Gorgeous, cosy place and we received a lovely welcome. Some very nice walks close by and the enchanted forest is worth a visit for both young and old.

We loved our stay at the Kilkea Castle lodge! The host was amazing and booked our dinner and breakfast reservations for us.

Lorna’s place is idyllic if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, with amazing quirky features all over her property. Ideal place for dog owners and one of the most amazing beaches in Ireland, Inch strand is just 15 minutes by car from Lorna’s place! One can continue further on the coast road to Dingle and the views were breathtaking! Staff were incredible and as I arrived too late for dinner in the most unusual restaurant onsite, they obliged by making me a takeaway vegetarian meal, and that was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay at Bill’s lodge. We were unlucky with the weather for the first 2 days but after that we were able to spend our time enjoying the walks of the local area! The proximity of the lodge to the local forest and its various walks was a real bonus and our dog companion really enjoyed them too! It was a real treat to wake up and find deer grazing on the grass by the lodge too 😍

The place is very quiet and peaceful. Kids could explore without having to worry about them disturbing anyone. They loved cutting bamboo and feeding the donkeys. We loved picking and cooking fresh vegetables. Other than a little dust under the beds and behind the heaters, the place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. Ian took us a tour around the farm on the first day and was very friendly and entertaining.

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary/belated honeymoon, and we absolutely loved our experience! Cliona was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She personally met us for check-in and took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the chalet (a thoughtful touch we've not experienced with other vacation rentals). Her efforts truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and at ease. We cherished the opportunity to disconnect from the world and simply enjoy each other’s company while exploring the island. We highly recommend this stay and hope to return someday.

Das Haus hat eine unglaublich schöne Lage. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet. Besonders praktisch waren die Steckdosen mit USB-Anschlüssen in jedem Raum. Bei Fragen wurde uns umgehend geholfen. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen dort und hatten Platz und Komfort. Es war fast schade, dass unsere Kinder schon zu groß waren, um die Spielmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus richtig zu genießen. :-) Die Bus-Zug-Verbindung nach Dublin hat uns tolle Ausflüge ermöglicht. Die Leap Visitor Card ist günstig und ermöglicht ein gemütliches Fahren rund um Dublin. Der Lebensmittelladen "Grogans Shop" unten im Ort ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und hat alle grundlegenden Dinge. Aber Achtung: es gibt keine Preise an den Waren. Der Verkäufer hat sich dann beim Kassieren ein äußerst großzügiges Trinkgeld gegeben! -> wir sind dann lieber mit dem Bus nach Donabate in den Supermarkt gefahren.

We had such a beautiful time here! We walked to Quinn’s for food, could walk to the beach (where there is also a sauna you can book), and were a short drive from town. I highly, highly, highly recommend!

We were looking somewhere quiet to relax for a few days & this was perfect for us. Clean, warm, cozy & dog friendly with beautiful views over the bay. The main beach is accessible on foot through the golf club carpark or you can drive 5 minutes to the next little village to it. It's a 1 minute walk to the pier/small beach, bar & restaurant from the property & the local golf club is only a few minutes walk away. Patrick was great to deal with, he phoned on the day of arrival & met us at the property & told us different places to explore etc. We will definitely return for another visit.

Amazing area so beautiful, chalet is literally 3 minutes walk to the most beautiful beach and lots of beaches and coves to explore, chalet is exactly as you see in the photos it has everything you need and very comfy id be happy to go again

Overall amazing stay! And would stay again!! Location was beautiful and as described. No need for communication throughout as all information provided was correct and helpful. Fair price per nightly stay. Did feel the £83 cleaning fee was unjustified due to having to clean all cutlery prior to use due visable stains and use. Not a huge deal as I feel everyone should do this when staying somewhere unfamiliar. There was also a small area of the bedroom floor with a few flies. Again this does not overly bother me, used the provided brush to clean away. Just felt the £83 charge for cleaning was slightly unjustified due to these findings. Perhaps half the sum? Ranging £20-£40 (20€-40€)? Again loved the place, would love to stay again. Great location and the accommodation was clean just minor details.

Un véritable petit coin de paradis ! L’endroit est absolument magnifique, avec une plage superbe à deux pas. Le logement était parfait : propre, confortable, bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. C’est clairement l’un des meilleurs logements que j’ai eus sur Airbnb. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable. Mon seul regret ? Avoir dû quitter cette maison incroyable… Je reviendrai sans hésiter !
