We couldn’t have been more pleased with this Air B&B. Cary was an amazing host that was quick to respond to any of our questions/inquiries. The house was even more beautiful in person and had more space than what we planned for. Highly recommended to anyone looking to visit the local area or plan a private getaway!

Always a great stay at Wayward Cottage

An easy place to stay with kids. Jaims was a great host. The space is very welcoming. Scottsboro is very close for any groceries / easy dining out. Lake Guntersville has a lot of scenic spots to be on the water. The place will be perfect when there's a dock at the house, but was easy enough to go over to the boat ramp. Great stay to get away and shut off!

We had a wonderful stay. The view is amazing. Seriously the prettiest view we’ve ever seen. The cabin was very unique being built under the pool deck. We went into TN and had supper at The Top of the Rock and it was wonderful. Definitely planning on coming back.

The Barndominium was like a small 3 bedroom cabin. The tongue and groove walls and ceiling really made it feel like a forest gateway. The indoor pool was great, especially the hot tub and the view. The kids loved the resident ducks and made friends with the free-roaming horses. We kept it simple and cooked our own meals in the kitchen, including hamburgers on the grill. We hiked, went to the dam, stood on 3 states at once, and visited Cloudland Canyon and a rock garden in the way home. It was a great time, and when it was over we cleaned everything and left the Barndominium as we found it. This was an easy drive from Atlanta, and it's close to Chattanooga, so I would love to return and explore the area further.

We came into town for my daughters wedding. Although we weren't at the house very kuch, we thoroughly enjoyed the property. It is very clean, neat and beautifully landscaped! I would definitely come back & hopefully next time, just relax & enjoy this lovely home!

Great find in Scottsboro. Cost less than staying at any of the higher class hotels in the area but way more space, freedom and privacy. Came stocked with everything you need for your stay including a washer, dryer and dish washing machine. Quiet location with tons of parking space. Keyless entry and nearby quite a number of restaurants and minutes to downtown. Will be my to-go place to rent every time I visit Scottsboro

Bear Brow was the perfect getaway. It has a beautiful view for sunsets and just to take in the fresh air. It was exactly as described and you feel at home as soon as you walk in the front door. Would 1000% stay here again.

Absolutely amazing stay. We came as a family of 6 for a fishing trip, had plenty of parking for our 3 trucks and boats. Electric hookups for the boats. Did not have to disconnect. Home was spotless and owners were super friendly. Will definitely return! Very impressed and plenty of room for our family.

We had a great time at the lake house. We could easily spread out. The two dining areas were great for the kids. We enjoyed the hammocks and the kayaks. The host was very friendly and responsive.

Great location and very close to all ramps. Jon was a very good host. Very responsive and helped us with an early check-in. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for the perfect setup.

We booked the house for a father/son fishing trip with another father/son but the house can accommodate a lot of people if needed. Everything you need is provided and more, well stocked kitchen including an air fryer. Beautiful view of lake with a dock. We didn’t realize the lake area around the house is a great area to fish until we caught several 5+ lb bass within site of the house and checked the internet which specifically mentions the honeycomb creek as a great place to catch fish. Easy drive into Guntersville for restaurants and grocery shopping. The hosts were great to communicate with, always responding very quick to my questions. We visit Gunterville lake often and will most certainly book this house again on our next trip.

we were in the area to cater a wedding. This house was exceptional!! So much time and care went into our arrival. Ammentites galore..organized. Literally nothing that I could not find. Very responsive and such sweet hosts. If we are ever in the area we will definitely stay again!! 10 Stars

The owner was very responsive. Very beautiful and clean home close to the water. Covered awning was perfect for our boat. Will definitely stay again.

Home was just as described. Clean and easy to access. Checkout was a breeze with very basic check out instructions. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

This place was such a peaceful getaway. Right on the water and a beautiful home. The house had everything you’d think of, from toiletries to k-cups, and even toys for our little ones! We enjoyed the outdoor areas while weather was good, and had space to play board games and watch movies while it stormed! The host was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely we returning to this Airbnb.
