches that made it feel like home. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time at the private dock on the nearby lake. It was such a peaceful spot to sit, talk, and take in the scenery—especially in the morning with our coffee! The quiet, natural surroundings made everything feel calm and restorative. The host was wonderful: kind, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a restful retreat. We’d absolutely love to return!

The place was cute, well decorated and spacious. The hot tub was wonderful after many strenuous hikes in Shenandoah. Kids enjoyed the foosball and air hockey, and s'mores over the solo stove. Beds were comfy.

This place was super cute and an easy drive to different places like Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns! Unfortunately some of the restaurants and distilleries recommend were closed while we were there but the house was great and Olivia was amazing!

I truly can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb! My wife and I travel a decent bit and this was by far one of the most memorable experiences we had staying at an Airbnb. The location is perfect, it is cozy and private with beautiful 360 mountain views but still only 20 mins to downtown Harrisonburg where we enjoyed great restaurants and shops. It’s also very close to Shenandoah National Park where we went for a hike. The cottage itself offers more than enough to keep you entertained whether sitting in the hot tub or walking down to the river access, we couldn’t have been happier! We will absolutely be coming back!

Sarah's place was perfect for a quick weekend getaway! It was rainy and cold during our stay, so we didn't get to use the outdoor space as much as we'd like. However, the inside was perfectly cozy and beautifully decorated! It was a great spot to relax, turn off our phones, and just enjoy being together. We will definitely be back, and hopefully have warmer weather next time!

We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage had a peaceful, garden-like charm that made it feel like a true retreat. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful—everything we could possibly need was provided, and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. It was cozy, comfortable, and felt instantly welcoming. One of our favorite features was the wood stove. It added so much warmth (literally and emotionally!) and made the evenings feel extra special. Kind of bummed I was only here for the one night because this was such a great, comfortable place and near a lot of cool stuff. It was a layover stop on a long drive, but exactly what I needed. So cute and I loved the very secure and private yard for my canine roadtrip partner. I can't get over the awesome spa shower, which was the highlight of my night. The recliner sofa was so comfortable that I unintentionally passed out for most of the night there and then relocated to the bed, which was also lovely. I would definitely look here first if I'm in the area again, and hopefully stay longer to take advantage of the location more. Thank you!

Very peaceful and lots of nature and animals to see

We had such an enjoyable trip staying at this perfect cottage. The location was amazing-short walk to a tranquil beach that felt like our own little escape. The landscaping and yard were beautiful! The place felt like a peaceful retreat. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed even a thoughtful welcome basket. It truly was the perfect getaway and just what we needed to recharge. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to the Pink Cottage and it lived up to the fond memories I made during my earlier January visit. I love the comfortable whimsical decor of the cottage, the fully functional kitchen, comfy queen bedroom and the large fenced yard. My dog is in heaven here! Eli is a gem of a host and I can't wait for my next visit.

This was an amazing Air BnB find ! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was close to everything, including the local brewery, beach, restaurants and shopping. There was nothing lacking in this rental. We traveled with two small dogs and they loved it too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We would definitely come back!

Billy's has become our hideaway from Northern Virginia over the last 3 years. Love the peace and quiet and natural surroundings. If you love to hike, there are numerous trails to visit and, of course, excellent breweries and wineries nearby as well.

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

We had a great time! We were able to get away for a quick trip before the baby arrives which was refreshing!!

Me and my boyfriend wanted to find a place to get away and this was a great spot to feel especially near the wonderful beach & setting, We love their backyard and creative decoration in the cottage!

Such a wonderful stay at The Courtyard Cottage. Our hosts were thoughtful and available when needed and the cottage was charming with all the essentials for a home away from home. We were very pleased with the fenced in courtyard, which was truly relaxing and peaceful, the location between beach and playground, and all the touches that made us feel at home.

The Peony Cottage was better than what the pictures portrayed. The hosts were very friendly, the beds and linens were nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage was extremely clean, had a thoughtful layout, was in a quiet setting, and had plenty of wood for the outdoor fire pit. The hosts thought of every nice amenity including fresh tulips on the kitchen table! Highly recommend!

Ben was a perfect host. Very communicative and will do whatever it takes to make the stay as good as possible. Beautiful property and very cool layout with multiple dwellings on the property. So many beds! Great lakefront just an easy walk down from the main house. The deck with fire pit and outdoor TV along with the wiffle ball field make for a great place to hangout and spend the day with your group! Would definitely book again!
