This modern gem is a perfect escape for those seeking peace, quiet, and breathtaking views. Nestled in serene surroundings, the house is beautifully designed and exceptionally well equipped, offering all the comforts you could want.

Joan was super responsive. Although her instructions were limited to 2 pages, she answered any question I had within minutes. The area is lovely and she recommended The Brewery, which is a great restaurant with a wide selection of beers brewed on the premises. She also recommended a local weaver, which was a highlight of our stay. The house had what we needed. The heating boost was easy to use.

Booked this lovely stay last-minute and we were so impressed when we arrived! Amazing views, heating and fully equipped kitchen. They’ve thought of everything you might need for a cozy day in (including a speaker and jigsaw puzzles). Make sure you research supermarket opening hours before arrival. Would stay here again!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Altavaig. Le logement est parfaitement pensé pour des vacanciers. Nous étions deux couples avec un enfant et nous étions parfaitement à notre aise. Les instructions étaient claires. Le logement est situé au pied des Quiraing accessibles à pied et la côte aussi est accessible à pied et très belle. Vue imprenable depuis la maison !

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at The Bunker. The location is amazing - remote and peaceful and literally on the waterfront. The property has been renovated with love and with no expense spared on the fixtures and fittings. It’s warm and cosy and very comfortable. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend to others. Christina’s communications were also quick and friendly.

It’s a lovely and welcoming cottage, which is well equipped and in a beautiful part of the world. Some stunning coastline just a short drive away. I’d highly recommend the house if you want to get away from it all.

This place is amazing value and so much more than a B&B with private access and plenty of space, a very comfy bed and sofa. Christine and Howard are lovely hosts who make you feel really welcome and are on hand if you need anything but also respect your privacy. The welcome hamper is the best I've ever seen and was all much appreciated, and the kitchen was stocked with a wide range of breakfast cereals and tea and coffee. The apartment is in a beautiful and quiet location with views of sea and mountains at the front and easy access to Big Sand beach through the nearby campsite, yet only a short drive from all that Gairloch has to offer (my personal happy place being The Mountain bookshop and cafe!)

We had a lovely couple of days break at Ian’s. He greeted us and gave us all the information we would need for a quick check in. If you enjoy quirky, scenic, historic, picturesque accommodation and timeless scenery, this is the place for you. We have two dogs and they absolutely loved it! Great skies at night and the hot tub wasn’t too shabby either. The best quirk is the floating bridge which in certain weather conditions can be fun. It offers a unique and playful side to this wonderful look back to a time when things were “simpler”.

Fiona’s place was perfect for a quiet getaway with our kiddos. No frills, but no frills are needed when the place is filled with such loving touches and warm hospitality.

The annex is a beautiful place to stay. Joanne has thought of absolutely everything to make this a wonderful home from home on the Island. It is finished to a very high standard but still comfy and cosy with lovely furnishings. Lots of extra touches like charging points by the bedside, generous bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Information about local walks and very near a great beach. Very dog friendly too.

Catherine was a lovely host, receiving my girlfriend and I with a warm welcome. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions, concerns or requests we would have. Her space was beautifully decorated, and neatly organized, providing us with many amenities to make our trip that much more enjoyable.

We stayed 4 nights during HebCelt. The apartment is in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. There is ample parking available and everything that you could possibly wish for in the apartment. Everything was extremely clear, WiFi was fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Stayed here for my gf birthday and safe to say I’m gunna be in the good books for a while! Unreal location and views, you get a crazy sun set if you’re lucky enough. Place was spotless and the salmon in the fridge was a great touch and tasted amazing. Will defo be coming back

Excellent location, so close to the town but still quiet surroundings. Beautiful views and plenty room for parking outside. Flat is clean and cosy, and Marion made check in very easy with clear communication.

The flat was exactly what we needed for an extra unexpected week in Stornoway. Amy was really helpful throughout. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless - meticulously (and I mean meticulously) clean and beautifully presented in every detail. The accommodation is finished to an incredibly high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. Sam, the host, was amazing, from the initial booking to arriving on site, so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and hospitality made this one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough and would absolutely stay here again. An absolute gem of a place. Great accommodation with phenomenal surroundings - brilliant views of the Torridon mountain range. The accommodation was clean, very spacious and catered to all our needs. Sam was an excellent host. Friendly and always responsive.

Even with chilly and inclement weather, Lewis is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful ancient sites and beaches. We had the pleasure of staying at Marie's place while on a van tour. It was very clean and we were able to use the washer for our clothes. A very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Marie was very communicative and I appreciated that. A nice snack basket was provided including some eggs and crumpets which were a breakfast lifesaver, and the nearby local co-op grocers was great. Felt very homey, and the fireplace was a great comfort. Overall would recommend staying here for a trip to Storonway!
