FANTASTIC - every detail has been thought about carefully to give a glamping experience with class. The walk in showers were heated and had lots of hot water on demand. The kitchen area is better stocked with kitchen equipment and aids than most homes! The freely available logs were used for an outdoor firepit and in our Yurt. Clean bedlinen and towels just made this a memorable experience. You get this - set in the most spectacular grounds - looking at Slane castle with beautiful walks - we picked blackberries and loved the fresh outdoors. It's a great place and we loved staying there, we had teh bonus of good weather too. I hope to bring a group of friends next time. We know that Rock Farm hosts weddings and events too, and can see why the beautiful setting and home comforts would attract young couples to take their vows in this magical space. It's like a fairy glade at night, with lights to guide you around. Highly recommened by 3 sisters on a roots trip!

Very nice accommodation very peaceful and nice. Lovely to be in the setting of nature saw many corvids, pheasants and caught sight of a beautiful barn owl at night. We will be back again!

Wir hatten ein paar ruhige und wunderschöne Tage in der Jurte. Wir sind mit unserem Hund angereist und die Umgebung ist perfekt, um spazieren zu gehen. Morgens haben wir viele Hasen und Fasane gesehen. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht und war sehr sauber. Die Duschen und das Klo waren ebenfalls sauber und einfach zu finden. Carina hat super schnell auf meine Nachrichten reagiert und es wurde alles bestens erklärt. Wir waren Mitte März in der Jurte und es war angenehm war, dank des Holzofens, des Heizkörpers und der Matratzen die man elektrisch erwärmen konnte! Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

We had an awesome time at David's place! Very welcoming check-in process, good parking. The yurt is located on a peaceful campground site, with communal bathrooms/showers/laundry. There were two kitchens that we had access to/were allowed to use on our stay, one which had coffee and tea. The yurt was exceptionally warm and dry, beds were comfy, blankets were toasty, and towels were provided. We wish we could have stayed longer! Great pubs with good food and live music within walkable distance too!

We've stayed in loads of airb&bs and glamping and this one was hands down our favourite. The yurt was super cozy, clean and comfy. Host provided hot water bottles which we decided to use and they just added to the comfort. There was a heater in the yurt but we didn't use it. Walked, Lit a fire, made smores, kicked a ball, watched the sheep, played with the resident dog, simple things that added to the experience. Loved the bathrooms, kitchen facilities. Fabulous little touches around the place. It felt very "free" loved that we weren't restricted in the areas we could explore, we weren't met with a list of dos and donts like lots of places. Lorcan was so nice and friendly and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the place. I can't wait to return, perhaps with some friends to enjoy the large communal outdoor seating /bbq area. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Pobyt u hostitele jsme si maximálně užili. Ubytování odpovídá fotkám i popisu a nachází se v nádherném prostředí. Doslova pár metrů od chatky je krásný výhled na vodu a za pět minut autem se dostanete do města Kenmare. Hostitel byl vřelý a na zprávy odpovídal pohotově.

Beautiful and whimsical setting. The yurt was cozy and the fire really was enjoyable during the cool autumn weather. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and cutlery, making it easy to prepare meals, which we did both nights we were there. The animals were friendly and brought extra warmth as you could tell they were well loved and cared for. Colleen was sweet and friendly. Truely make us feel at home during our stay and helped guide us around the property and to local areas for supplies and what not.

Breege was super friendly and so helpful especially regarding the little ones. Excellent local knowledge and a fantastic host providing delicious breakfasts each morning.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Die Jurte und der ganze Platz sind sauber, liebevoll gestaltet und gemütlich. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Unsere Kinder hatten jede Menge Spielmöglichkeiten und es war insgesamt alles sehr unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Really lovely spot. Yurt was cosy and comfortable. Kitchen facilities were great. Very calm and peaceful environment with lots of trees and pollinator friendly plants. Kids loved the trampoline. And we all fell in love with Doris the pig!🥰 Beach is very close. Highly recommend if your looking for a tranquil rustic holiday in nature. We'll definitely go back.

What a great place to spend a couple of days - Sam was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everyone should try the experience of a hot tub under leafy trees at twilight at keast once. The yurt was basic but cosy and comfortable and the setting alongside the shore in beautiful mature Irish woodland beside a cascading stream is unique. If you don't care for the trappings of luxury (other than a wood fired hot tub) this place is not to be missed.

What a wonderful eco yurt. Had a wonderful time, Colleen was helpful and took the children to feed the pig and chickens. Nice walk to the beach- 20 minutes. They had the pizza oven on on our last night and did amazing pizzas at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay again

I had a fab stay in a yurt at Nicki’s magical place. It absolutely chucked it down and the terrain to and from the yurt was challenging on foot as a result - but Nicki has done a lot to try to mitigate that. If you’re someone who doesn’t have mucky boots or can’t stand a bug or two this isn’t for you - but if you want to get off grid and unwind in a unique and private setting then it’s perfect! We had a lovely spontaneous adventure and can’t wait to come back!

we had an amazing stay at Wanderglen, we will be back and for more then one night this time!! we loved every minute of it , wandering in nature. we also loved sitting by our fire pit watching the stars :)

Really enjoyed our stay! Lovely break away from the hustle and bustle. Love that it’s remote, off the grid with no tv etc. great way to spend time with loved ones. Super dog friendly! Only a 10min drive to Donegal town. The facilities are excellent - kitchen is amazing! Pizza oven outside - super cool! Just bring everything with you and you don’t need to leave. Highly recommend.
