Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Very nice place to stay and I felt right at home. Perfect location to have privacy, but also close enough to pick up anything you may need from town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

I celebrated my birthday with friends at Dan and Sara’s place and everything was perfect about it. From the views to the amenities we had a great time. They have plenty of kitchenware to do the home cooked meals and plenty of dishes to serve everyone at once! The rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time in the hot tub and sitting out by the fire in the chilly weather. Thank you Dan and Sara from all of us!

This was our second time staying at this house at it was just as amazing as last time. Such a great house.

Two thumbs up on this lovely house. The views from the back porch were fantastic with nice open lake visible. The house is also on a cove, so a bit quieter than the main lake, but the water level off the dock was 12-14 ft so no issues with docking the boat we rented. There was a ladder for swimming and kayaks came with the house-we brought our own paddle boards. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of silverware and we were able to prepare two large meals for about 20 people with no issues. The driveway is a bit steep and long and there are stairs to navigate to get in the house and within so may be challenging if mobility an issue. The wifi was a bit slow if multiple folks using at once, but overall good for routine functions. The fire pit area was nice and well-maintained with seating for eight. Overall we loved this rental and would highly recommend.

I rented the place as a Christmas present for my daughter and her husband. I kept my granddaughter while they stayed. They had problems with the internet and James made a trip to the house and personally fixed the problem. They said he was really nice.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. Seclusion, limited cell signals and disconnecting was the draw to this place. Our girls have been watching "Little House on the Prairie" and wanted to stay in a place like that for their spring break. Needless to say the pace of the days slowed to a crawl with lots to do or nothing to do, your choice. We loved exploring the property, the awesome creek, fishing in the pond, kayaking on the pond and cooking our meals over the open flames (or coleman stove too). The owner did a wonderful job of communicating with us and making us feel like is was out place while there. It was a great trip and the girls loved sleeping in the cabin loft.

This is a nice place on the water with a dock. It has comfortable sleeping arrangements and a great screened porch.

we enjoyed our stay. Due to the guests staying here prior to us getting sick and need ingredients time to get well, Deb moved us to another location. We stayed at her lake house on Norman lake. It was very peaceful and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying there!! Thanks Deb!!

Very nice and peaceful lake cabin. Roomy and will accommodate up to 8-10 comfortably. Access to lake a dock is a big plus.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay for our vacation. We all felt very at home. The views from the house and deck were stunning. Hope we have a chance to come back!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

We had a fabulous time on the lake. We will definitely have to stay longer next time.

We loved the cabin. It had plenty of room for our family. The cabin is beautiful inside and out.

For the C4 unit, we had a wonderful stay there as well. The only concern which didn’t affect our stay was the blinds on the main front entrance door. Some of the blinds were damaged towards the bottoms and parts of it missing. I did report it to the front office as well. We enjoyed the tiny house and all the amenities! We even got to tour some of our neighbors tiny houses. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

James was very helpful and responsive to my questions! The home is adorable and right on the water. Walking distance to kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely stay again!
