Our stay at Butlers cabin was a weekend to remember! Beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife and quiet nights. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot on the lake with fishing and campfire stories this is the place! The host Burt was great with communication and even called to check in when he found out about a power outage from the neighbor (which wasn’t a problem since there’s a generator that automatically kicked on).

Mandi was a great host! Got back to us fast with any questions. The cabin is beautiful and the lake view is breathtaking. We stayed here in early March looking for snow and we sure did find it! It was beautiful like a winter wonderland. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and private retreat. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and see what this beautiful cabin looks like in spring!

Loved waking up to beautiful sunrises and views. There was 12 Trumpeter Swans hanging out in Duck Creek and one morning a red fox came wandering by. The duplex was easy to find and the neighborhood streets were plowed. Having a garage (shared) was a plus especially in winter. The drive into West Yellowstone (8 miles) was quick and easy. Really enjoyed our stay, very peaceful.

Nous souhaitions être dans un endroit paisible à proximité de Yellowstone mais loin de la foule, et cette magnifique maison en bord de lac a répondu à nos attentes. Un véritable havre de paix. On peut se rendre compte de tout l’amour mis dans cette magnifique demeure, de toute la décoration typique, et dans les moindres détails. Une très grande cuisine avec absolument tout ce qu’il faut. Et quel calme! C’était parfait! Nous avons pu profiter des canoës sur le lac et de soirées au bord de la cheminée. Et heureuse surprise d’un moose venu un matin se reposer en face de la salle à manger en bord de lac, le petit-déjeuner fut une merveille avec ce spectacle. Merci énormément à Rita et Isaac de leur partage et de nos échanges de messages.

The house was perfect. Felt bigger than it looked. Location was great. The outside of the house could use some improved landscaping, but the house is perfect. Would not hesitate to stay again if we headed out west.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was beautiful. All areas were clean and organized. We were really impressed with how well it was stocked with supplies for all your needs. The pizza oven made for a fun night. Our digital guide book answered all our questions. We only had one minor issue and it was met with the quickest resonse by maintenence, who was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We will be back!

We were looking for a fun, family getaway. We wanted to spend some time in Yellowstone and also along the river. This cabin was just the right size for our family. We were grateful to have the amenities to cook in the kitchen. There was bear spray provided in the cabin. We enjoyed the hammock and reading outside. Every question we asked or need we had was met with an immediate, helpful response. We would stay here again. Thank you!

The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It was equipped with all that we needed. Neighborhood was quiet. Lake was low but that is to be expected this time of year. Both adults and kids had fun fishing, kayaking, boating.
